Tudor's Biscuit World has been a staple in this area for many years. I was happy to see it close to the Nissan dealer where I dropped off my car. So my sister and I headed over for breakfast. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese biscuit and my sister the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a small coffee. I advised we did not want combo meals, however my sister was given a hash brown with her meal and I was charged for one combo. I'm only guessing she thought it was cheaper to do the combo versus the separate items. My biscuit was warm and the ingredients were fresh. I ate half the hash brown and it was good too. The service was quick and they clean up after you if you dine in. read more

Tudors in Ashland is a little pricey but their meals are large and they taste great! Whether you want a biscuit or a platter, the food is consistently awesome. I almost always get breakfast there if I'm in the area. I haven't tried their lunch but their menu looks good. I mostly use the drive-thru but their service there is fast and friendly. I can't really attest to ambience since I don't dine in. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I asked for scrambled eggs with sliced cheese and potatoes. I'm not a fan of their liquid cheese. They charged me for a little tater, even though I didn't get gravy biscuit or bacon. This is what I received. Maybe a bite of eggs, over cooked potatoes, and a slice of cheese just thrown on top not melted. This shows an extreme lack of care, and pride in your job. Usually tudors is good. I believe that every one of these places has to have a crew of blue haired grandmas in the back fixing biscuits every mornings. They specialize in breakfast sandwiches and the biscuits are old school "cats head" biscuits like every old timer makes. You really can't go wrong with any of their standard biscuits but try one with a potato on it for something different. read more

I came in here pretty early before work. I'm here on a work trip and they don't have these where I'm from. I have had Tudor's back in college. It was super icy and snowy, so they were a bit understaffed, but I still got my order pretty quickly. I ordered the "Miner" biscuit and it was pretty amazing. The hash brown is definitely on par with McDonald's, and the bacon was better than any other fast food place. There was also some cheese sauce in there but not too much. I visit Tudor World a couple times a week. I've only lived in Ashland 15 months. I have to say, their Bacon and egg wrap is to die for! The first time, I thought it taste so good, because I had just found out I didn't have Cancer. Nope, the second one was just as good! Fresh, hot, and just screaming, "Eat Me!!" I like to pair this with fresh dropped fries! Perfect pair, and, yes you can get them in the morning too! You can get them fresh morning, noon, and night. I would tell you about the hotdogs, but that's another story. Go check them out, and see for yourself! Very nice people, with good customer service! I can smell those french fries now! For the second week in a row I have eaten here and I am extremely impressed! If there is a better $5 cheeseburger meal out there then I don't know where it is! Today I had the Ham sandwich special and it was very good as well. This is short order cooking at its best. They have a full menu of home cooked food that I am anxious to try. It's also nice that they have two or three diet drink choices for those of us that need to avoid sugar. read more

The food is good but the wait is just too much. If I go at breakfast, it isn't too bad but there are still times when I am asked to pull up for my one biscuit but the person in front of me was able to sit at the window for their bags and bags of food. Lunchtime is a nightmare... I went around 1pm for my 1/2 hour lunch break. I sat in the drive thru waiting on 2 hotdogs and french fries for nearly 20 minutes, leaving me less than 10 minutes to scarf the food and drive back to work. Meanwhile, a lady stood counting the til and wouldn't acknowledge me, the overly cheery guy who took my order and my money went up front to help all THOSE customers and my food sat on the shelf for about 10 minutes because he didn't bother checking too often and apparently math was hard for the lady counting the til! Never again for lunch and only for breakfast if I can stand it. McDonalds is cheaper and MUCH faster for both! read more

I've enjoy many Tudors however this one was a let down. I ordered the big potato with ex cheese. And well if I paid a dollar for extra cheese I expected extra cheese and well as you can see I got far from it. This is supposed to have scrabbled egg with it and as you can see I got a tease of egg. As I sat parked in the lot waiting for the 1 sandwich I ordered in the drive through, I told my husband, "I don't care if it's the best sandwich I've ever had, I'll never come back here." This was after we had waited well over 5 minutes after being told to pull forward and they'd bring it out. It ended up taking over 10 minutes. But...best biscuit I've ever had..warm, perfectly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. I had the Dottie, which is hash brown, cheese and egg (I asked for scrambled). I'm eating my words. I love this place. I had to come to Ashland for a class, and was pleased to see that they'd put one close to the hospital. Excellent biscuits, fresh eggs, and decent coffee with refills are all great but friendly service earns them that fourth star. This place is as good as it gets for eating out. The breakfast food is just like home cooked. The lunch menu is very good, surprisingly the hotdog sauce is very very good. I've never eaten dinner there before but I would if they would stay open later. My only complaint would be the fact that they don't serve real butter. read more
