I really had a craving for biscuits and while we were traveling through West Virginia, I kept seeing signs for Tudor's Biscuit World. So the morning we were leaving Charleston, instead of having breakfast at the hotel (and I do love a Hampton Inn breakfast) we made our way to the nearest Tudor's. The menu (see picture) can be overwhelming if you've never seen it. The lady at the counter asked what we wanted and it took a minute to figure it out. When I mentioned I wanted a biscuit that had ham on it, she asked if I wanted shaved, honey or country and I had to tell her I didn't know what she meant. Then she asked if it was our first time and when I told her "yes' she kindly explained that those were ham options. Then another worker said we came to the best location and everyone agreed. I ordered some sides (tots and hashbrowns) and the cashier told me she'd do the order as a combo because it was cheaper so she even saved me a few bucks. We got our coffee and then sat down to wait for our food. The server who brought the food was so nice and seemed to know everyone in the place. My ham, egg and cheese biscuit (with hashbrowns on it) was so good. I was not hungry until dinner time, it was so filling. I like my homemade biscuits but I wished they tasted more like these. We really enjoyed the friendly service and the terrific food at this Tudor's Biscuit World. Remember, West Side is Best Side!

    A GREAT BLT!!!

Everyone raves about Tudor's for breakfast items. But, I think its BLT is the BEST in town! Served on Texas Toast with a generous portion of bacon, I always ask for a little extra mayo! It's LESS than $5. Wow!!!!

The remnants of our exploration of the following items: Politician, peppy, Mountaineer, Miner, Shaved ham melt, Duke, Thundering hard, Mary b, Ron, Gravy platter. We were highly satisfied. The basic sausage egg cheese wasn't great.

For what it is (a fast food breakfast joint) Tudors is pretty good. The biscuits are double the size of anything you'll get at McDonald's or Burger King, and 10x better. One of my favorite items is the biscuits and gravy. Good mix of sausage in the gravy, and it's old fashion style like your grandma would make.

Our server was very nice, but the food was not tasty. I purchased the Super Breakfast and I barely ate it. My other three family members purchased the same thing and they had no complaints. My son ordered a cheeseburger and fries and was pleased. The women's restroom was nasty. It needed a few cleaning. I am glad I got to try something new, but it just wasn't for me.

    Sausage platter was huge!

Best biscuits ever! And the sweetest waitress, Stephanie. Great experience all in all!

Biscuit & sausage gravy. Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuit.

The service was friendly. The biscuits were good. The rest of our meal - scrambled eggs, sausage patty, fried potatoes, sausage gravy - was bland. There was no seasoning. I expected more country flavor from a place named "Biscuit World".

    Slow day.

We arrived 15 minutes before closing and although the restaurant was still open they were no longer serving.

My margarita was not good at all. So bad that I didn't even drink more than half which is just a sin when it comes to expensive cocktails. My husband's chicken sandwich had about as much chicken as a tiny tender strip. He left hungry. I had the steak special. Which had good flavors (as anything covered in cheese would) but if I'm paying $60 for a medium rare steak, it's a shame that it came out medium well. Roasted cauliflower was mid, I make better at home in my air fryer. Service was good but the waitress was pretty pushy with the extras like we were insane for not ordering appetizers and not letting her bring us a glass of 4 roses. Ambiance was fine. But the experience was not worth my money, not even if it was half the cost honestly.

The bar staff was outstanding from start to finish. We had a few different bartenders taking care of us, and each one was attentive, friendly, and great at helping with recommendations. We ordered the New York steak and the Brussels sprouts special. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium, and the Brussels sprouts hit that ideal balance--crispy, flavorful, and just right. Everything we had was packed with flavor. The drinks didn't miss either--ice-cold beer and expertly crafted cocktails all around. If you find yourself in Charleston, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

The food felt legitimately high quality, like they're putting real care into the ingredients and preparation. I ordered the steak, and it was flavorful with a really good garlic butter that complemented it perfectly. Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just how I wanted. The loaded fries were excellent too (maybe a touch salty, but in that addictive way), and they came with this awesome ranch that tied everything together. I got the half order, and let me tell you, it was massive. Easily enough for 3-4 people to share. The mac and cheese was solid as well, creamy and comforting without being over the top. What surprised me most was the value. For the caliber of food and the portions they're serving, the prices were very reasonable. Honestly better than I expected for something this good. Service was on par, if not a bit more professional than you'd usually find at a casual spot like this. Everyone was attentive without being pushy, and it made the whole meal feel smooth. Overall, I'm excited they're here. The Fort feels like a welcome addition. Solid execution on the basics, generous portions, and a vibe that makes you want to come back. If you're in the Charleston area and looking for a good meal without breaking the bank, definitely give it a try. I'll be returning soon. Highly recommended!

We started with the fried banana pepper app. The breading was light and crispy- not dense and greasy, which was great. The peppers themselves didn't have much flavor but it was still enjoyable. We each got a burger (hearing they were great). My wife is a burger conisour and unfortunately, this one didn't wow her. Neither of us were super impressed with the burgers. I thought the meat was delicious and well seasoned but the whole burger was meh. The star of the show (for us) were the hand cut fries. They were cooked to perfection and dusted with a wonderful seasoning combination. I think we will come back to try the steaks and some of the other good looking items the menu holds. The atmosphere was super laid back and inviting. TVs surrounded the dining room so you won't miss a second of the game!
