While on the phone i specifically asked for rollers for the back wheels, as the car was unable to be put in neutral and the parking brake could not be release. I was informed this would incur extra equipment fees, and i agreed to this. When the truck arrived, the driver refused to use the tow hook and insisted on strapping to my rear control arms, then instead of rollers, pulled out plastic slides. When i explained why i requested rollers i was met with "i know how to do my job" and "do you want me to leave" threatening to strand me with my car. While loading my vehicle, one side slid off due to the inappropriate winch angle. When i called dispatch to speak to the manager, i was informed I "never asked for rollers" and was then told about the slides and told they would have never sent the truck if i wanted rollers. I never would have agreed to the tow if they would have informed me of the slides. This seems like a blatant attempt to gaslight me, after they already had money they only then told me about the slides. Even after multiple requests to ensure the wheels would not roll, the driver jerked and bounced my car by the rear wheels when attempting to unload my car. They know best, and the customers concerns aren't valid.

We had a very disappointing experience with S&G Carpet…read more The initial installation was extremely poor, staples and nails and screws were left exposed on the carpet and also thrown on the floor (a safety hazard, especially with small children), debris wasn't cleaned up, and there was even a spill that was not disclosed until we pointed it out. The carpet also had to be redone due to workmanship issues, requiring multiple return visits and extending what should have been a straightforward project into several days. (Install was Monday and was finally properly completed on Thursday) While the company eventually sent a different installer to correct the work (2 more times), the process to get there was frustrating. Communication from management was argumentative and combative at times, to the point that I did not feel comfortable meeting alone and asked my husband to be present. The tone of the interaction was noticeably different in person. We ultimately reached a resolution, but it took far more effort than it should have. After spending nearly $8,000, the level of workmanship, professionalism, and overall experience simply did not reflect the value we were promised. When I asked her for the source of her information about the lawsuits so I could educate myself while researching...she responded, another dealer in Lowell, but there not gonna tell you anything. WTF!? I feel like this business will tell you ANYTHING to sell you their products. We were fully willing to purchase a whole house worth of flooring IF they could match the tone of the wood flooring we settled on. Not only could they not, they lied to get us to settle on something else. How do I know they lied? I can't find any public record of litigation or class action against the manufacturer of the sample product from Lowe's. Also: when she was banging on about the alleged lawsuits, she confirmed my sample WAS engineered hardwood after telling me it was luxury vinyl plank - confirming no educational foundation on flooring products - which is a red flag for a store devoted entirely to selling flooring.
