Came out fantastic. But first the back story. I was very clear in my expectations. Why? My sister in-law had an issue right up with 10x20 shed. A larger project. But not so much. She was told buy Ken the on-site Sales manager it there wouldn't be a permit needed for the city of Grapevine, TX. Wrong. That it would be a 1 day promised job and 1 man showed up. She made a call and had the permit taken care of an clear an extra man on the job. As for us. The crew showed up without our Cooper colored roof. They indicated the code on the order was incorrect. Made a call before the crew unloaded the supplies and before any work was to take place. I did not want a shed being built and in progress waiting for roofing material. You can imagine how that might go. Possible out of stock or unavailable scenario, etc, i wasn't going to allow that to happen. They immediately went back to the Grand Prairie plant and picked up the copper colored roof. The rest was a clean, organized and tight job. Love the fit & finish of this Tuff Shed. Again. Buyers should always be in control and do your homework. Way less problems. Don't let any contractor start a job without all the materials. Then they have the control. If it's promised in 1 day all components of the job need to be present. I gave the 5 Stars because Ken was responsive, non evasive & followed up. But you must manage the project to some degree. I'm not happy with the install of my shed. I paid $4600.00 for an 8 x 12 Sundance lean to at the Home Depot in Roanoke TX. I paid $200.00 for a man tuff shed recommended to level my spot. When he was finished it looked halfway decent. The guy that installed my shed put more blocks in and now its 8-9 inches off the ground. I wanted it to be as low as possible. I need the get a ramp just to put anything in it. I'm going to the BBB and see if I can get my $200 back since it was a waste of money to be leveled. I'm not a happy customer. read more

I would like to thank JR Rivera the rep that we went through in helping us with the City of Fort Worth in getting our 2 lots rezoned into one and then helping us get a Building Permit from the City. He walked us through the whole process and went totally beyond in dealing with the city and our project. He insured that all internal Tuff Shed processes and work on our building was done properly and in the most efficient way. He kept us up to date on all target dates and activities. Job well done! Would also like to thank Javi and Marco, who were the builders used by Tuff Shed to construct our Garage. It was one of the bigger units that Tuff Shed sells to the public (22 x 40). DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE! They will hold your money hostage while delaying and rescheduling installation. Purchased beginning of May, it's now mid July, they now want to reschedule for the 2nd time for October. I had to take a vacation day to be home for the rescheduled install- still no shed. If get you get tired of their awful business practices and mistreatment, they want to keep a percentage of your thousands of dollars because "you're requesting to cancel, and there's a cancelation fee" I don't normally complain, but if this review prevents one person from being taken advantage of it was worth the small effort of speaking up. read more

I learned that Tuff Shed sold in Haltom City represents the manufacturer. Home Depot sells Tuff Shed as a distributor for the parent company, but the real difference is in the service. Everyone knows that getting an informed salesperson at HD is difficult at best. And even though one wouldn't think so, there are many nuances to consider when purchasing a shed. That's where JR from TS in Haltom City excels. He brings to light many considerations that a sales person at HD wouldn't know about much less address. The shed is perfect, very well built and solid. We even went with a cheaper version with less upgrades and it is still very solid and roomy. We have no complaints. We purchased online after designing it ourselves. The builders came out about a week later and built it in about three hours and JR provided excellent customer service and communication throughout the deal. Definitely would recommend! read more

Our experience from beginning to end was great! The crew that came out was nice and efficient and made sure we were happy with everything ! The even trimmed the tree that was around the shed so it wouldn't be touching the roof. Now we have a lovely shed in the back yard and more room in the garage. We just had our 3rd Tuff Shed built. We didn't have any problems with the first two. We were scheduled to start the construction of our 3rd building on March 17th. We received a call a day or two before the start date. They told us they would now be starting on March 19th. On the afternoon of March 18th I called Tuff Shed to confirm they would be here in the morning, they told me they weren't going to start until March 21st. When the installers showed up on the 21st I asked them if they could frame up a 7' and 9' wall inside the building for us. I told them we would pay extra (cash) for their services. They said sure. I told them to get me a material list and I would go to Home Depot and get the supplies. I was told they would get the materials from their supplier, it would be cheaper. I said that would be fine. Fast forward to March 27th. The crew was here finishing up the job. When I asked about the walls, the guy kinda stuttered and said he didn't know if they had time to put up the walls, he would call and find out. He never contacted me, they just loaded up and left when they were done. Now I'm having to scramble around to try to find somebody to frame up the walls. We have the plumber and electrician scheduled to show up on Monday. If they weren't going to do what they told me they would do they never should have told me they would do it. I will never use Tuff Shed again. read more

Do not buy a Tuffshed from any Home Depot in DFW. You will go through all your medication, just putting up with their incompetency starting with the Tuffshed sales manager all the way to the the scheduler that text me the wrong dates for delivery. Buy from someone else. I bought a custom built from a local and it got here faster than the Home Depot display !! and Yeah you should be able to pull my name, so when you get reprimanded. You can thank me....Tuffshed won't let you leave a review. I wonder why??? I'm sorry Home Depot Cleburne TX, but you're just as bad for allowing a company to do this to your loyal customers. I scheduled twice and twice they cancelled on me on the day they were supposed to show up. I told them that if they cancel again, I'm going to their competitor. I got them through Home Depot's Red Beacon which obviously doesn't matter. The service is horrible. Never again. read more
