Awful. Incredibly rushed, cheap and careless. I got a UV French Manicure, which actually killed my nails. 7 months later, I'm still trying to restore my original strength. My nails were paper thin after I got them removed, and when they were going on originally, the nail tech burnt my nail beds so badly that I had to keep moving my hands out from the UV, which the tech continued to push back in. Pretty awful. My nails were also yellow after I got the gels removed. Too many nail salons around to go here. read more

I was really disappointed. Had been here once before and gotten a decent pedi with a very respectable massage. The massage is what made me come back. This time, the massage guy literally had NO-ONE in the entire salon and just stood around without offering me a massage. I complained on the way out and they seemed confused. Won't go back. For the price, will go to some of the more premium places that offer the full service experience. read more

I have been going to this salon for over 2 years now, seeing Katy most of the time. SO much better under the new owners. No more pop music (think spa) and everyone there is great and does a nice job. I've been going to tulips for a few years now. I've tried a few places in between every once in a while but somehow I always end up going back to them. I've never been disappointed, they have a large variety of color gel colors, and there prices are comparable to everyone else around. Joy is by far the best, and I personally do not like the way the men to do my nails so I avoid them. The only negative thing I can say is, I don't think they do a great job on there pedicures. I really want someone to massage my feet and I feel like they just totally lack in that area, unless you want to pay a crazy amount for one of there special pedicures (which to me should be a standard pedicure) Other than that, I think they're great. read more

I stumbled upon this place coming from getting my lashes done at the Fairfield lash center which I LOVE. Let me start off by saying that they SUCK, I got a mani and pedi and was done in 20 minutes! I wanted to unwind and maybe get a light foot massage and that just didn't happen! The nail polish paint job is something I could of done myself with my left hand (I'm a righty) NEVER COMING BACK! I've have been going to Tulips for a couple years and I love everyone there. Every nail technician does a fantastic job and moves fairly quickly. I get a gel manicure during my lunch break and never have had a problem getting back to work on time. I also get my eye lash extensions done here by Emily (I believe?) and she does a beautiful job. Everyone is friendly, professional and the salon is very clean. Their prices are comparable to the area as well - all good things! read more

Within six days three of my brand new gel nails popped off. I went back in thinking maybe get a fill because the rest we're lifting. I wasn't happy that I would have to pay 40 bucks after just spending 50. The girl was like no it's not time . I showed her my nails and all she was willing to do is put more glue underneath from the sides of the nail. She even told me my nails didn't look natural because they were too thick! The next day I decided to go somewhere else being that u could see all the glue coming out the sides. Never again read more

I have tried this place many times. I go there with such hope each time that my experince will get better. The other day I realized the hope is gone and the business will not change. When I arrived I was stared at by 5 employees. 1 was doing a manicure, the other 4 looked at me and then looked down at their phones ignoring me. Finally, the lady with the client asked me what I needed. I told her just a manicure and nobody moved an inch. Finally, the lady with the client told one of the male employees who was limping and clearly in pain that he had to do my nails. He was miserable the whole time and rushed through it. Massage lasted 1 min, 30 seconds each hand and he hardly touched my cuticles. I remember he gave me a pedicure once before, he did it in literally 10 min. it was the worst pedicure I have ever gotten! The gentleman giving messages completely skipped over me and went right to a lady that walked in 5 minutes after me. She must have been a regular because the 4 girls doing nothing jumped up when she came through the door. They should be treating every one the same, I do not tolerate that! I would have gotten my eyebrows done too but I did not want to give them anymore of my money. It's such a shame because it is in a great location and they do give some what decent manicures. Unfortunately, I felt uncomfortable and unwanted in that place, it wasnt the first time I felt that way. Can I post zero stars? Terrible, terrible. So sad I paid for it. My daughter's mani/pedi... They only polished her nails! No manicure to speak of. They didn't even take her to a manicure table, just painted her nails while she was sitting in the pedi chair. Didn't even wash her hands! My pedicure is so terrible that I have to go have someone fix it tomorrow. Please, there are so many other nail salons in our area. Find another one. I have been going to Tulips for two years now, and I have always been satisfied. I get a UV gel French manicure, and Joy is my nail tech. She gives the best manicure I have ever gotten, hands down (pun intended). My nails look natural, with no bubbling or lifting for weeks afterward. I only have to get my nails done every 3-4 weeks because they are so well-done. Pedicures are pretty standard--nothing special, but not bad. But the manicure by Joy is outstanding. read more

I went for a regular manicure and pedicure. It was pathetic.. I WILL NEVER GO BACK to this place. The pedicure and manicure was about 20 minutes. The lady providing the services did not care much for providing a foot rub or filing my nails. When it was time for my manicure, my hands were not soaked in water. Nails were cut haphazardly. I had to ask her to file them, but, she ended up cutting them shorter. I had blood bleeding from my cuticles. What a mistake coming to this salon. I tried Tulips because it is right across the street from my job, I'll NEVER come back here. Not only did it take the woman an hour and a half to do what should have taken a half hour, it cost me twice as much as my regular salon. And she did a TERRIBLE job. All my nails were different lengths, and she did not file them the way I asked her to, and I asked her multiple times. Not only did I overpay, but now I need to go to my regular salon and pay again to have my nails fixed. I couldn't stay there any longer to have her redo them, because I was already past my lunch hour. This place is a joke. read more

The one thing I was missing was the chair massage from my previous salon. They are under new management all for the better. The added new technicians are very friendly !!
