A great little beer and cigar store buried in Hannaford Plaza in eels, ME. The folks here are always friendly and are happy to help you with your beer selection. For this area, they have a wide selection of domestic craft beers, as well as imports from several countries, with a focus on Belgium beers. Great spot. read more

This place has an excellent selection of craft beer. I've been here a few times and have loved it. However I looked this morning at the yelp page and it says they are open Sundays 10-5 and i'm sitting out front of the store now and they are most certainly closed today. Too bad. My review used to be 5 stars then I ordered a keg. A confirmation call that it could be ordered and one that it was in. I arranged the following weekend to pick it up and there was no keg!! Clerk apologized (wasn't his fault!) and said someone would call. No call! For each of the past 5 years I've spent easily 1000 dollars a year in this store. Suddenly I'm not feeling appreciated! It also appears some of the personal interest in the business here has declined. Just another beer store at this point so I'll plan on supporting the mega places back home vs the local store owner sadly. read more

This store has an amazing selection and crazy helpful staff. The selection is insane they have more beers than a reasonable person could drink and are constantly getting new things. The staff always have great suggestions when I am unsure of what to get. For 3 years in a row I have gone to do Christmas shopping here. Mediocre selection, very little knowledge of basic wines - person working there who claimed she's a wine drinker had never heard of Justin wines. For crying out loud, the NH Liquor store on 95 has heard and carry Justin wines. Offered to take my name and number down and get back to me. Quicker to take a ride to NH and get a better selection. But if you want basic wines or some craft beer, I guess it's an ok place. read more

As a regular vacationer to nearby Wells Beach, I love Tully's and wish there was a similar place near me. I am a craft beer drinker of IPAs. It's rare that I go places and see more than a few reputable microbrews that I haven't tried. At Tully's they have what seems like dozens. Some of the best beers I've ever had I got there, and in a family locale like Wells that's the key to a good vacation. Not only do they have great selection, the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. I see they have cigars and wines; I can only assume the selection is akin to the beer. You know how sometimes you have to get beer in a crummy little city corner store and all they have is Sam Adams and crap? This is the opposite of that. read more

We love this place. The staff is knowledgeable and fun, and it's the only place to go for great beers, wines and cigars. The beer selection is incredible, whether you like craft brews, Gerrmans, Belgians, whatever, you can find it there in the cooler. The wine selection is also very broad, from big cabs like Cakebread, to the great "3fer" section where you can get great deals on your every day wines. The humidor is well-stocked and the quality is excellent. I especially like the fact that they make it a point to get to know you and what their customers typically buy and like, and they keep that in mind. I've been in bigger beer stores and stores with a bigger selection but for my money when in southern Maine there is only one place to shop. With their knowledgeable staff your sure to find beers that you will thinking about for years. Nobody has more beer from Maine breweries and choice beers from craft breweries from the U.S. and the world. Not every beer in the world is at Tully's, just the right ones! If you cannot find a beer or wine of interest, there is something wrong with you. You're probably drinking your wine out of a box. They have every wine and beer region represented, with many bottles in a half dozen full-size refrigeration cases. They even have wine gift boxes and fun beer glasses. Everyone is so helpful - the owner even offered to help us when we get to planning our wine and beer tour through Germany. It is hard to leave here without something! read more
