I originally stopped by in search of pottery classes--and was delighted to find not only that they offer them, but also that a new session begins on October 13th. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! The family run small business ran without missing a beat, kept the kids engaged and corralled, parents were able to mingle (except during the kids vs adults dodgeball game), and all the kids left nicely tired and with smiles on their face. The assortment of sports and games was great. Equipment in good condition. Plenty of space in the first floor of the mall. Easily able to get things in and out if you park back on the lower level and cart whatever in. Nice sized area to bring pizza and cake and drinks for the kids. No booze allowed, adults! The family set things up and cleaned up. The family could not have been nicer, chill, and attentive.

Classes are monthly or yearly, and are 40-45 minutes long. They're usually some learning, about colors but its definitely more activity based, learning about rolls and jumps. My kid enjoys it because it's like going to the playground but with more obstacles and things to learn.

Unfortunately, when we booked his camp this year, we were notified 3 days later that I was being transferred for work to another state. When we asked for a refund, they told us there was a $60 processing fee that was non-refundable. In spite of being repeat customers, and funneling our son's friends to their camp as well, they would not budge on this, despite the short gap between the purchase and the request for a refund. You would think with how many camps there are in the Atlanta area, they'd work with us to maintain a good reputation in the community. This is a dishonest practice and we will discourage our friends in the area from using their services in the future.

It also encourages kids (and adult teachers like me) to tap into their silly, creative side. The kids light up when they do the chants, mantra, breathing and poses and look forward to doing them again the next class. The activities that they do in their classrooms are incredible - they get to participate in Chinese, Spanish, Art and gym classes. The Director, Assistant Director and all of the teachers are very professional, and they genuinely care for every student that walks through their doors. When the boys wake up on the weekends and become disappointed that they are not going to school, it provides us with such peace of mind knowing that they love their teachers, friends and the overall learning experience that Cadence provides. Cadence has become a part of our extended family, and we are forever grateful that we found them.

She absolutely loved the school and really exceled. The staff and curriculum prepared her extensively for her dual language immersion elementary school. She still talks about the teachers and misses going to the school. We really appreciate the school hours and they are very accommodating with schedules so it's great for working parents. We also enrolled our son at Cadence since he was 3 months old and he is now almost 4 years old, about to start Pre-K. Ms. Mickie and Ms. Kelly are amazing. They have very high standards for the daycare and always communicate with the parents. I email them and will always receive a response within 24-48 hours, most of the time the day of. As parents, we really appreciate the communication and transparency. The teachers are the best of the best. Most of them have been there decades and they truly love the kids. We love Ms. Monica and Ms. Maria, they treat the kids like their own. It really feels like a family. I cannot rave about them enough. They also send daily updates on the activities, what they ate, and pictures throughout the day. There is Mandarin class every Tuesday, book days, yoga, arts and crafts, STEM learning, etc. We love the school and cannot recommend them enough.
