There are two mini golf courses, a fun play area for kids, and good music playing throughout. The adults had a great time in the birthday room, which featured both a foosball and a billiards table. Extremely disappointed and concerned as a mother…read more As a mother, I trusted The Little Gym of Lawrenceville to provide a safe, respectful, and emotionally supportive environment for my 2-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, our experience was the opposite. On July 28, 2025, my daughter was verbally attacked by another adult inside the classroom. This woman shouted directly at my daughter, treated her harshly, and even snatched an object out of her hands. When I respectfully addressed the situation, I was also yelled at and disrespected by that same adult -- in front of other parents. Even worse, the instructor present did nothing to intervene, later telling me, "I was with other kids and couldn't do anything." I submitted a notarized formal complaint and demanded action within 48 hours. Instead of a resolution, I received delays, vague responses, and excuses. To this day, no apology has been issued, no action has been taken, and my child's emotional safety has been ignored. I have since canceled my membership and strongly urge other parents to think twice before trusting this location. Children deserve protection, not silence.

PROS: There are a variety of construction toys, you can ask for picnic blankets, they offer birthday party plans (10 kids- $300 20 kids- $600) with membership plans ($40/month min 3 months), plenty of seating, and fun programs such as "digging for treasure" (which is super hard to find). They have "foot wash" stations. CONS: The guy working at the front did not seem very interested and was on his phone/had his AirPods in the whole time (had to physically wave at him to get his attention). I am not sure how well they honestly clean between sessions but enter at your own risk. Of course you are not allowed to throw sand but sometimes some of the parents were not interested in monitoring their children. There were some metal equipments that can be a bit dangerous. Overall a cool experience.

My husband drops off my daughter at practice 8 minutes early. There are 8 young gymnasts on the floor and 3 coaches. 2 coaches are sleeping and the other is texting. Nobody is watching the kids! My husband is nervous about leaving our daughter snaps some photos and complains about the lack of supervision. I call the co-owner to complain as well. The head coach of the gym then sends me NOT my husband this text on my personal cell! He said his coaches were on break until 2 when class started. Break should end once children have entered the gym after being dropped off and are now under your supervision. Coaches should also be napping in another room and not on the gym floor. Next, I found out the coach took our 7 year old daughter off of the floor. Tells her to grab her stuff and sit on the bleachers. Then sends her to the front of the gym. We found her pacing alone at the front of the gym in tears!!! She said she had been there for a long time! You do not do this to a child! If you prefer to pay full price for classes that end early, have coaches that will send your young children out of the gym before parents arrive, or love to have your children around sleeping/texting/eating coaches then this gym is for you! If you even bother complaining to anyone other than the head coach who is never there (don't complain to the co-owner or anyone else), you will probably receive disgusting messages or even get yelled at by the HEAD COACH himself! Be mindful that if you do decide to pay for your commitment fees, uniform fees, etc. and the head coach has disrespected you as a loyal customer, then you will not get your money back! Think twice before you make an investment. I would not recommend this gym to ANYONE!

My oldest is now 10, he began going at age 2 when they were connected to Great Beginnings. They are now at 211 PIB, FYI. My younger two have gone since they were infants and I think we've had 3-4 of their birthday parties there. The owner & her staff have an amazing ability to connect with the kids & teach them skills while having a blast in an encouraging, safe environment. My boys have also gone to their summer camps & LOVED them, and we've taken them to countless Kids NIght Out events so we could enjoy a dinner/movie. Such a lifesaver if we decided last minute to do something & didn't have a sitter. My kids are now in school full time & several different sports and I now work FT, so we no longer attend classes. I just really appreciate the years they put into teaching my kids & being so caring and attentive. The owner has 4 grown kids and she always told me funny stories, and really understood how crazy & busy my life with 3 little boys was!! Also - 1 time my mom was visiting and had a terrible fall there. She was quite shaken up & very embarrassed. I had an infant in a car seat carrier at the time + a toddler who was there in class. The owner immediately came over to help my mom up, got her ice, offered to call an ambulance, etc....just totally put my mom at ease and that was priceless to me. Thank you so much, Metro Gym!!
