In a world with Instagrammable yet subpar food, Tummy Stuffers is perfectly no-frills and simply deliciously. I love the interior of Tummy Stuffer. It feels like a wonderful Y2K liminal space, except very clean and not spooky! There's tons of seating, which may seem excessive at first, but then in walks families, professionals, and anyone looking to eat some delicious, reasonably-priced food. It's a real slice-of-life kind of place-- a very lively ambiance. I actually *enjoy* waiting for my food as there's lots to looks at, but unfortunately I never have to wait long; even in busy the busy lunch rushes, I haven't had to wait more than 10 or so minutes. The people are what make Tummy Stuffer unique. Not just the customers, but the staff as well. It's very clearly a family run business for all the right reasons; you can tell a lot of love and pride goes into each order. Sandwiches are hard as everyone likes their sandwich a different way, but my order has never been incorrect here. The menu is vast (almost overwhelming) and when I first started going here I thought there was no way they could be good at cold and hot sandwiches, plus non-traditional deli items like teriyaki or kimchi. I haven't made my way through the entire menu yet, but so far I've been proven wrong! Ingredients are FRESH, the soft drinks are perfectly carbonated and ice is always full. This sandwich place is good for what it is, and will keep you full.. even on only a half portion size. The location is tucked away in a strip mall off the main street, but you can spot the signage easily. So why 3 stars? These sandwiches aren't particularly interesting, and the bread doesn't seem baked fresh. There is absolutely nothing WRONG with the food, but nothing exciting either. The interior also seems very dated and like they aren't investing in people coming and spending time there. Just my assessment. My major complaint... is that they close too early. You want a sandwich for dinner? You're out of luck. ...but if that's my worst complaint, than they're doing really well. Their prices are more than fair, portions are huge, and they even make their salads fresh on premesis. Seems to be family-run, and that's fine by me. No, they may not bake the bread on site, but considering places like Subway are overpriced and mediocre at best, this works. Great simple sandwiches. I always get the turkey avocado and cheese on squaw bread. It's always fresh and the perfect size. It generally comes with pickles, lettuce, purple onion, tomato and Mayo. They have hella sandwiches to choose from too! No matter how picky you are, they have a sandwich combination for you. Customer service is fine. I don't know what people are talking about it. I've never had a bad experience. Also! They are very generous with their portions! if it says it has avocado, it comes with avocado alright! I hate paying for avocado and they just throw in a slice. What an amazing find! I finally tried this place despite always seeing it pop up on my Yelp search around the area. They have a great combo deal, but I wish they had sandwich and soup combos, which is my favorite deal. They have a regular 8" sandwich (the "plainer" choices of steak, tuna, turkey, etc. on a French Roll), a macaroni, pasta or green salad and a soft drink for $6.99! What a steal! However, I was in my soup and sandwich mood and opted to order separately, which is still not a bad deal. I got an 8" steak, avocado, mushroom and cheese with pickles, lettuce and tomato and it was delicious and very filling! I don't know how to describe it, but it's perfect drunk or hungover food as well. The hours and location are a bit out-of-place, but the sandwich makes up for all of it. The soup of the day was Chicken and Wild Rice and I had to say it tasted a bit odd... perhaps like MSG? It was different and a small for $1.99 was quite filling. My last review was about two years ago now. It has been a long two years. I used to work down the street from tummy stuffers but alas, that is no longer due to covid. I made the drive today to go visit and order a sandwich and I was not disappointed. Simple sandwiches done thoughtfully. There's nothing super gourmet about their sandwiches but it's just done right. The quality and consistency is always there. The same four people always work there and I truly appreciate them. Friendly, as fast as they can be, and consistent. These guys work hard. Today I had my usual order of a Monster on French Roll with everything. And #46 BLTA on toasted sourdough. And a side of fried zuccs. French roll is always soft. The extras (lettuce, tomato, onions, pickled) are thoughtfully cut and layered. The bacon is always crispy-crunchy and stays that way. I see they close earlier now so take note of that. I wish them the best during these times. I will try and make the drive out more often to support a staple in the heart of Chino's warehousing area. read more

Great Sandwiches! My husband and I both ordered the Turkey, bacon & avocado. His on wheat bread and mine on a roll. My bread roll was so soft and delicious and my husband loved his sandwich too. Tasty meats, fresh produce, nice chunky cut pickles, fresh breads and I love shredded lettuce on my sandwich! Add salt & vinegar chips and ice tea and my taste buds are happy. The only negative was that there was only one little lonely piece of bacon on the sandwich. It needs at least one more piece and then it's perfect. The place was really quiet on Saturday afternoon (only one other couple). It's a spacious place, with minimal decor, and very clean. I've been wanting to try this place so so long now and was finally able to make it in here. Menu is HUGE - lots to choose from. My son got the meatball and I got the ham, avocado, and Swiss. I love mom and pop spots that do that.. like finding a diamond in the rough.. Okay, but what is up with the really really dim lighting?
