Portuguese sausage patty with eggs.

Portuguese sausage patty and eggs is what I ordered. Very good! Your choice of beans or potatoes. They will bring you two pieces of French bread with real butter. Anyone looking for a morning cocktail they have a full bar. Bloody mary? Yes please. Good service. Nice ladies operating the business. Seating is tables or bar top. Open Mon- Fri.

This is a surprising place. Small building dry dark and no windows. Inside the friendliest waitress you could meet. She brought out toast with butter and hot sauce. She next instructed us to put the hot sauce on the buttered toast. This was a first to me but it was delicious! We ordered the basque breakfast which included Serrano ham, sausage, bacon, eggs and potatoes. It was enough for my husband and me to share. The potatoes could've used a little seasoning but truly a satisfying meal.

A must try pancakes

On a Monday morning made a stop at this place. Yummy food and great service. Only open till 3pm, but definitely didn't disappoint. Bread butter and salsa is my favorite. If you haven't tried this staple in chino it's a must. Claudia and staff are amazing they make sure you are satisfied before leaving. I can eat here every day if I could. I will return soon.

Another much needed visit to this delicious & delightful place in Chino! Claudia was super sweet as usual & we throughly enjoyed our breakfast. We decided to try the Bloody Mary's; they didn't disappoint! So happy to see this place hasn't changed & is still a chino staple in our community!

I came here to use their truck scale that is also owned and used outside the restaurant. I didn't know they had a restaurant too until I drove by. They do close at 3pm. The younger woman took my order, I tried their Breakfast steak ($17) and got their iced tea to go. For their iced tea, they gave it by half liter bottles. The breakfast steak can come with sides of refried beans, country potatoes, and eggs to your liking. They also give out a small appetizer of toasted bread with butter. They do have salsa and hot salsa that they make as well. The spicy salsa goes well with the eggs and steak. The steak was tender and cooked to my liking. The owner also gave out lollipops to customers too. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

This little cafe is honestly a very nice place. I had initially passed it while I was looking for where it was but thankfully I found my way back. The ambiance in here is very cozy and welcoming, which made dining in here very enjoyable. The service was amazing as well, we had the younger server greet and take care of us while we dined, and she was very nice and made sure we were doing alright. And of course the food not only looked amazing it was delicious and very worth the price. I'd definitely recommend coming here as they have very many options to choose from when it comes to breakfast and lunch. A hidden gem here that I will definitely be visiting again :)

Huge delicious breakfast burritos! The inside does remind me of a dive bar, but the staff were so friendly and the food is amazing!

I really came for the Quesobirria tacos I ordered the combo with 3 tacos and rice and beans. Also got a regular drink that did not come with the combo. Total was around $25 which kinda crazy but I understand price for meat has gotten higher so restaurants still need to make a profit. They had three salsa this I have to say was the only downside was that none of them were actually spicy at all. I'm not sure if the one I had was the habanero one that's what it was labeled, but it did not taste nor look like habanero salsa so perhaps they just didn't have that one at the bar. Once I got my plate, it looked great Every taco had a very good portion of meat inside they were nice and seasoned. The meat was not even remotely dry. It was nice and tender and juicy. Tacos were by far the best ones I've had in this area. Their rice and beans were good as well. All in all, I definitely will be coming back. Also, I love that they have outdoor seating.

We got sat immediately, I went to the bar and checked w the bartender and she was equipped to make my new drink, the "New York Sour!" I ordered the wings, the carne en su jugo for my food. The wings were like chili lime flavored, it wasn't bad but not for me. The chicken wings were cooked really well, it would be dope if they did like mole wings or maybe like a pepita lime dry rub, the wings were there, I just wish they had more flavor options. The carne en su jugo was very good, I love frijoles, I'm a frijolero for real and it hit all the right spots for me. I rolled my corn tortillas up and I felt like I was home again. THE WAITRESS THAT ATTENDED TO US WAS THE BEST WAITRESS I'VE HAD IN THE WHOLE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. I can't recall her name but she was just the best with service and recommendations. She had to step away for a few minutes and she handed us off to another waiter, but the crazy part??? She came back! She saw our meal out to the end and handled her business. When it was time to pay the bill she had everyone separated by seat numbers, so that process was really stress free. Exceptional service 100/10. I also really like the photographer in the restaurant deal. I usually have only seen that in the club but it works well at the restaurant too. My only wish is that they offered a digital sale of the photos. We took some cool photos with our work group but we HAD to buy the physical copy and because we fly, it's hard to store those kinds of things. Amazing job! Visit here if you're thinking about it.

First, there is a photographer who insisted taking pictures of us, two at a time, with poses she insisted we do. When we tell her no, she continues to push for us to do it. Then she develops the pictures and put them in picture frames in front of us asking us to buy them. I really don't appreciate being sold extra "services" at a restaurant. I came to have a meal with coworkers, not to be sold extra stuff so the restaurant can make some more money. And when we ordered extra food to-go separately (we had separate checks), the waiter put all our food in one bag and didn't tell us. These were two identical burritos, but they put one in a plastic to-go box, and the other only wrapped with paper. When we told them these were for separate orders, the waitress brought over a paper bag for me to separate out my burrito. It just doesn't make sense why two identical orders should be done differently.

The restaurant was rented out for a few hours to host an event for my family. Everything was done with elegance and class; it was such a pleasure to have booked this restaurant. A special thank you to the owners, managers, and staff who made this a beautiful experience. Thank you also to our server, Jose, who without a doubt would be the reason for many of us returning. This was my first time here with my family, but definitely not my last. Only con: limited parking in front; but it is so worth finding a parking spot. They put much effort into this place. I really appreciate the ambiance; it was a pleasant one. Highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't regret it. If I can offer what item to try, it would be either the bowel, birriaqueso tacos, or burrito amor. Hands down BEST MEXICAN RESTAURANT IN CHINO HILLS! (Sorry didn't get pictures) next time

We waited for a table while the hostess was seated at the table next to where we were standing. They had one waitress covering the handful of patrons which led to long waits for everything. We ordered Camarones a la Diabla and the taquito combo. They screwed up and gave my wife flautas instead. I got medium spiciness for the shrimp but there was no spice. After I ordered more food because of the portions this place provides. The food portions are like a cross between kindergarten and a fancy restaurant. The food portions offer more plate than food and the rice comes in the shape of whatever scoop was used. After ordering more food, the waitress then told me that she should've let me know that what I ordered wasn't very popular because of the size.... Because there are only like 8 small shrimp. Beyond the problem with the portions, the taste wasn't very good. It's definitely an upgrade to Taco Bell... but consistent with Mexican food in a primarily Caucasian neighborhood. After messing up the order, they then forgot a drink I'd ordered. The restaurant was quieter than Kalaveras, which they replaced. It was much quieter and didn't have the club feel.

They should've left well enough alone when it used to be an Irish pub same owner I believe and for whatever reason they decided to go with this Mexican Cantina that was just never full of people or really caught on. The prior Irish pub used to have some music and dancing I can't remember maybe on Thursdays or something and it was pretty popular so why they made the change I don't know but now it's permanently closed. Let's get something in here that's well liked and tolerated by everybody that can last a few years instead of every other year there's something new struggling to make it go. Their street tacos and food platters weren't bad and the beer was always cold, it was a quiet place to hide out but I guess that was its downfall sometimes you could be the only one in there or two or three other people and that won't pay the bills in a location that's known for high rent.

We were excited to support the spot, but this experience was pretty disappointing. Reliable hours would make a huge difference.
