This is the perfect spot for anyone who loves seafood! They also have other offerings as well when it comes to food options, but the seafood is incredible. They do have some indoor tables here, but the main event is their outdoor bar & seating, so I would recommend coming here when the weather is nice. The bar is a lot of fun, but does have very limited seating, so many people were crowding and standing around the bar waiting to take a seat as soon as one opened. I did not see any drink offerings that I liked on the menu, however the bartender was super friendly and was able to spike a non-alcoholic drink for me which was lovely! The outdoor tables are right on the water, but anywhere you are outside has an amazing view. We ordered the calamari appetizer which was incredible! For dinner we ordered the Grilled Swordfish & the Captains Platter and they were both amazing - everything cooked & seasoned perfectly! My one thing keeping this review from a full 5 stars was the service - our waitress did rush us from the second we sat down until we left which seemed unnecessary since there were many other open tables and there was not a wait. Any other servers I came across were pretty rude to me as well. Although, the bartender we had while we were sitting at the bar was so kind & helpful so she did not fall into that category of rude service. Myself and a friend of mine went to Hampton beach for the day, and he tried to take me to one of those crab shacks that serve mostly fried, dried out food. This place, was NOT like those places :) We embarked on a search to find something other than the typical beach clam shacks and I stumbled upon this little gem, and we decided to go for it. It's a little tricky to find if you're not actively looking for it, but there are a couple of signs leading you to a glorious seafood heaven. The food is fresh, and the location is stellar. We ate our lunch on the porch, which was bulit over the water, and you could see the water running under you as you ate. The view was nice, the atmosphere laid back, and the perfect place to enjoy a meal after a hot day at the beach. We ordered the crab cakes with lobster sauce appetizer and literally, I wanted to lick the plate clean. The sauce was creamy and you could taste the lobster in it. The crab was meaty and fresh, and served with lemon it was to die for. For our main meal, I got a lobster roll, which came with fries and cole slaw. The lobster roll itself was pretty basic, but it had a lot of large chunks of meat in it, and it was only lightly mayo'd, so you could still taste the lobster. The ratio was just right, as was the proportions. The fries and coleslaw was pretty basic, but with some salt and pepper, were delicious. My friend ordered the fried scallops. Again, it came with your standard fries and coleslaw, but the fried scallops were moist and lightly fried, which made for a great meal. They were properly cooked and served with tarter sauce. He was able to get his fried food fix, but the quality of the food didn't have to suffer! As far as service goes, our waitress was prompt, friendly, and greeted us with a smile and good humor. She remained attentive to us even as business started to get busier. I will definitely be back to try out the other menu items! read more

The Tuna Striker isn't for everybody. It's fairly informal in many ways. There might be someone to seat you or you might have to work that out by yourself. There might be a menu handy or you might need to ask for one. The chairs don't all match. The bar stools don't all match. Some drinks come in glasses. Some really terrific rum drinks come in jars with handles. They cried out for seconds and thirds. It's about the ambiance. You're indoors or out on a porch overlooking the inlet, in a bar that looks and feels like it's in Jamaica or Antigua except for the accents. It's comfortable. The service is casual but friendly in a way that makes you feel at home. You know you will be taken care of. If there is an issue (we haven't had one), it will be resolved with a smile. Stick to the basics in terms of food and you'll be happy. Skip the onion rings, which the chef hasn't quite figured out yet. Several fish dishes were just great. The price is right. We came back and you probably will too. read more

My daughter, who is leaving for college tomorrow, called ahead to arrange for 9 of us. The restaurant said not a problem and there was no wait. We arrived to find that we were being seated at 2 separate tables with 2 separate servers. This was after a 40 minute wait. The kids ordered 10 minutes before we saw our server. The owner informed us that they don't allow putting 2 tables together, as a policy. OK so why let someone call ahead for a party of 9? She said "we accept parties of 9, but we don't treat it like a party of 9." ????. Our elderly grandparents drove an hour from MA, but were not permitted to be seated with the kids. Plenty of places would sit 9 but Tuna Striker does not. I wish they mentioned that on the phone. My daughter, who chose the restaurant was also celebrating her birthday. Not a great send off or birthday celebration. Weak weak weak to have us in like that. Never going back and will discourage anyone from going there. Poor management of a special occasion. read more

Can't wait for summer..Missing your Tuna Ceaser salad made with grilled romaine, sauteed onions, warm dressing & garlic bread instead of crutons!! The tuna is always in a different shape and the color is so vibrant. Not the typical frozen pink triangle most restaurants use. Definitely some of the freshest Seafood around. This is our favorite spot in the Hampton area. The atmosphere is perfect, the service is great, the food is delicious and it's very family friendly! Today we started off with the steamers and they were very good. I ordered the pan seared ahi tuna for my meal and my husband had the lobster pie and they were both delicious. The kids meals even come with a chocolate pudding which is always a hit with the kids! We were driving through on our way home from Maine and we had to stop in. Wonderful ambiance right on Seabrook Harbor. Every guest sits outside, there is indoor seating but it is just used as a waiting area. The service is always great, with nice friendly waitresses. The people are very friendly too. We always have fish, sometimes the ahi tuna, sometimes the shrimp or scallops. For appetizers we have either mussels or onion righting so, both of which are excellent. The food is always cooked well, the serving sizes are good but not outrageously big. Two small criticism. The swordfish is always, and I mean always, overcooked. I do not recommend that dish,. They do not have olive oil. I'm not a big seafood person, so I like to wait until I'm at the ocean to eat it. I ate at this place once last year and the food was good. The food this second time didn't even come close. The salad is weird, they give it to you in chunks and make you cut it yourself. The steamers and clam chowder (a must for me) were mediocre, I wasn't able to finish either. The clam chowder was a lot better the last time. The best item was the buffalo chicken basket. The service was also horrible. What a great location for a small restaurant like this. The restaurant is right on the water with a great view of the sunset. Every single member of the staff was busy and working nonstop which was great to see especially in the heat of warm summer days. It's a bit out of the way but definitely worth the drive. The place was packed when we got there and we had to wait almost an hour for a table. However, the time passed quickly as we walked on the pier and then had a beer (good selection, by the way). The food and service were excellent! The lobster pie was fantastic. My son ordered the swordfish, which was grilled to perfection. The youngest got haddock, which was also very good. The only poor meal was my daughter's burger, which she ordered well-done and it was charred black. But this isn't a burger joint, it's a seafood place and they are great at it. We go here at least once a year while on vacation. The food is always very good. The cocktails are creative and fun and super tasty. The staff is friendly helpful and have a great sense of humor. They seem like they are actually having a lot of fun. We had lunch there today 4 adults and 2 kids cost about $100 with tip. We sat inside at the high tops because it was a little busy on the deck and we were a party of six. Sitting there we watched lots of locals coming in, which is always a good sign. The service was good, Sam was quick and gave us the right amount of attention. The food was good..we had a vegetarian, a meat eater and four seafood eaters who all got different meals. The ambience and view are a solid 5 stars. The service rates a 4. The fried clams in the clam basket were very good but there weren't very many. We finally made it to Tuna Striker Pub today after much anticipation, it wasn't the worst fried clams and Shrimp I've ever had BUT it wasn't the best either. Clams were small which I didn't mind but we're very chewy, the Shrimp was greasy and I ordered a Mai Tai for $11. all juice? Our waitress was not rememberable at all. My family (2 kids were with us) decided to visit the tuna striker pub, Seabrook, NH to have a nice early dinner on Saturday.Before leaving MA we called the pub 2 times to inquire of the wait time, they told us it might take 1.5hrs to get seated- we thought 1hr drive from MA to NH would compensate for the wait time and it would be worth it.The rep didn't offer any other ways to reserve, so when we arrived around 3:30pm, we were told the wait time will be 3 hrs before we get seated (waitlist was texted to me with wait time of 176 minutes). My husband, I, and 2 kids decided to wait it out as the weather was perfect so 3 hrs wait didn't seem that long.The restaurant did not have Or offer any outside seating, people were scattered all over the parking lot, near the water sitting on rocks/floor which was not ideal.The waitress was running around offering Guests drinks(To buy) which was fine, but the snacks were NOT offered. Almost 3 hrs later, around 7:30pm our turn came up (text link said 0 min. remaining) to be seated. I thought maybe we will be called within 10-15 min. of our 176 minute wait time however, that wasn't the case. My husband came up to the hostess 2xtimes asked when we can sit, they didn't care or seemed to be concerned. Finally at 8:15pm I spoke to manager, Marsha/Marcia who was so disrespectful, rude, didn't explain what the problem was, gave me an attitude, and said that they'll sit us whenever they want. At 8:30pm we finally got seated, I lost my appetite, my kids were starving- we ordered for kids only.I asked the waitresses to collect their tip(paid them in cash over 20% each in tips), I asked to speak with Marsha/manager/monster, she came, I expressed my concern about 5 hr wait time, mentioned that something should be done and corrected, she got pissed off, took my cash, then threw it back at me & on the table, said "dinner is on me and get the fuck out". I collected my cash quietly walked out of the restaurant.I was humiliated, embarrassed, disrespected. The worst experience I have EVER encountered in my life. Will NEVER go there and will make sure all my friends, family, acquaintances do not set foot there. The Manager must attend customer service classes to understand how to deal with customers in any setting.I would like her to be fired for her un-human, cowardly, disrespectful demeanor.The business owners must have precise & accurate plan for future seating and be present on site to address issues like these, as clearly the staff are not knowledgeable or adequate to handle their job. read more

My husband and I are fairly new to Seabrook. We recently discovered this restaurant and love it here. The atmosphere is great and informal. We like to sit outdoors on a nice day and really haven't found a place that has this plus great food and atmosphere. The seafood is fresh and tasty. I tried the baked scallops and the fish tacos. I would order both again. My husband had fish and chips then the baked haddock which he enjoyed. The prices are reasonable and vary so you can find a dinner at a lower or higher price. Beach was packed, had originally planned to go to the Sea Katch or Brown's but no place to park due to it being summer and fireworks night at Hampton Beach. What a lucky coincidence. Plenty of parking at this off the beaten track restaurant. Still had to wait 35 minutes but it was worth the wait. Had a cocktail outside watching the sunset while we waited and the food was awesome. Ordered the crab cake appetizer and it was like something from a gourmet restaurant. Served topped with greens and red peppers with aioli sauce. Scrumptious! Best crab cake I have ever had!! Don't hesitate to try this "clearly local" gem of a restaurant! Stumbled upon it and we were so happy! Food was great, drinks fantastic, staff so helpful & welcoming! Fish tacos were delish! Rest of the clan had a variety of twin lobsters, fried clams, huge lobster roll! Everyone was very happy with their meal. The Dockside Rum punch, along with the "Not Your Father's Rootbeer" made the night all that more enjoyable. If I could give this place 10+ I would and I am not an easy person to please. It is well worth the ride from Portsmouth especially considering the outstanding scenic ride along the 1A coast highway. The location here is quite pretty being that it sits on the left side of the road towards Hampton beach.. sitting on the deck was definitely a nice change. The chowder was very good but as for the rest of my meal I got a little mislead. I ordered the clam bake which on the menu said it was a lobster,steamers,corn, and potatoes. Once it arrived to the table I was in absolute disgust there was so much garlic on it that it overtook the flavor of everything. I tried to tell our waitress that it was quite repulsive but she basically told me that that's the way they make it? Definitely not a way to treat your guests.
