This doctor is my 4th pain management doctor. I have been to plenty of other doctors that have…read moretried to make a customer out of me. Yes, waiting can be a bit hard in the office. The staff is friendly and the reason he runs behind is because he is so thorough with each patient. He does what he can to help you whenever he can. Also, he is the first doctor to ever actually listen to my issues and let me know that I'm not just some crazy person who is making herself feel pain or whatever. He didn't give me more medication than I should take. Years I had a doctor prescribing so much medication that I actually had (minor but scary) respiratory depression which then caused a panic attack, which they then prescribed Xanax for. Dr Nguyen doesn't actually want you on medication if he can find better ways to get you feeling better. Physical therapy, anything.... he isn't creating customers. He's helping people and doing what is right as a professional. He actually gave me hope when I was running out of it with my pain. I went from entirely excessive amounts of medications years ago to a mostly manageable pain level (everyone had their days) in comparison because he was willing to listen and help.

It can be difficult to get in with him because he is so booked but it is worth it. Working in the healthcare field myself, it's rare to find a doctor that isn't all about coding/billing. Their staff is always very friendly as well and deserves recognition! I've had time where I needed a prescription on the fly and both the staff and Dr. Pham have been accommodating. As a new patient, I had to fill out several forms but it went very quickly since I filled everything out on their ipad. The office is nice and spacious and the staff is friendly. They start by taking your vitals in a little side room, which is actually open to the public and can be seen from the waiting area, which I thought was a little weird. It's not like I was undressed or anything at that point, but just the fact that people can watch you stand on the scale and have your blood pressure taken feels like it should be more private. After that I was taken to an exam room to wait but was told they were waiting for another room to open up for the doctor to see me. I waited for about 15 minutes and then they moved me to the exam room right next door, which apparently was my "official" exam room. I then waited again, and finally the doctor came. To be fair, she apologized for making me wait and said that she was exceptionally busy that day. My overall impression of Dr. Quy is that she knows her stuff and listens well, despite being in a hurry. I had some knee pain and she did a quick physical exam and quickly came to the same conclusion as what I had suspected. The whole process is pretty easy, called the office to book a physical with additional vaccinations that I needed for school. They got me in pretty quick and the process with insurance was a breeze- thanks to the amazing front desk! Barbara and Co Kim are usually the ones who help me and make everything so effortlessly for the patients. The whole facility is nice, clean and well-kept. They also have an in-house lab room where they process your labs and immunizations inside the clinic so you don't have wait in those ridiculous lines at Labcorp. Very up to date clinic! I felt like I was screaming and no one could hear me. I finally gave up and switched to Dr. Tu Thuc, and it was the best decision I could've made. He actually sat with me, listened to what I was saying, and helped me figure out what I needed. After months of getting nowhere, he guided me to the right tests and the right care.
