I frequent this establishment often... My go to is the lemon pepper chicken wings!!! For my kids they love the hot honey lemon pepper wings, fries and the drinks every time it's a hit no matter noon - night they are very consistent and they have the sweetest and most respectful staff! I haven't had any other chicken in the area yet that even compares to this location. As I was driving to the window I saw the cheesecake menu and asked if he could add one to the order, he said cause I was smiling he gave it to me free of charge . Tunis used to be a special weekend outing for me and my granddaughter -- we always looked forward to their fish and shrimp. I'm a seafood lover, so that says a lot! But after about three years away, I went back to the Blanding Blvd location and couldn't believe the change. The fish was tiny and over-breaded, and the shrimp tasted frozen and overcooked. I've drive by here many times and never really thought to stop, today that changed. It took me a little time to decide what to get (their menu doesn't really seem to have a theme regarding what food they serve. I opted to get the Gyro and fries (they also had a gyro and wings combo? ). The meal was under $10 and a really good amount of food for the money. The gyro could have had a bit more tzatziki sauce on it but was overall very good. The fries were lightly seasoned and cooked perfectly. This place is amazing! I ordered gizzards with fries and my son ordered shrimp, calamari with fries. Their food was extremely fresh, well seasoned and the portion was more than I could eat. Ordered Gyro on pita, chicken gizzards, macaroni bites and orange pineapple mango drink. Reasons why i didn't care for it: 1. The wait was a bit too long. 2. They did not.tell me my total at the speaker 3. They did not give me a receipt. 4. The gyro on pita was very bland. 5. This was my 1st time trying chicken gizzards, they tasted fine, but i guess i am not a fan of gizzards because of the tough texture 6. The drink was not very flavorful 7. As this is not too far from our home, and we pass it at least once a day, we've meant to stop by and give them a try. As our favorite gyro place closed last year, we're always on the lookout for a good replacement. We ordered gyros with fries. This is either a walk-up window or drive-thru only spot. We chose to park and walk-up. You can watch your food being prepared through the small window at the front. I was a little dismayed by the tangle of wiring right inside the kitchen, but it was no where near the food area. The gyro meat had good flavor, but I did find it was quite greasy. Their tzatziki sauce was quite good, just the right amount of tang and flavor. There is limited outside seating, and some of the cement benches are missing actual tops. If they fixed these it would make it much easier to enjoy your food right after ordering. We noticed some people just pulled around and ate in their car. read more

I've lived in Orange Park for years, and never stopped to try this place. Well, with all the recent power outages in the evening time, we decided to try this place out. SO GLAD WE DID. It's amazing. We haven't had anything that was bad. The burgers are great, the gyros are amazing (look at the amount of meat they put on there!!!!), Mac and cheese bites were (just) alright, the jalapeño poppers are so good, and the ribeye philly was out of this world. There's no inside dining room but if you're liking the weather, you can sit outside at one of the circular tables located in the parking lot. They have a lot on the menu so you should be able to find something for anyone in your party. The food wasn't spectacular but it was good and freshly cooked. They have chicken livers and gizzards. I love livers and gizzards. I tried the livers and those were on point. The wings were nice sized. The cheese fries were great. My Daughter and Fiancé loved their food but I wasn't impressed by my burger because the bottom bun was hard. I loathe hard and/or tough bread. We wanted something close by to eat around 9 or so on a Friday night and in that regard, Tunis served its purpose. read more

We are pretty regular customers at Tuni's, usually ordering once a week or so. Even with GrubHub, the food is usually hot, crispy and the orders are always correct. Friday evening was a very different story. Food was hot, order was correct, but the fries were disgusting. Some had a GRAYish color, and they had a decidedly "sour" smell. Like an old rotting potato. They were really terrible. The chicken had a decidedly "old grease" taste to it. The okra which is usually hot and crispy and delicious was soggy and very greasy. Don't know if we will order again. I've had food from here before and it was good. I'd been craving a gyro and my boyfriend wanted a Philly cheese steak. To start I wasn't told there was an upcharge for kurly-q fries instead of their regular fries, but they're the same price on their side menu so the upcharge didn't make sense to me. I wasn't offered a price to change a side to coleslaw, but told to get a side and it saves money. No discount was given for getting a drink, which their menu states. I went through the drive-thru and waited 20 minutes just to have to park and go go up to the window and tell them they forgot the coleslaw. The girl didn't apologize and seemed annoyed. My fries weren't cooked fully and overseasoned. My gyro had chunks of red onion on it that I pulled off. I'm not sure we'll come back again. My boyfriend took his Philly to eat at work and he hasn't told me his opinion yet. For all the raves they receive I really feel like they fell short on delivering quality food. Edit to add my boyfriend's review. The Philly fell severely short of what it should have been, Metro Diner has an amazing Philly and the coleslaw was soggy and sour. Dude ! They got the chicken gizzard recipe on lock down ! I love this place and eat here 3-4 times a week for lunch bc the food is fresh , consistently tasty and great service. The Greek salad is great and has lots of peppers and feta with black olives . Get the house made hot sauce ( got to ask for it ) and try it on the gizzards . Best in town ! read more
