Arriving a bit after the lunch rush, I was pleased to be immediately seated at a large booth with no one else nearby. This was pretty cool in the COVID days but I hope that doesn't mean that they don't have enough business. I was pleasantly served by a lovely waitress who took my drink order and then my food order. My boneless chicken wings arrived about 15 minutes later, obviously cooked fresh as they were quite hot. Crunchy outside and soft inside, the sauce was spicy and delicious. The chicken pieces were just a bit bigger than bite-sized and ten of them was enough for a good meal. My main problem here was the sticky table that had not been cleaned properly. Love to go here for cold beer and wings. The wings are always cooked crispy and are a good size. The service can be hit or miss at times. The Victory Lane Wings are my favorite as I am traditional but my wife lives the Florida Girl and Georgia Girl flavors. The Southwest Egg Rolls are probably the best I have had and are always hot and fresh. The beer is always cold and pairs well with the wings. The downside was the uncertainty on beer availability and specials. The suggestions from the staff was great, nothing specific but a good explanation of the menu and options. Tried new local place with my other half . We absolutely es this place . The food was amazing taste test the sauce they spaced everyone out nicely for social distances. However the place needs to be updated it's very old school. The vibe wasn't there the waitress seems as if she just didn't want to be there . The wings with the dry rub were the only wings cooked crispy. And dry rub? Nope...they sprinkled the seasoning on them in the serving platter. The wings in sauce weren't fully cooked and were just thrown in sauce. We ended up bringing our wings home and putting them in the oven to get them properly cooked! I'm wary of being one of those people who shows up with a short amount of time before closing. Luckily, I checked with the waitress before seating myself, and she said there was plenty of time to still order. I ordered some Smoky Mountain Gold wings, fries, and a sweet tea while enjoying my book. For later at night, there were still quite a few people here. My waitress was dealing with a particularly large and difficult group, aside from me. I daresay she was relieved to close out the night with such a low maintenance customer. Compared to the locations on San Juan and Wells Road, I love this spot. The latter locations are rather run down and haven't seen renovations/updates in quite sometime. However, the newer locations that keep popping up are sharp and clean as a whistle. The only drawback for this locale is the high/rush hour traffic on Blanding.
