An incredible dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious--every dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. You can truly appreciate the creativity, skill, and attention to detail that Chef Chen brings to each course. Every bite was memorable, and we enjoyed the meal immensely. Some of the dishes reminded me of the dishes I had at Eleven Madison. My favorite was the crab noodles and the scallop dumplings. A well-deserved reputation and a restaurant I would happily return to. Highly recommended!

Great food and twist on some classic dishes. The amuse bouche scallion puffs was such a great twist on my favorite dish (scallion pancake)! Don't forget to try the dessert - the chinese beignets was a fun twist on the classic fried buns (with condensed milk) dessert.

We had a good experience at Tuome. While we waited for our dishes, we enjoyed puffs complements from the chef. Snow crab pasta - wow, 10/10. The noodles were perfectly Al dente and I love how much crab was in our dish. High recommend! Pig for two - the pork is super crispy and juicy however the meat at the bottom was just a tad dry. The noodles were delicious and very savory. Again I love how the noodles were served el dente. And the salad was amazing and gave the dish freshness. I just wished it came with more salad to cut the richness and savoriness of the pot and noodles Dessert - very good. I love how the ice cream bowl came straight from the freezer and helped keep its cold crisp flavor. It's a make your own ice cream sandwich so you could make it how you want it. We had cut our bread in half and made 4 sandwich bites. It was very delicious The next next to us ordered the dim sum dish and it looked amazing. We'll be back next time to try that !

10/10 would recommend! I was in town for a quick work trip and decided to grab a reservation. This was also my first time solo dining at a nicer restaurant - s/o to the staff for making it so enjoyable! Ordered: egg, snow crab, and Chinese donut for dessert (plus the welcome dish) Highlights: all were delightful. The welcome dish was similar to pani puri but with scallion pancake and ricotta (more like an everythjng bagel) - super fun to eat. Egg - I've been craving deviled eggs and never had them fried! The flavors and execution was chefs kiss. Snow crab - surprised I was able to finish it but the flavor was rich, noodles were cooked to perfection (not too soft or hard). I wish I had bread or something to savor the sauce Chinese donut & ice cream - I asked my server to surprise me between the banana pudding and Chinese donuts. So glad she gave me the donut. It came with three little buns, a scoop of ice cream with a little red bean, honey citron spread, and a caramel sauce. Will def try this at home bc the citron as a spread was genius and so homey.

A cozy Michelin spot offering some of their signatures in the $60 RW 3-course! - - - - - - - - - ~ Scallion pancake puff (complimentary) ~ Some of the most unique amuse-bouche! The puff is very airy and crispy, so delicious with the everything seasoning and cream cheese! ~ Deviled eggs ~ [Rating: 4.5 / 5] Soft-boiled, battered & fried golden, drizzled w/ crispy chili oil, so much better than the classic! ~ Chicken liver ~ [Rating: 5 / 5] Ultra-smooth mousse w/ maple drizzle to balance the rich, savory flavor of the liver! The toasted milk bread is crunchy yet fluffy, perfect pairing! ~ Snow crab noodles ~ [Rating: 5 / 5] OBSESSED! Miso butter is creamy yet light, letting the sweetness of the snow crab shine through. Noodles are really thick & chewy, I love it! ~ Chicken ~ [Rating: 4 / 5] Cooked 2 ways: fried chicken thigh is juicy & crunchy, breast is tender w/ crisp golden skin. Seasoning is minimal, simple yet delicious! The Chinese porridge is a tad bit too salty though... ~ Chocolate mousse ~ [Rating: 3.75 / 5] Mousse is airy & fluffy, but not very chocolatey. Some sponge + hazelnuts help, but halfway through it feels one-note... ~ Banana ~ [Rating: 3 / 5] Flavour is very bland, it's just a bowl of lightly sweetened cream and bananas, no tart/crunch, and the goat's milk caramel is non existent. Bit disappointed :( - - - - - - - - - Overall Rating: 4.5 Will I be back? Yes, I really enjoyed the appetisers and main courses! Want to try their crispy pork too!!

Tuome has been on my list for a few months and it definitely lived up to my expectations. Cuisine is Chinese inspired with interesting flavor combinations that aren't traditional, but taste amazing. For starters we went with the octopus, taro puff, and the scallop dumplings. The octopus was crispy and the whipped butter pairing was delicious. The taro puff is a bit more neutral flavor-wise, I'd probably skip it on my next visit. I loved the scallop dumplings. Such good flavor on the filling. Not sure if the foie gras added to the dish a ton but it was cooked well so I'll take it. For mains we did the halibut and the snow crab noodles. They're vague on the descriptions for these ( "Cambodian curry" is very open ended) but wow delicious. The halibut is a coconut curry and the snow crab noodles sauce is super rich and flavorful. We decided to get dessert since everything tasted amazing so far and the beignets were so cute. We made little ice cream sandwiches. Service was great and I love the lighting. Will be back for sure soon.

We came here for restaurant week. It was not busy when we arrived at opening and we were seated immediately. The restaurant is dimly lit and cozy. The service was friendly and attentive for the most part. It did get busy later in the evening, and my water was empty for awhile before being refilled. They gave us scallion puffs with cream cheese and everything seasoning which was a nice complimentary amuse bouche. The squash with scallop was my favorite as it was unique and had a lot of components that worked well together. The snow crab noodle had a great texture and a good portion of snow crab. The chocolate mousse was only okay, and neither my friend or I finished it. The bathroom was really small and cramped. Overall definitely worth it for restaurant week and I would come back!

Updating my review to say as a recurrent diner here (i come here at least 2 times a year), the food, service and ambiance continues to be top tier! I was thrilled to see that they brought back the chicken liver mousse as an app for restaurant week because it's SOOO GOOD! They need to bring it back to the original menu! Had my usual "Egg" and of course, still delicious. The snow crab continues to be a dish that I'll want on my death bed. And the dessert???? Wow. Blew me away. The chocolate is mousse, honey comb, chocolate cake pieces and hazelnut and it was so light but delicious. If you're a chocolate lover, this is for you. The "banana" dessert, which was a "tart", goat's milk caramel and almond and honestly, it reminded me of a banana pudding or those banana marshmallow pies that you get as a kid. It was perfect with fresh banana slices in it. I couldn't finish it because i was so full from my apps and entrees. Again, i cannot tell you how much i love this restaurant and i want everyone to come and experience it!

Came here as a party of 2 in May of 2024. I love how dimly lit the restaurant was and it really enhanced my atmosphere at the bar. The Scallion Puffs are on the house and is definitely one of the best on the house starters that I ever had. The eggs and scallop appetizers were excellent teasers to our main dishes. Both were bite sized, packed a surprising amount of flavor, and left us wanting more. The mains are on the smaller size. I got the Lamb while my friend got the Snow Crab. Both were like enlarged appetizers. Each were extremely tasty but still left us wanting a bit more. The Beignets were a cute, pleasant finisher. Overall, the experience and dishes were spectacular. Big eaters will be asking for larger portions, but I will definitely come back for the special occasion.

Dishes were good but not great and ambience was very crowded. Expected a little more from a Michelin starred restaurant, especially given the price point. For example, the crispy pork dish was reminiscent of the classic HK crispy pork, except they changed out the usual cut of pork for a saucier version, which felt too heavy against the already oily and crisp skin. The lamb chops were good but also not too different from the lamb chops I can make at home (and less juicy too).

This restaurant is clearly overhyped. Service: terrible! From the sour greeting to actual wait staff rushed and rude service. Everything was haphazard and sloppy. The space is rustic but the restaurant was freezing when I visited and although patrons complained, the staff didn't care. Food was subpar; certainly not Michelin worthy. I'm not sure how they got on the list but this was one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a Long time.

We visited Tuome (pronounced Taw-meh) on our wedding anniversary. The place is cozy with some feeling of sophistication. They do not impose a dress code, but do yourself a favor and show up dressed up; with the price you'll be paying, you might as well dress the part. We were seated on the left side of the entrance door for a table for two. I found the spot perfect for a date night; we have a bit of privacy with the rest of the diners. We started with a bottle of white wine from Portugal and ordered the dim sum tower. While waiting for it, we were served with an amuse bouche of ricotta poppy seed with round bread. It was a perfect start for our dinner. For the dim sum tower, it consisted of 4 pairs of different dim sum, mostly seafood. We particularly enjoyed the crispy lobster roll; it was also presented very nicely. Additionally there were scallop tarts, and shrimp crystal dumplings. For our main entree, we ordered the pig out, which is good for two people. It was crispy pork belly served with peanut noodles and a veggies salad with walnuts. They accommodated our request to change the dressing as we are not fans of walnuts. The pork belly was cooked to perfection, and the flavors complemented each other. The service here is impeccable. It was a perfect place for our wedding anniversary; we truly enjoyed our dinner here.

service 2/5 food 4/5 Overall enjoyed the food. The best thing was the free app at the beginning but everything was good. Snow crab could use more crab. The beignets were too oily but the sauces were amazing. however the service was bad. our waitress was extremely rude to us and made us so uncomfortably. we asked pretty reasonable questions about what was in a dish and if anything could be modified and she was immediately dismissive to us saying "she didn't know what was in the dish." When we asked for thoughts on which dish to pick, she gave us a huge amount of attitude and acted like we were stupid. I've never experienced so much rudeness and contempt from servers before. I understand everyone has off days so there's no need to be chipper, but this was just mean and made the start of our dinner so uncomfortable. Especially frustrating because of the expectations with the price point and michelin star. We still tipped 18% despite this awful service because I don't think everyone else deserves to be punished for 1 person's rudeness -- all the other workers were super nice and helpful.

The ambiance feels straight of the golden age, which is an aesthetic I'm certainly a sucker for. Even their robust cocktail menu fits the bill and is one of the prettiest menus I've ever had the joy of perusing. Staff was able to sit us a little bit ahead of our reservation which was also much appreciated. Wait staff was also very helpful and attentive, I don't think I've ever had my water glass so topped off! Starting off with cocktails, this place is a gin bar through and through and you'd be making a mistake if you didn't try one of their many options. I went with the 10,000 words, which you simply just give a spirit of your choice (I picked gin of course) and whether you antes) wanted your drink shaken or stirred and the bartender does the rest, so a bit of a surprise! I wound up with their version of The Last Word which was delightfully citrusy but I was hoping I'd wind up with something a little more adventurous app things considered. My girlfriend got the blackberry G&T, which was not only very pleasing to look at but delicious to boot. For food, we started with splitting some zucchini blossoms and beef cheek bao buns (both come in portions of 3). Both were tasty, but I love a good bao bun and these were so light and pillowy, I could have just went for an order of those for my main course. For the entree I went for the roasted half chicken, perhaps the most unassuming choice on the menu but this was maybe the best roast chicken I've ever had. Prepared perfectly, cooked to perfection, excellent portion size, and the kicker of it all was the stunning gravy that I was tempted to lick my plate for. Chicken is very easy to screw up, and they nailed it on all fronts here. My girlfriend went for the Valerie Signature burger with white cheddar and this thing did not mess around! A very rich patty, cooked to her temperature of choice served alongside some garlic truffle fries that made an American classic feel just a little more elevated. Our experience was delightful and I'd love to comeback here again, especially to check out more of the cocktail menu and soak in more of that golden age aura the place gives.
