DO NOT PURCHASE OR SERVICE HERE! I brought in my 2024 Cadillac XT4 for a new battery and was told it was not covered under warranty--even though my vehicle has fewer than 50,000 miles. They tried to charge me over $400 for a battery with no warranty. I ended up buying a battery elsewhere and contacted Cadillac directly, who confirmed that my battery should have been covered under warranty. Only after Cadillac reached out to the dealership did Turan call me back to say, "Your battery was actually covered." They clearly knew this all along and tried to take advantage of me. Went in with a high mileage 2020 Colorado for a front end alignment with a 0800 Hrs appointment. I was 15 minutes early but was not called back to service until 0900 Hrs to have the Colorado entered into service. Fine. But two hours later I'm told the alignment will not occur because ball joint are worn and quoted a big price for repairs. Well with 200K miles, the truck is not worth the repairs so I let them know, no repairs are authorized. I'm then told I'm going to be billed 168 dollars for the diagnostic fee but I didn't ask for a diagnostic I asked for a front end alignment which I never received. After some back and forth the diagnostic fee is removed and I'm only going to be billed 1/2 the cost of a Front end alignment. Fine. Then I'm taken to the pay office to pay but this is wrong because I'm using My. Chevy reward points. I left Turan Foley after 4 hours of the scheduled appointment with no services being performed and My.Chevy points billed for the non-work. Oh, dealership you need to crack down on your Service Agents talking garbage about your store policy while customers are present. I was embarrassed by what I was hearing. I had my truck towed there for a starter replacement under extended warranty. initially told it is an 8 hour job, then told 11 hour job, ultimately took 3 weeks, but was told after week 1 that the starter was complete and they were looking into a service bulletin on the transmission(i requested that inspection). At third week I called because they failed in communication and the service rep (Jason) stated they hadn't finished the starter til just now, after he had previously told me otherwise. He kept saying i need a torque converter but the transmission never had been inspected by this point. It has been excuse after excuse and lie after lie with this man specifically. Excuses get old, I wanted a straight shooter, but I got someone trying to milk the warranty for everything they could, the transmission never was looked at and im now 1 month to the day of them having it for that 8 hour job of a starter because Jason kept coming up with made up problems to get more money out of the warranty and keep me out of my vehicle longer. I finally told him to not touch my transmission then he made up some story that a previous mechanic in the past ad crossed some wires and now the truck wont start so they have to investigate and fix that and to confirm his lie, he had me follow him to talk to the technician in person. The tech wasn't at work yet, which worked in my favor, I spoke with the supervisor over service and he went out to the truck and had a technician crank my truck, it fired right up, Jason flat out lied to my face, I dont trust him and because of that, I dont trust Turan Foley. I told them to get my truck put back together and im taking it today and yall will never touch anything else on any of my vehicles again. - very unsavory business practices to abuse warranty coverages, that really should be investigated. If I could give a minus for the dealership I would. First off they lie. A lot. From one day to the next I got different answers for a purchased vehicle. I was looking for a new Chevy Bolt. They had a car which I was told would qualify as a new vehicle. I told Marcello I had a new car loan and it had to be a new car. He said the car was a 'return' and it would qualify. I told him I was looking to get the EV credit for taxes and although he said I needed to talk to a tax pro I told him the credit was why I was buying the car. I check the IRS website based on his 'new' car response and found that I did qualify. It wasn't until after the purchase that it was revealed it was a used car. I started immediately trying to fix the situation with little or no help from the dealership. I had to get Chevy involved just to get a response. Shawn Douglas, who only got on the phone with me because chevy called asked me "I don't know what your problem is'. I have been lied to Shawn and now my reason for buying the car has cost me more than you can imagine. They say they email but they don't. It depends on who you talk to as to what answer you get. Example when I started calling about the credit and what the dealership needed to file, no one knew what I was talking about. However Mr Douglas says the filing with the IRS is automatic. Where was that information in September Shawn? When asking about whether the car qualifies, no one knew where to go or what to look for. Mr Douglas again has the website up and regurgitates the information. They knew the car didn't qualify but purposed delayed that information so I wouldn't bring the car back. There were other dealerships who knew the information and willing gave me the qualifications. They wanted to sell this car and lied to do it. Do not buy from this dealership. I bought a Cadillac car from Turan Foley back in June 2024. The salesperson and customer sales rep told my wife and I to bring the car back in November 2024 for a free oil change and rotating of our tires. When we call to confirm our appointment the car service department said they could not find our appointment in their system. We then made a new appointment and when we showed up to have car service for the free oil change and rotating or our car tires, they could not find the free service they have promise. I will never bring my car to be service to place that doesn't honor their promises to their customers. read more

WARNING!!!!! STAY AWAY FROM THE TURAN -FOLEY SERVICE DEPARTMENT located in Gulfport, MS!!!!! So, my wife and I had an appointment on Friday, March 7th, 2023, to have my 2017 Buick Regal serviced to include a new OEM battery, new AC Delco spark plugs, full synthetic engine oil and filter change, engine oil filter and cabin air filter replacement. My wife and I brought our car to the dealership on Friday morning before 9:00 a.m. to have the car serviced. At the time my wife and I dropped the car off for service, we emphasized to Mr. Jason who was filling in for Mr. Timmy that our car is in perfect condition (no leaks whatsoever on the car, and interior in perfect condition) and we would like the technician to wear gloves when working in the car inside to preclude greasy stains on the interior and inside of the car. Well, after a couple of hours Mr. Timmy my Service Advisor texted me and informed me that the technician recommended a coolant transfer, brake fluid replacement and transmission fluid replacement. All for an additional $705.00 after taxes. So, at around 5:00 p.m. on March 7th, 2023, Mr. Timmy texted me and said the car is ready. Once we arrived at the dealership, Mr. Timmy went over the itemized service invoice with me and informed me that all of the service items had been performed and that he and the service manager hand selected a technician that would take extra good care of our vehicle and wear gloves when working inside the car and would wipe down any oil residue or stains that were created, especially since it is in such great condition. So, I paid the cashier and took the car home. The next day, my son took our car to detail it and discovered that the engine oil had been overfilled by approximately 1.5 quarts and the coolant light in the instrument panel illuminated since the coolant was approximately 2 quarts low!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!! Well, now my car that had absolutely nothing wrong with it and certainly had no leaks at all, has engine oil all under the car, the frame of the car and all down the front of the engine coming from the crankshaft main seal area!!!!! What kind of crappy, shoddy work is this???? I paid a total including taxes of $1211.00 for this shoddy, inept and incompetent work????? Also, the plastic engine cover had fresh oil all over it and the steering wheel had grease stains all around it as well. I have a multitude of photos to corroborate EVERYTHING that this crappy ass dealership did to my poor car!!!!! I will NEVER go back to this dealership for absolutely NOTHING!!!! By the way, I contacted Mr. Jason and explained to him what happened and he said he would talk to the technician and some other folks at the dealership and would call me right back. He never called me back!!! I left a voicemail message with the TURAN-Foley service manager to call me back and he NEVER contacted me at all!!!!! The purpose of an appointment is to get your service at least in the proximity of the scheduled time. I Brought my truck here for a scheduled, simple oil change and tire rotation. Ensured to arrive 15 minutes before my appointment and didn't even get acknowledged while standing in the service center for 30 minutes. It is now 3 hours after my scheduled appointment time and the simple oil change is still not done. No need to blame the few workers that are here. The company should hire/schedule more workers and ensure appointment times are met at least close to scheduled time. Very unhappy with this place. Very unhappy with my experience. read more

I had my new 2022 Tahoe serviced for the first time and in the collision center for rear-end damage. The repair took 4 weeks and after picking it up I understood why. Someone had used my car that had less than 7k miles on it and put more than 400 miles on it without my consent! the GM was questioned about this and offered no explanation. He claimed that there was a week during the 4 weeks where they could not account for my vehicle. They also claimed that the cameras would not allow them to go back that far to see who had taken my vehicle. The collision repair was strictly cosmetic so there was no need for any extensive test drive. I was offered no apology or compensation. I would never bring my vehicle here for anything else. They are completely untrustworthy. read more

I took a 2011 GMC Acadia in to determine if there was an issue with the battery, alternator or starter. Autozone had not been able to make a determination after their testing. I had removed the battery cover in the floorboard to charge the battery and make it available for testing at Autozone. I did not replace the cover before going to Turan Foley. The battery was determined to be the issue (3 yo battery with 60% life left). I agreed to let them replace the battery - agreed to a price I knew was higher than what it would have cost if I did it myself. When my car was returned to me the batter cover was still off and the passenger seat was left fully forward. These are little things but show lack of attention to customer service. I expect better from businesses that rely on excellent customer service to keep/grow their clients. read more

We would have given full stars, but we are having issues with the paint on our new Malibu (obviously a defect in workmanship/materials) and it seems as though we were being given the run-around when we asked about getting someone to look at (and, ultimately, no one did because they said we would have to schedule an appointment with the body shop. The body shop is in the same building, so why couldn't the service writer simply come out and look at the car and make us an appointment for a later date for the repairs? Instead, we have to make an appointment to have it looked at then make an appointment to have it repaired. We have also had an ongoing issue with a very annoying buzzing noise inside the cabin and every time we inquire about getting it looked at- it's always the same thing- make an appointment to make an appointment. That is inmefficiency at a governmental level. Other than that- we have been very happy with our car and the services we have received thus far. Turan-Foley took good care of us on our trade-in and new car purchase and it pains us to leave a negative review, but the issue detailed above could be remedied easily by someone simply walking from one room to another. The car was already in the shop for a service (oil change and tire rotation), take an extra five minutes when the mechanics are done and look at the paint bubbling up. Then, schedule us an appointment to do the warranty repairs- simple, right?? I did go back...after the drivers side floor got soaked from the leaky window seal during a hard rain. I'm not sure what they did but that window never did seal well again. I have since sold that car, and the whistling window was a deduction from the sale price. While I was hanging out in the waiting area, I strolled into the show room and looked at some more new Corvettes. Talked to two of the sales staff at different points. They still know very little about these sports cars, specifically the performance options concerning drivetrain/engine and their particular maintenance requirements. This review is on behalf of my mother who has been a returning customer to the Turan Foley service center located at 11123 Hwy 49 N Gulfport, MS. Today she took her Cadillac Escalade to the service center at around 8am to have her steering wheel horn to be fixed. After a couple of hours, the service advisor (Mark Fountain) called and informed her that the technician recommended other services like an overpriced oil change and new tires along with the steering wheel horn needing to be replaced as well. At this time my father was called on 3-way and to hear about the recommendation of other services at that time my parents decided to let them replace the steering wheel horn and do an oil change if my Mother Escalade would be ready for pick up the same day. She was reassured that even with the additional recommended services that her vehicle would be ready. However, that was not the case because of no status update communication between the service center staff and my parents when it got later in the afternoon my mother called the service center and asked when will her vehicle would be ready and what time was the driver from Turan Foley coming to pick her back up to bring her back to the service center. However, she was told that her vehicle would not be ready because the staff was let off early at 4pm. This cause a lot of stress on my mother and the service rep had no empathy or compassion towards my mother or my father when he called to inquire about why the vehicle would not be ready. The service rep was extremely rude and nasty, even at one point telling my father "to do what he have to do". The way Turan Foley service center treated my parents their customers is TOTALLY unacceptable and inexplicable and it by far the worst overall experience my parents have received. I am very disappointed, and I HIGHLY recommend not to give this rude dealership your business! I feel like a personal apologize should be given to my parents for being treat the way they have. They have lost a loyal and returning customer for sure after this recent ordeal. read more

Went five times with the same two issues. (After having one to Mandel three times) Every-time they said, "we can't find a problem". They gave me some bs about how key fobs aren't expected to always work especially after 10 feet away from the car and they can't fix the tpmsystem bc the diagnostic doesn't show an error. Took my car to an out of state dealership and in less than 40 minutes got a call that both problems were caused by the same malfunctioning part, it was under warranty, they ordered it and could install it in an hour soon as it came in. The work was done and now the car works as it should. Imagine that. Competent people who researched and did there job fixed the issue! And my key fobs work from about 80 feet away now! They were kind but clearly didn't know how to do their research and solve an issue. read more

Poor Service, Slow, Expensive. I needed my ignition worked on so I dropped the car off on a Saturday. I called in on Monday to check in on it and the guy said his paperwork showed it was done and gone. He promised to look into it. Once they found my car it took another week, parts had to be ordered twice, and they charged me for 4 hours labor on a simple job that should have taken less than 2 hours. Even simply picking up the car was a chore. I waited to finally hear I was in the wrong line then after I paid the woman just looked at me like I should obviously know what was next. I was expecting her to hand me a set of keys so I asked. She said, oh no, just go out front and one of the guys in white shirts will bring your car to you. So I go out front and wait till someone finally asks if I've been helped and then he finally tells me I need to take my receipt to yet another person and then they will have somebody bring my car around. The service light came on due to the fact that they didn't place the oil cap on tight. Due to the fact, I was told that it was creating an air vacuum thus the light came on. I also drove across the country (2012 mi) leaking oil everywhere. Im thankful it was just a loose oil cap and nothing more serious. The staff at Turan-Foley Chevrolet gave me the breakdown on what type of truck would do the job, why it was the proper truck then let me make up my mind. The patiently showed me every truck on the lot that fit my needs. Once I'd settled on a 2011 Silverado 2500HD we sat down with the invoice. I left happy and all through the transaction I got an up close demonstration of Southern hospitality. They knew I was going to be registering the truck in California. The paperwork was perfect making that chore easy. I'd go as far to say that if I wanted a new Chevy today I'd fly from California to Gulfport and drive it home. read more

I bought my son's truck with a black widow package on it from Turan Foley. The package was on it when we test drove it and purchased. At 62,000 miles, the transmission died. GM does not warranty any vehicles that has any package on it. We were told the dealership would have to handle replacement. What transmission goes out at that few miles?! Contacted the dealership and was told they only warranty up to 60K so we would have to pay for a transmission replacement on the truck and that they don't have time to fool with it. GM also informed us that any new transmission will also not be covered by them since the dealership altered the calibration. A truck that is only 5 years old and basically no longer runs. Turan Foley told us nothing about the GM voided warranty and has no interest in helping. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. And, certainly do not by anything with their SCA package or any other. They will lie and tell you it is covered. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. Contact GM directly before purchasing a vehicle from them. read more

Scheduled an oil change for my 10 month old vehicle and almost two hours later it was completed. I had to inquire after an hour and 30 minutes what the hold up was. The gentleman was disinterested in my frustration. The ladies that welcomed me when I arrived as the person I was told to ask for when making the appointment Dwayne, was gone to lunch. Why someone would be assigned to me during his SCHEDULED lunch break is beyond me. I was told 45 min to one hour would be what it would take. Simple oil change. my elderly grandpa had his 2015 buick regal towed to turan foley TWICE. once he was told nothing was wrong with the car and he drove it home only for it to break down again the next day. the second time he was charged $150 and then $300 to fix multiple problems on the vehicle. the next day the check engine light came on and when we took it to be diagnosed, it came back having problems with everything we had just paid to have fixed. so we brought it BACK and they are now saying that we need to pay $5000 for a new transmission. not only have we wasted money having it towed back and forth multiple times but they are refusing to refund us for the money for not fixing our car. NEVER bring your vehicle here because they will do NOTHING to help you and you will end up being hundreds of dollars less than where you started with no solutions to any of the problems. i can't believe it's even legal to treat customers this way and i hope they go out of business very soon. read more

Worst dealership I have ever used. Bought a brand new Silverado black widow truck from them. Being a mechanic when I got home I checked the fluids and the front differential oil was contaminated. Straight white water in it. They said I have to make an appointment to fix it and we're backed up for 2 weeks. So I had it done by normal shop. The next week I called and told them the alignment was off and it had pulled to the left, and a bad vibration from around 62 to about 76 mph. After 4 different trips to the shop and about 3 weeks of time in the shop I took it to another Chevy dealer where they said the alignment was set with a tie out instead of in and front tire were chewed up on the outside of the tread. After a road force balance the showed that 2 of the tires were out of round and couldn't be balanced. Turan Foley said they don't cover tires. It's a wear and tear item. So I never took it back till this week. Got a call from them saying I still had a free oil change. So I took it in and they said I had none left. So I paid for the oil change since it needed it and I was there. That was on Friday. I made an appointment for Tuesday at 7am to have my seat looked at. Dropped it off Monday night and got told 3 different time over the week that they guarantee it's next in line. Well today (Saturday) 30 minutes before close I call and was told it still hasn't been looked at. So I ask to have it brought around so I can come get it. When I get there the service writer see me coming and takes off to the shop like I couldn't see her and I'm told my keys are at the service desk. No sorry no explanation just here's your keys. So if I bought a $75,000 truck and get treated this way. I feel sorry for the little guy. read more
