This little place is right on the side of the road-kind of odd looking. Cool little outside patio, small inside area. I had 1 carne asado, pastor and mahi mahi taco. They were all delicious but the carne asada was amazing! My hubby had the heart of palm salad with chicken and he absolutely loved it. They also had an salsa bar with authentic salsa. Visiting a friend at the Naples Community Hospital and we decided to go out for some fresh air and dinner. We saw this trendy Taco joint standing out like a sore thumb and giving heavy California vibes ( FYI: I have never been to California, I have only seen it on Television lol). Anywho, the venue is open, airy and accommodate dine in with outdoor seating ( I don't recall seeing any indoor seating but that could have been the white claws that I had to go with my dinner). Staff is friendly and very helpful... Food was absolutely delicious!!! We ordered Quesadilla, Mexican style corn, fish tacos and for dessert we had churros with a Fudge dipping sauce.... I have to first apologize for being a taco snob. I avoided this place assuming it was some trendy millennial taco joint with no flavor; I was wrong. Turco taco has deliciously seasoned tacos you won't find anywhere else. I was pleasantly surprised with the Mexican corn. It was roasted to perfection with gooey cheese and fresh chips. The al pastor taco was crispy and topped with pickled onions. The chicken taco was basted in a yummy chipotle crema. Their house salsa really stood out. It wasn't very spicy but loaded with flavor. You know, I've read some reviews here. The negative ones are not justified at all. I don't get it. The food here is excellent! This is not a 99 cent taco place. Go to Taco Bell for that. You'll pay more than 99 cents to begin with and it won't be anywhere near a Turco Taco. News flash, your tastebuds are damaged! These are Gourmet tacos and the flavors are superb. Yummy! I had the heart of palm salad with steak on top. It was just fabulous. The cilantro lime dressing they put on it was out of this world. Honestly it was the best salad I've had in a long time. The tacos were good, but not worth the $4 or so (depending on selection of meat) - certainly no better, and in some cases not as good as authentic street tacos you can get for half the price elsewhere without the cool decor of the place. For $4 or more, you get a tiny, good tasting taco you'll finish in 2-4 bites, and be left realizing that you still have to pay for chips. Pay for drinks. And not even enough food for a single person appetizer. I'm giving it 3 stars only due to the quality of the food being pretty good and the employees seem nice (if slightly flustered - but I can understand that as they just opened and trying to get into a groove) but it would rank as 1 or 2 stars for value. I won't be back here unless they decrease the price or add chips or a drink or double the amount of food for the price paid. This is a pretty easy pass for me. read more

Highly enjoyed my meal. It was refreshing to have healthy options for my favorite cuisine. I loved the veggie taco and Tinga con Pollo taco, also tasted the hearts of palm salad which was a really tasty organic salad. Make sure you check out the salsa station, it's a game changer. I think for having hormone and antibiotic free meats and organic salads the prices were very reasonable. The outside seating is really nice with all the greenery. Easily the best tacos in town! Salads are all organic and seriously delicious! I highly recommend the heart of palm salad with shrimp or the steak.The meat is all antibiotic and hormone free which is definitely something that makes the food taste so much cleaner/ healthier. I don't understand the reviews that say the food is too expensive... it's literally maybe a dollar more than chipotle, but the quality of the food at Turco is leaps and bounds above theirs. You definitely get what you pay for at Turco... high quality service, top notch food, and a cool atmosphere with awesome music. My only problem with Turco Taco is deciding what to get, as everything sounds absolutely delicious. Eating at Turco Taco is worth every penny. I definitely recommend eating here! :) read more

I stopped in on 6/28 and the restaurant was still doing a soft open. DECOR/APPEARANCE: It is nicely decorated inside but tight on space, its hard to know where to stand in line and then where to wait for your food. Everyone was very nice and worked their hardest to get your food out. It was difficult to sit at the high tops as the chairs were all very close together and it was too hot to sit in the shaded area outside. They have a small area for drinks and their salsa bar. Again, not the best setup but understandable for the small space inside. THE FOOD: It is very hard to find good, authentic Mexican food in Naples. The authentic flavor is present but at a cost! 4.25 for a carne asada taco and 3.75 for a chicken tinga one. Chips and salsa are not included (2.95 charge unless you want to use salsa from the bar without chips). The price of the tacos are fair but the size is not! I could eat the taco in 3-4 bites and after spending $8-9 I am still hungry. I could have opted for another tacos but then I would have been at $13 for a lunch not including a drink ($16?). The carne asada taco was DELICIOUS. Fresh meat, nicely pickled onions, and avocado sauce, YUM! I dipped my tacos in the house medium salsa from the salsa bar. The combination was amazing. The chicken tinga was also very flavorful with cabbage and cojita cheese. Drinks are expensive. They sell the Jarritos Mexican soda for $2.50.... I can get those at target for $0.89. WILL I BE BACK? Yes.... but not as often as I would like. I loved the food but the price is not within my budget for a quick lunch. It may be pricey due to the fact that is a mile within 5th ave, but I prefer other restaurants that offer more food or a better price. read more

**update if you have cross contamination issues or are very sensitive do not eat here. I have gotten sick twice now. Something has changed with them and I can't recommend that it's GF***Gluten free tacos are so good! I did have a reaction with the chips and I usually get glutened by cross contamination so while they are GF you should ask them if they are frying it in the same oil as their other items depending on which restaurant you are at (City or off Immokalee road). They can be a little messy so grab some napkins! read more
