Holy Moly, their cookies are fantastic! Picked up 3 of them on the way into town: Triple Choco Chip, S'mores, and M&M. Where to start, or better yet, where to start eating???? The cookies are large so snacking on them is a dangerous road to go down, but oh, so worth it! I left then on a plate on my counter and as the day went on the cookies started to disappear. Luckily I had family to help me, but these are great cookies! No pictures of the whole cookies because they were started on before I could grab my camera. They will be gone by bedtime, I'm sure. These have flavor, unlike some others that are just plain dough with little flavor except for the chips or m&ms. Every bite is great! read more

Cute, recently remodeled shop right on Pewaukee Lake. Very bright, welcoming, and airy inside. Fun and very tasty big cookies and cupcakes during the week plus donuts on the weekend. I've tried each of the breakfast bites and they are all very good. My favorite is the Ham & Cheese Danish. The coffee drinks (Anodyne Coffee) are robust, which I like. I had some of their non-coffee drinks this past summer and they were very refreshing on a hot day. Will definitely continue to stop in! read more

Went to Turkey & the Toad for the first time today after seeing a sidewalk sign advertising their frozen lemonade. That caught my attention, so I ordered one. My friend ordered a scotcheroo and a coffee. I watched the frozen lemonade being made, and it consisted of water, syrup from a refrigerated jug, a couple scoops of powder, and ice. Unfortunately, it tasted very artificial, more like frozen plastic than lemonade. I'd encourage the owner to consider using real lemons or more natural ingredients, as I think it would make a huge difference. My friend said the scotcheroo and coffee were good, but not particularly memorable. read more

This review is difficult and I want to come across with kindness. It's a WOW location, service is delightful. The bakery is so charming and cute. Everything looked amazing. I ordered two pastries that were breakfast style, and sadly when I left and went to eat them 5 min later realized they microwaved them. You can buy the MOST amazing pastry made with love and perfection and put it in the microwave and it's garbage. I am shocked a bakery would EVER do this. I took a nibble of each of the two and threw them away. Other pastries (cookie) were great. Seriously! What baker allows a microwave!?!? Stop doing this. Get an air fryer or just serve room temp and they would be great instead of in the garbage pail right outside your bakery. You've got a great place here ruined by 20 seconds of harm. read more

We went in on Saturday for donuts! The cinnamon roll was delicious. My daughter got the strawberry lemonade donut. It's fun how the flavors are always changing!! :) I would probably not get a latte again, but it was just personal preference, not my favorite. Very cute place right on the lake! read more

Beach bum bakery is truly one of thee best bakeries I've ever experienced, especially with the quality of baked goods. Everything is so fresh every time we go in. Was drawn in to this place by their Facebook posts - they seem to always have fun donut choices! We went this AM - the donut selection wasn't huge or anything special, but what we got was good! We got two long John's and a cinnamon roll. The cinnamon roll was so good - one of the best I've had! They had a ton of cupcake and cookie options, too! Those were more expensive than the donuts, too. It's right on the beach which was the perfect place to enjoy our donuts! The employee that helped us was very nice as well! read more

Beach Bum Bakery hit it out of the park again! They made a custom cake for my daughter's gender reveal party. Absolutely adorable! Winnie the Pooh theme. The filling was the reveal...raspberry filing...it's a girl. The cake was delicious! We will continue to use them for all of our custom needs. read more

I knew this was a new business in downtown Pewaukee. I had to visit to see what kind of tasty treats they have to offer. I love cookies. They have a nice selection of cookies, brownies and more. I was not disappointed. The friendly staff and delicious treats look wonderful which caused me to purchase a handful of items. After nibbling on just a few cookies, I'll be back again. The owner is very rude. Did not want to offer a refund. She wanted me to take the cake home with hair inside of it absolutely disgusting. She wanted the cake back. I am very disappointed in this bakery, very rude staff as well. I do not recommend if you want her inside your $400 cake. I had probably the best cookie I've ever had in my life here, and that includes the homemade molasses cookies my grandma makes. It was the S'mores cookie, please get it. On top of that, they have a bunch of other cookies, little personal pie things, and small bite desserts. Way better than the Chocolate Factory that's next door. Keep up the good work! read more

My wife and I were traveling through Wisconsin and stopped in Pewaukee village to admire the lake and noticed a bright and cheery bakery across the street. When we entered we were greeted pleasantly by the owner and we learned her name was Sarah. We were amazed at the selection of goodies and the wife chose a beautiful cherry turnover and I selected their special cookie called the kitchen sink. We took our treats and sat at the counter top in front of the window that looks out to the lake. We give this place 5 stars based on the clean,bright, cheerful decor, and the astonishing array of delicious goodies. We even found out that they do custom cakes for special occasions. When we ever travel this way again, we look forward to stopping in for more treats. read more
