We had sally bake our cakes for our wedding and all we have to say it WOW!! All evening all our guests were talking about how moist and delicious both of our flavors for our wedding cakes were! We had Salted caramel chocolate cake and a strawberry lemon cake, both were beautiful and just was we asked for! Thank you Sally and team!

Tracey, the owner of Sally's Sweet Shoppe, was so helpful when it came to deciding what dessert and how much we needed for our camp wedding. She took the time to get to know me and asked detailed question about our venue. The team at Sally's Sweet Shoppe created my dream wedding cake and also created a dessert table featuring 4 varieties of cakes: red velvet, chocolate with fudge filling, carrot and s'mores. The s'mores cake was an original creation for our wedding which was so thoughtful and creative. The guests loved the cakes. The cream cheese icings were out of this world coming from someone who usually isn't a big icing fan. Rob & I cannot wait to eat our cake topping. It teases me every time I open the freezer. I would highly recommend Sally's Sweet Shoppe for dessert at any event!

Best bakery ever! We got cake made here for my daughters 1st birthday and we were overly impressed! From the start Sally and her staff were so helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure we got exactly what we needed. The cake decorating turned out better then I was expecting and our guests couldn't stop raving about the cake! Thank you so much Sally and Staff! We will definitely be back!

WEDDING CAKE BAR----Sally's did a very professional and yummy cake bar for our wedding at Ten Chimneys in Genesee Depot. People still can't stop talking about the cake more than just about anything else at our wedding--seriously! We specifically ordered enough cake for everyone to have a LARGE piece. My favorite was lemon cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting, but we also had red velvet with buttercream frosting and chocolate cake with strawberry filling and creamcheese frosting. YUM! The extra mile is that we requested each cake be frosted differently, so we could tell the cakes apart and also have some texture / eye interest on the bar. They came and set everything up as well. Thanks Sally and friends!

One reason to be thankful for COVID 2019 - quarantine situation gives you the opportunity to try the many different local businesses! Cannot go wrong with this Kringle! Yum! Also- Sally is so sweet see what I did there? You feel like you've known her for years and I just met her! Make the trip, chocolate chip cookies are chewy and delish! I still need to try the chocolate scone... will update when I've tried it!

A photo of our cupcake set up! Awesome right?! Sally's delivered and set up the cupcakes too!

We ordered 3 different flavors of cupcakes for our wedding on 9/10/16. They were amazing! And all of our guests loved them too. Everything from consultation to delivery was easy and Sally was very helpful. Any questions I had throughout the process were answered quickly and professionally. She also made a small cutting cake for us last minute! I was glad she could accomodate our request and it was just what we wanted. The price was also reasonable (for 6 dozen of each flavor and the cutting cake). I will definitely return to Sally's for any future cake/cupcake/tasty treat needs!

Cute little place in Genesee Depot Wisconsin. Easy to find, couple of retro tables inside and a little table outside. Not a huge selection of baked goods but what we had was very good. We had warm chocolate chip cookies and a Ho-Ho cupcake.

Inside there are different seating areas, and even a fireplace with a couple of chairs. The door opened right to the outside, which can be a little chilly like today, when someone enters/exits. The inside reflects the name, Mercantile and Bean. There are unique items for sale, ranging from honey to candles to apparel items. For me, this space could have been better purposed for additional seating. But I get the idea that they offer what they consider "Artisanal" items for sale. Just not what I want in a coffee shop. Stopped in with a friend for some lunch. It was about half full, and there were mostly individuals or couple seated in the dining area. Got to order right away, and got friendly service the entire time. Got a London Fog Tea Latte, and they did a good job with my order (little vanilla, little lavender, and extra foam). They also left the tea bags, so that I might steep a little longer. Chose the Greek Salad, which was made up in the typical fashion, although this one had a bit of avocado (nice addition). The bakery case some unique items that you might not find in other places. I got a piece of Chai Masala Coffee Cake. It was moist, flavorful, and was a generous portion. It also had a nice brown sugar crunchy top. It was a good experience, but leaning more towards a Cafe and Merch shop, and less than a traditional coffee shop.

Food: Normally, I would get a London Fog Latte and a scone. They have both items, but because of their focus on healthy, organic, and local ingredients, I had to adjust my order and expectations. The London Fog Latte was made with oat milk and honey as the sweetener. The scones (and the rest of the bakery) are gluten-free. Both of these were different from what I would normally have, but they were very good. The London Fog was really well made. For oat milk, it had some very nice froth. The flavor and the temperature were good. The Pecan Maple Scone was also good. Like many gluten-free baked goods, it was more dense. They warmed it for me, and it was a delicious treat and a nice companion to the latte. Service: We received excellent service from the person helping us. We were the first ones there when they opened at 9:00. She was very helpful in explaining the café offerings and was clearly passionate about the mission. The London Fog is not on the regular menu, but they knew what it was and were happy to make it. They ensured we got everything we asked for: lattes in mugs, bakery items warmed, and food brought out to the table. Relaxed, helpful, and friendly service. Thanks, Elizabeth. Atmosphere: The place is bright and cheerful. The bee theme is present throughout the entire café, from the wall coverings to the small plates for beverages. Lots of nice light comes in through the front windows. There is plenty of seating for different-sized groups, with a choice of metal or upholstered chairs, or a couch for different levels of comfort and conversation. The entire visit had a nice vibe. I'm not quite ready to give up my flour and sugar, but I would have no trouble stopping in again.

They note that they feature fresh local organic goods, though the cold cuts displayed were Boars Head. I ordered a grilled cheese artichoke havarti sandwich, and it was tasty and not too heavy. Our sandwiches were accompanied by savory gherkins, which were delicious. You can enter via the front or back entrance. The cafe features an array of seating options like fun yellow comfy furniture and a children's table as well.

She was kind, patient and talkative. 5 stars Atmosphere: kind of a strip mall mext to a gas station. Clean inside and out. No seating inside. Beautiful, well displayed goods. Easy to find and parking is sufficient. 4 stars Baked goods: while not the best bakery i have been to (I have been to a few), this one had a very strong showing, especially for a very small town. I had a few things. 1. Small bite sized chocolate cake (don't remember the name). 5 stars. The best value and in a small package. Raspberry fold over. Fresh and light and tangy. I really enjoyed this one. 4.5 stars. Lemon bar was solid but not anything exceptional. 4 stars. Pecan sticky bun was also solid but a little dry for me. 4 stars. A coconut dish that looked like an ice cream scoop of coconut on a bed of dark chocolate. I wish it had a higher chocolate to coconut ratio...maybe dipped in chocolate instead of drizzle on top? Other than that, it was really good. 4.5 stars. My friend enjoyed his cinnamon roll and also loved the bite sized chocolate cake. 4.5 stars. Very well done.
