We were in the mood for some bakery treats and wanted to try out Greige. Early on a Saturday morning, they were not busy and we were able to order and get our items quick. We got a lemon meringue pie tart, chocolate croissant, cinnamon roll, and some macarons, and a tea. They were great to warm up the chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll! We got a variety of macarons, some of the more fun flavors included blue moon, cookies and cream, and Irish cream. We finished most of them after our visit and they were fantastic. There were many great bakery items, a variety of drinks, and some beautiful displays on the artful wedding cakes they do. Will have to be back to try some more! read more

Wow, that was a tasty breakfast! We saw this as we were walking to the event space the night before, and decided to venture down the block. The restaurant has a charcutier offer on the menu, with cocktails! Wow! Too bad I had to fly myself home, or I'd have tried some. It was breakfast so I had their Pepperoni Pizza Croissant, and a ham and cheese Croissant, as well as a cherry Danish. My wife had their Quiche Lorraine. All the food was very good. I had a 12 ounce orange juice, while my wife enjoyed their coffee. There were around 6 cherries in the Cherry Danish. The Pepperoni Pizza Croissant was very tasty, as was the ham and cheese. They were quick to serve us, and the food was warmed well and reasonably quickly. read more

Date of visit: July 6, 2025 Having stopped in here once before but not being in a position to try anything, I was excited for this outing but it was a bit of an uneven experience. Staff behind the counter was friendly but a bit overwhelmed at times even though there was another employee sitting at one of the tables in the cafe. When things got really hairy she would get up and help, but it took quite a bit for her to get to that point, to the detriment of the waiting customers. My cinnamon roll was good, with frosting that reminded me of Cinnabon (that's a compliment, by the way!), but it was unfortunately unevenly warmed with some cold spots throughout that really dampened my enjoyment. Next time I would take it home and heat it thoroughly. My husband shared his peanut butter cookie with me and that was a home run, soft and buttery! I also got a coffee and a mocha peppermint biscotti but sadly it was more about presentation than taste. I was hoping for the price that it would really make my coffee pop but it was a bit of a letdown. read more

Took our younger son to Greige for his birthday. Everything we ordered was bone dry - the macaroons, the opera cake, the raspberry torte... all of it tasted like it had been baked weeks ago. I had followed Gregor on Instagram for a bit and was excited when they shared just before Thanksgiving that they had some pies left. I popped in and got a latte and was excited to hear they had a pumpkin pie unclaimed! The shop itself has a very modern vibe, lots of natural light and highlights their very pretty looking patisserie. I will definitely be back to try more things in the future. The pie was good, not overly sweet, and we all agreed that the addition of the cookies to decorate the pie was a great touch. The crust itself was a bit tough, cutting through it took some effort. But, overall it was a good dessert and certainly was beautiful. I'm excited to try more goodies here in the future. read more

Greige does it again! A big thanks to them for creating treats for my baby shower that were the perfect added touch. I actually had no say in the planning of this party or ordering of food, but as soon as my mom pulled out the goodies to put on display, I knew they were from Greige Patisserie. I had mentioned my desire for a greenery vibe shower with plants and neutral colors, so when I saw the mini succulent cakes it truly brought a smile to my face... how freakin' cute!!! Not only were they photo-worthy, they were extremely tasty. I'm honestly not a cake person, and most definitely not a frosting person, but these changed my mind. Both the frosting and the cake itself were light and airy. Not overly dense and sweet like many cakes tend to be. I loved the lemony flavor of the sponge (*chefs kiss*). My husband and I were able to take over two of the left overs and continued to enjoy the sweet treat for days following! As if cake wasn't enough... baby-shower themed sugar cookies! That bakery smell! I've gone to the gym down below for a few years now and have to say, the armoma that comes thru the concrete is the best worst thing for someone who cannot resist baked goods. I've stopped in a few times to grab some goodies and have not been disapointed. The glass cases have such a super selection of cookies, cakes and other delectables. Delicious options here with so many different flavors. We haven't been to a bakery for a while so did end up getting about $50 worth of goods. 80% of it were delicious. Prices are on the higher end, some delicacies more worth it than others. Service clean and modern. Service was nice, friendly, helpful. No major complaints there. In terms of flavor, some pieces were overly sweet but this is personal preference. Lost in points is mostly for price. There is street parking. Will be back for sure if in the area. This is a cozy, clean, bright and quiet pastry shop which also serves Anodyne coffee (cold brew, hot brew and espresso drinks), teas, and wines. My first-time visit - I stopped by on a very snowy morning and immediately felt warmed up by the very friendly and smiley lady behind the pastry case. I went for the golden Gouda and Apple Scone that I saw on Instagram and it did not disappoint me - flaky outside and soft, flavorful inside (The lady warmed it up for me). I also got a Brie and Apricot Scone for next morning, but I could not resist it and just ate it later in that morning - delicious! Coffee - I am a heavy coffee drinker. I think the coffee here is pretty average - like not bad at all. They serve Anodyne beans and put two shots in their espresso drinks. I went for a small latte so that there is less milk - the drink is rich and smooth. Good enough. I also saw fancy cakes like Opera in their case. Will need to try them next time! read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. My fiancée and I came for a cake tasting. It was $125 for 5 "cakes". They were just two bigger cupcakes. So they made a whole batch, charged us for the whole batch, only gave us two, and sold the rest for profit. To say I am livid is an understatement. had they been honest that it was 2 cupcakes and not a full cake, I never would have paid for the tasting in the first place. It's deceitful and poor business practice. To top it off they were the driest most coarse cake we had ever tasted. Don't go here. Bad bad bad!!! a boxed mix would have been better and $125 could have covered a nice date or two. Save your money! read more

We ordered the fruit punch chai tea which let us pour the tea directly into aesthetically pleasing cups from a French press and it was pretty good. I do think I have had better french press tea at home from my friend but this isn't so bad. It was enough tea for the two of us. The warmed up chocolate chip cookie was good and thick with a nice crust and original melting chocolate chips inside which added to the flavor. To be honest, I have had better chocolate chip cookies that were warmer and thinner but this wasn't bad. The only problem was the price costing over $8 for the two of them ($4 each) which is a little pricey. Unfortunately, I am glad I tried it but if I'm not in the neighborhood, I don't know if I would try it again. read more

I stopped by this fantastic pastry shop for Yelpsgiving and was greeted by the amazing smells of all the pastries. They had a good amount of beautifully created pastries on display. It was fun just to look at the delicious goods and smells. I ordered coffee and had two shortbread cookies along with my Elite bag. I keep doing this. Greige Patisserie is a French inspired bakery located in Walkers Point. They offer cookies, macarons, cakes, and a variety of small pastries. To go along with their sweet desserts there is also freshly brewed coffee, tea, and espresso. I'm fortunate enough to a Yelp Elite and today I was gifted with some delicious coffee and sugar cookies. The warm, fresh, and flavorful cup of French pressed coffee complimented the delictably sweet sugar coffee quite well. I did eye up some of their other desserts and was intrigued enough that I think I'll stop in again the next time I'm in that part of town. I don't often review places outside my residential community but I must tell you about this little gem. I was invited here for a Corporate holiday event. I had a hard time finding the place because my GPS couldn't pinpoint the location but, I am soooooo glad I didn't give up. Once I found the bakery, I was rewarded with the best cup of coffee I've ever had and 2 cookies that were to die for. Coming from me, that means something. I don't like coffee and I adore sugar! I usually have to get the fancy coffee with caramel, whipped cream, chocolate, and anything else that will mask the taste of the coffee. Here, I actually drank a cup of regular coffee with just sugar and cream! I was slurping the cup like my mama never taught me any manners. Embarrassing! Then, there was the cookies with the Corporate logo on them. Usually, cookies made for an event are pretty gross! I was expecting a mouth full of chalky tasteless blah but ended up transported somewhere close to Nirvana!!! Oy! Let's just say! Í was impressed with this little bakery/coffee shop. This place is perfect to come to any time of the day! While their entire menu is available at all operating hours, the morning people can choose from their selection of coffee, tea, mimosas, or even whiskey cocktails (I'm not one to judge). They have delicious breakfast pastries as well, ranging from scones to biscotti. Cheese boards, glasses of wine, and a plethora of mouthwatering desserts in the display make it hard to have self control to not order everything. The cakes are moist and dense, the cookies are just the right amount of chewy and sweet...you just can't go wrong here. They also sell bottles of wine and some local canned food. I love coming here to study- it's quaint and never gets too loud. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable for the quality and the location. My husband and I wanted something sweet after dinner last Friday so we stopped in and ordered a vanilla macaron, a pistachio macaron, a banana butterscotch tart and a little pot of dirt cake to share, along with 2 coffees. A dessert/drinks place is filling a serious need in Milwaukee and in my life. Greige has so many delicious things that it was really hard to choose just a couple to share. We decided on the strawberry hibiscus tart and the raspberry Earl Grey petit gateau and both were delicious. I went last minute to pick up a small cake for my baby's half-birthday cake smash session. I didn't really have anything specific in mind and based on a recommendation from The Cake Lady, I went to Greige. I had already purchased confetti balloons in advance and I wasn't really going for any theme but when I got to Greige I was super excited to see a funfetti cake and beautiful yummy looking macarons! My mother in law wanted to try the tuxedo cake which is chocolate cake layer with cheesecake. I tried the opera cake and it was delicious! It was crunchy, with a robust dark chocolate flavor. The macarons were perfectly airy and the raspberry and lemon flavors were soooooo good. They were tart and you could taste the fresh fruity flavors. The staff was very friendly. We used the Greige Patisserie for our November 2023 wedding in Oconomowoc, WI. They did our personal cutting cake and dessert bar. We mainly communicated with Miranda, who was very responsive, professional and helpful. The dessert tasting appointment was really fun to try out some of the more popular treats. They delivered and set-up all the desserts on wedding day and it looked perfect. The cake was absolutely beautiful and exactly like the inspo pictures we shared. The dessert bar was a hit and we had multiple guests talking about how good all the treats were all weekend. I cannot in enough earnest tell you how much of a fulfilling experience Greige Patisserie provides! The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and approachable and it's obvious she puts her heart into her craft. The chocolate croissant (pan au chocolate for the bourgeoisie) is definitely my favorite. The pastry is light and flaky and oh so savory, while perfectly complemented by the semi sweetness from the chocolate. And finding out through casual conversation that all the pastries are baked morning of (by the owner, no less) so freshness is guaranteed! And the scones! Different flavors depending on which day you visit, and my palate prefers the savory to the sweet, but each time as delicious as the last! If you do come later in the day, they might not have the freshly baked items above available - baked every morning and fabulously appetizing, of course they'd run out. But they do have individual sized cakes as well as servings of generously sliced full cakes. I haven't had the chance to try them all, but the macaroons are so adorably crafted and delicious they're probably my favorite. Did I also mention they have coffee AND wine?! I will honestly admit I'm a snob in regard to both. (I was a barista for many years and my family has a winery in Sonoma, so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about). Apparently they have their own specialty blend of coffee from a local roasting company, and they make their own syrups! The wine selection is definitely well thought out and quite intelligently arranged. They offer pairings WITH the dessert no less, but the wine alone is just as satisfying. The owner and staff are so kind and immensely down to earth. It's always a pleasure conversing when I'm in for coffee and breakfast, or I'm passing by later on for wine and a macaroon/macaron (tomato/tomahto). They're just an another reason for me to visit and lighten my day a bit. Update: My boyfriend ordered a pretty birthday cake for me and we were excited to dig in with all of our families to celebrate my love of dessert. We grabbed thick slices and were then shocked with dry forkfuls of cake. Not good at all. I felt so bad he did this amazing and nice thing to have it turn out that way. I can't think of a worse cake I've had. Previously: Five stars for their delicious, delicious, makes-me-so-happy brunch board with cheeses, sausage, bacon, deviled eggs, jams and biscuits. So, so good! Friendly service to go with! As far as the treats I've tried: tasty macarons, they were quite chewy and hard at first but once they came to room temp they were the perfect consistency. Perhaps the cooler is too cold? Too bad you can't enjoy right away! Otherwise, very good and loved the fun flavors, great variety. The salty sweet potato-pretzel-chocolate chip cookie extravaganza? A yummy sweet 'n salty treat combo. 1 star for the cinnamon roll, huge disappointment here. Hard as a rock and so dry. While I was glad the icing wasn't sickeningly sweet, it had no sweetness at all, was nearly plain cream cheese on top. Bummer. Oh My Gracious!!!!! I think all three of our group agreed that if all cakes forever packed as much flavor and wonderful consistency and texture as the cakes at Greige, it would be a good life. I can't speak for the other baked goods, but the Princess Cake and the peanut butter chocolate cake were both amazing!!! It may be hard not to stop back by one more time before we leave town.... Absolutely loved this cute dessert spot! The idea is great since it has a fantastic variety of baked goods but also a cozy atmosphere.
