Even if you live a distance, this place is worth the trip and should be added to your weekly grocery markets. Their ad appears ion their face book page weekly. The only issue was the chaotic parking lot, pot holes and shopping carts that needed a wheel alignment but nothing to discourage you from coming inside for the fresh, priced right grocery...they have a small wine shop too.

There are even times when I will run out of milk or eggs mid-week, and find myself stopping here for those items rather than shopping closer to home. In the several years my family has been shopping here, I have only had one incident where I was charged x2 for an expensive cut of Parmiggiano reggiano cheese but it was corrected during my next visit. The Wegman's brand organic items like the milk, eggs, and dairy creamer leave nothing to be desired. Not to mention their bakery! An absolute gem. Who needs a Whole Foods, anyways? Certainly not I. This interaction occurred in a designated handicap parking space, occupied by a vehicle that did not display any handicap indicators, such as placards or specialized license plates. This vehicle remained in the handicap space for an extended period, exceeding 25 minutes.. Because I sat there and waited for 25 minutes and they were already holding up the spot when I got there. I find it ignorant and rude to hold up a handicap spot just to with somebody and have a cigarette . It's stunk . I am in closing a picture of the employee . And then leaving the store the cashier older lady missing teeth I don't know what her name was cuz her name tag was not on . She's very ignorant . I told her I needed to put in the phone number for the discount she seemed inconvenienced by that. Then when I was putting in my card I kept telling her it's saying that it was canceled. She raised her voice a little bit and told me it wasn't canceled it wants you to swipe it. I said well I didn't say that . She got very ignorant and rude about it . I don't understand if you don't like your job then leave. You chose that job somebody didn't force you to take your job at a grocery store. You chose that job you chose to work there. All I have to say the reason why I stopped there was because of the service was terrible and I see that is never going to be improved . They need to train their employees better

My purchase from the counter didn't have the same fresh taste, and to be honest the quality just wasn't there. In fact, it was pretty disgusting. I have not gone back since and today I see in the paper, various health code violations. Take better care of your establishment, take better care of your product, and I truly hope someday it returns to its former glory of top quality food, and top quality ingredients. The borough of Dunmore is better with Doma in it.
