I could not find 1 single car available to rent in that area that would allow me to rent the car in PA and return it in NJ, including 2 different Enterprise locations in that area. I ended up reserving a car at this Scranton Enterprise, but the corporate agent on the phone told me that I could NOT return the car the next day at the location in NJ, because even though they were open on Saturdays, they do not accept returns until Monday. Even though this sounded insane to me, I was forced to agree because I had no other options. I assumed the corporate office just wanted to bilk me for a 3 day rental because I was in a vulnerable position. Once I arrived at the Scranton location, I dealt with Salvatore,who immediately recognized that my forced 3-day rental made no sense, he adjusted it to 1 day and upgraded my vehicle. He was very nice, effective, and efficient. He apologized for my treatment,explained to me that it was not their office that made such outrageous restrictions on my rental,and got me on my way quickly. I was very happy and relieved at that point.

Typical uhaul rental... but I asked the associate the reason that uhaul charges 69 cents a mile. He…read moreresponded with "that's just how it's done" and "taxis charge by the mile" Now... I had already paid at this point and am not looking for a discount, I had wanted an explanation for the charge per mile... because the company made that decision not this specific associate but I was asking why customers pay per mile and also fill the gas tank. It seems like if they could charge extra for more than one person sitting in the vehicle they would. Anyway he told me that every company charges per mile. Do you think that if I was at another company I wouldn't ask the same thing? I had not disputed the money I already spent I thought customer service included answering questions. I left only to assume that uhaul values their trucks at 69 cents a mile for wear and tear. Again, not disputing any amount, just wondering how ridiculous that sounds.... uhaul as a company, 4 stars. This particular location and its associates, one star because uhaul should train them on company information and customer service. Not informative or helpful at all. It would be no different if a computer checked me in, explained the price and gave me the keys through a slot.

These guys call us the day before to let us know that they're going to close early on the day we're…read morepicking up our truck. We had to get up at 4AM in order to drive there from Boston on time. Then we get there, and they say, "Oops, we didn't get around to picking up your truck from our neighboring store. Now you have to drive half an hour out of your way to go get it." I mean, they ended up fixing the problem, but sheesh!

Rent a dumpster is Worse than terrible... Rudest man ever....i called to book.. saw the bad reviews…read morebut thought they were cheap.. So I called..I said to the guy.. so it would be fine for me to go to dump to see the dumpster being weighed? He said so rudely..."Go find someone else" which makes me think they have something to hide. And I did just that..I found someone else.... I called TRASH BROS and they were fantastic.. and they are a "YES "company... nothing was a problem... They brought dumpster same day and took out 2 refrigerators and 2 Air conditioners.. with no problem.. Lovely and dependable William and his partner...and also got another gig as my neighbor need to remove debris from his backyard.. and no problem for Trash Bros. They came back with pick up truck.
