On my left eye, it took three days before the blurring cleared up and after that I was so happy to see everything in high definition! For my right eye, after the surgery I could see very clearly and I was amazed that it was so instantaneous that I could see in high definition after surgery, although I had some swelling which gradually subsided. It's been about a month since my eye operation and implants, and I am thrilled that I could see so clearly and can drive again!!! I don't think I'll need glasses but I'll wait a little more as I'm sure my eyes are still adjusting. Thank you Dr Mandel and staff!

With medical eyedrops before and after the surgery, recovery was complete with no complication at all. I was nearsighted with stigmatism, wearing thick lens all my adult life. After the surgery, I have 20/20 vision and no longer need to wear glasses for driving. However, I do wear a pair of bifocals, primarily for reading. At my 6-month return check-up, Dr. Albrecht found some "stuff" as normal reactions to the operation (which didn't seem to bother me at all.) I had to go back to have them cleaned up by laser which took less than 5 minutes for each eye. I am very pleased with the overall result and the thoroughness of Dr. Albrecht.

Every call goes straight to voicemail with a message promising a return call, but that never happens (at least with our experience). Since January 5th, I have been trying to schedule a follow-up appointment for my mom after she missed her original appointment on 1/5/26 due to illness. My daughter and I have both called multiple times with no success in reaching a live person, and not a single call has been returned. I understand offices get busy, but completely ignoring patient's call is unacceptable. If you can't answer the phone, then at least be courteous and return calls. The lack of communication made me feel like they intentionally avoid answering, which is incredibly frustrating for a medical office where patients rely on timely care. This experience has been extremely disappointing and needs serious improvement.

Once I waited over an hour to see Dr Ting and was told he wasn't even there. Once I waited 2 hours and was told there were 4 people ahead of me. I walked out. I said never again. I gave it one more try and told the staff I will NOT wait more than an hour. The LAME staff told me the appointment wait is 1 1/2 hours. I walked out. If the doctor doesn't respect my time I don't respect him or anybody that knows him. I'm always on time for my appointments. I only do follow ups and lately the wait is unacceptable. Another time I was there and a couple of seniors were complaining that they had been waiting 3 hours. Some of those seniors had transportation services waiting for them. Dr Ting is the only doctor that makes you wait and wait and wait. I feel like he thinks us seniors don't deserve respect for our time. At my age, I have many doctors and I'm generally done in less than an hour!!!
