Saturday, Memorial Day weekend. A beautiful day to take a drive to find something to eat. Took myself to Cherry Hill to go to The Turning Point restaurant to get a late breakfast. I sat down outside to receive the nice weather that we got blessed with and a good meal. Emily was awesome with serving the food and drink I ordered. The food came out in a good time and it tasted great. And anyone who knows me know that if I get any food is bland, they will hear from me face to face. I really don't like to season my own food. I find it as an insult to person who cooked the food. So when I get freshly made food, I will get it made the right way. If it isn't made right the first time, the restaurant only get one more shot to get it right. I'm happy to say The Turning Point got it right on how I want my breakfast. They made me believer!!! The breakfast isn't the typical diner breakfast like much of this area has. It's an actual brunch spot! Finally! Just what Cherry Hill needed. Philly has tons, Cherry Hill had none. This is exactly why there was a 45 minute wait! This place had so much hustle and bustle. It was loud. Not a good place for a meeting or talk. There are mountains of highchairs, so it's perfect for families. There is a huge coffee bar, and they make all kinds of delicious coffee drinks. The service was attentive. I ordered lobster benedict. Mmm. My partner ordered a breakfast skillet. Both were delicious. The lobster meat wasn't lacking. The hollandaise sauce was buttery and perfect. The only things that could improve was the acoustics. I ordered coffee and eggs benedict. I asked for cream for the coffee. The cream barely colored the coffee. I asked if it was creamer and the waiter checked and said it was 2% milk as they were out of creamer. I could have soy milk if wanted. I told him I don't want the coffee then. The breakfast came and the eggs in all fairness were very good but the breakfast potatoes were old, hard and cold. I complained and the waiter claimed they make the potatoes up with 5 minutes of the order which was clearly BS. I do not recommend this place. read more

The atmosphere of this restaurant is very appealing, however if you'd like to drink hot water disguise this coffee this is the place you belong! I ordered the avocado toast which was very good my son ordered pancakes and bacon and the bacon was practically raw and had to be sent back to be cooked. I told the waiter to not give my husband his English muffin because he can't have gluten and there it was on the dish and then he took it off when I reminded him, the waiter that is but his hands.I also asked for egg whites with cheese on the side but was charged for nasty home fries and a horrible English muffin as well. I do not recommend this place as after the hot water disguise as coffee was replaced with the French press that too is hot water disguised as coffee. We are avid coffee drinker's so after our meal we went to Starbucks to get real coffee. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

Probably the most disappointing breakfast in the area. Lovely patio, nice staff, irredeemably awful food. Fatty bacon, cold undercooked potatoes, English muffin wasn't even toasted. This was a culinary disaster. Terribly disappointing. read more

I went here about two weeks ago with some friends for brunch. The food was off the charts. It was so good! I got Eggs Benedict. It was cooked perfectly. The only gripe I had was the wait was SO long. However, it is a new restaurant and the food is good. It was totally worth the wait. I'll definitely be returning here again. Their pancake selection looked so good. Got a table during Sunday brunch hours in maybe 20 minutes (not bad!). They have complimentary coffee for everyone waiting for a table, too. Kudos for having authentic maple syrup available and for a yummy frozen hot chocolate! Food is great as well. It's a good spot! read more

Don't bother! We did call ahead seating and still needed to wait a half hour. Once seated, we then had to wait and additional 40 minutes for our food. I was there once before and will not go back. Well well well. I wanted to like this place. Went here on a sunday with the girlfriend for brunch and there was a ten minute wait. Not bad. Checked the menu as I waited and it was lacking protien options in my opinion but not every is big on meat so go figure. After our wait time we were seated at a dirty table with the last patrons tip covered in sauce occupying our table. Classy. A stressed waitress gave us a weak greeting as she passed by. She left for a pack of cigarettes and didn't return. At least we didn't long enough for her to return. We did however wait so long that a neighboring table informed us that it was completely unacceptable. For someone else to notice was just insult to injury. Also their prices kinda suck. read more

It's been just a year since I have been here but my memory is still pretty good about our visit here. I'm going to keep this short and sweet. I enjoyed the French press coffee, this is the only thing I can't remember - the flavor we had. I ordered the cornbread French toast. Absolutely delicious! The serving size- small. My sister offered to share her home fries and breakfast meat with me. I was glad she did because I was still hungry. No one at my table raved about their food. So why the 4 stars? The flavor of the cornbread French toast was extremely good. I have not returned but I have been going back and forth in my head about returning just for the flavor of that meal. read more

I've only been here once. Granted this is a newer business so I know there are an abundance of people who want to try, this place is small. Even with that being said, my wait was very short to be seated. As breakfast is one of my favorite meals, i indulge in it. I must say, the food here was mediocre, and i was very disappointed. I had the Hawaiian Wheat french toast, and even with the sugar rum sauce that came with it, it seriously lacked flavor. Even my turkey sausage was delivered looking pale. I do however appreciate the variety of drinks they have to offer. My iced tea was the only thing i really enjoyed. It took forever for our food to be delievered, and our waitress could have been more attentive to us. It is worth going back for a try. read more

First time here Jan 7, for my birthday my girlfriend treated me to Brunch, I have to say that I will be back! The inside is very nice and colorful, gives a warm feeling, the smell of fresh coffee. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by a cheery hostess, we were seated in an instant and met by our waitress who was very nice and knowledgable about the menu. We started of by ordering the Costa Rican coffee, which came in a frensh press and we actually had a timer with it to let us know when to press it! I thought this was a really cool idea, and it really makes it stand out from other diners or restaurants. When it came to ordering our food, I was up in the air between the Hawaiian Wheat French Toast and the Lobsert Benedict, both of this looked and sounded amazing! My girlfrind ordered the Grande Huevos Rancheros, which in my opinion looked amazing and I know my girlfriend loved it, I tasted it and it was so fresh! When I came to ordering my food I was up in the air between the Lobster Benedict or the Hawaiian Wheat French Toast, what really made me like this place more was the fact that our waitress told me that I could get the Lobster Benedict and a piece of the French Toast! Very impressed with this place, particularly the menu (amazing) and the food. We ordered the fruit bruschetta (yum, what an awesome idea!) and the Popeye skillet and the Roadhouse sw. Great food, creative options! Couple areas of critique: it was FREEZING (every woman had a sweater on in July) and lack of ambiance. The latter could be easily remedied with some decent background music, and better lighting? Good brunch menu and a million coffee options, but the wait is so bad on the weekends, in both locations near us (Cherry Hill and Marlton) even when you call ahead that the whole experience suffers because of it. It's a nicely designed place and gets really busy around 10 AM so the call ahead is necessary. The menu was creative and different. I don't know if I was not looking close enough but couldn't find the sides section of the menu. We ordered the lobster quesadilla, corn bread French toast with a side of eggs, omelet and eggs Benedict. Food came out a little cold but was good. The lobster quesadilla had a lot of lobster meat. Cool little breakfast spot in Cherry Hill that my girlfriend talked me into going to. The place was pretty packed, but we got a table as soon as we got there luckily. Our waitress was really nice and made sure we had everything we needed. The food did take some time to come out, but that may of been due to it being busy. The food was really good though! Came here around 10:30 on a Sunday. Big mistake as the wait time was 30 minutes. But it was just me and my girlfriend so we grabbed two seats at the bar area. Zach, our bar guy, made these bomb ass Frozen hot chocolate drinks. I got the omelette which was bigger than expected. Great food. Great atmosphere. Cheap bill as well. Had a lovely lunch yesterday at The Turning Point with my girlfriend. Once you walk into the restaurant you know you are in a great place. The restaurant is clean and really seems like homey place. I had a half and half special which was half a cup of Turkey Chilli and half of a Santa Fe Salad. Both were delicious. I was so surprised by how quickly our lunch came out to us. We both ordered tea and I was presently surprised to see that they had organic tea's on the menu. Our tea was brought to us in cute little personal teapots which I just adored. Something about tea from a teapot just seems to make the tea so much better. Our waiter was so nice and very attentive. The only negative thing I have to say about the place is the name makes me feel like I'm at a drug rehab but I can overlook that for this wonderful experience. read more

It is great to have an addition to the breakfast scene in the area. Often we are looking for an option on the weekends other than our normal favorites. This restaurant could become one of the new favs. A very welcoming interior, although the lighting is a bit harsh and bright for a breakfast. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food is everything that is expected from a restaurant that specializes in breakfast and lunch. I had hoped for a nice Sunday Brunch menu, but we didn't see that. I came here for the first time after the holidays for a brunch with a friend, and we were not disappointed! The decor is very cute/homey feeling, and the place was busy which told me it must be good. They have a good mix of healthy and traditional (think fancy french toasts and pancaked) options, and everything sounded delicious! I ended up with a frittata while my friend went for a salad, and we both really enjoyed out meals! The portion sizes were perfect too, not massive like a lot of brunch places. We also loved the larger hot and cold tea selection, which is not something you find at a lot of restaurants. I definitely plan to return soon! read more

Turning point I want to love you for the French press coffee and pancakes but everything else NO! I've visited multiple times and every time it's been a not so good experience. This time my omelette came out with raw onions and uncooked mushrooms. The wait so long and the place wasn't that busy. I have been here nearly a dozen times! It is a great breakfast/brunch/lunch spot. Their menu is large and there is sure to be something for everyone. They have seasonal specials. The restaurant is clean and the decor is simple. I love that you can order a french press of coffee. The prices are reasonable and the food is good. I have frequented The Turning Point - Cherry Hill several times. I also ordered pick-up and delivery during the pandemic to support this restaurant, but the other day my mother and I had a horrible experience at the restaurant. Our waitress, Morgan, was forgetful, inattentive, and unapologetic for her actions. She brought my mother coffee with no spoon and when she asked for one, she never returned. We had to flag down another waitress to ask for one. She then brought our food, and we asked for napkins because there were none on the table and she never returned. We stopped her three more times to ask for napkins, while she was helping other customers and she finally brought them, when we were done eating and she tossed them on the table. We then asked for boxes to go, and she brought one box, for two people. Her attitude was the worst that I have encountered in awhile at any restaurant. This place has nice touches: they give you your own pot of coffee, both Sriracha and hot sauce, free wifi, friendly and personal staff (was helped by more than 4 staff members in a 45 minute stay) and a well balanced aesthetic mix between "if I had a beach house this is what it would look like" and ESPN on behind the bar. Given service at other Turning Points are also slow, the service at this one was exceptionally slow that we didn't even receive our food before walking out. We ordered pancakes, a kids cereal and an omelette. I got a coffee and it took the waiter 15 minutes before he gave me cream for it. During the 50 minutes we waited for our food the waiter never came back to our table, not even to tell us that the kitchen was backed up or it would take a little longer than expected. How long does it take to put Cheerios in a bowl with milk?! We have kids! They don't have the patience to wait for their food and they were starving! We asked to speak to a manager and he never came out to speak with us. He hid himself in the back, to avoid confrontation?? We left after 50 minutes because we had a flight to catch. Who knows when the food would have arrived and how long it would have taken for the waiter to give us our bill. We left furious and will never return to this poorly run restaurant. read more

The food was delicious as always. Unfortunately, this was some of the worst service I've seen. It was around 2pm, so they were not really busy. The waitress took awhile to bring creamer out for the coffee and I had to ask her twice for a cup. It took her about 20 minutes to even take our order. Then she came over wondering where our food was... It wasn't at the table because she never got it. I had to ask a few times for salsa also. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable, my only complaint would be the same as the other reviews I've read- how long things take here, not even speaking of how long the food takes to come out. It's how long it takes for your order to be taken, how long they take to bring out your drink, how long they wait to check and see if your food turned out how you had ordered, how long it takes to receive the check every time. That would be my only complaint, other than that the place is fantastic and I would recommend! Went here for breakfast the other morning with my GF. She had an omelet and I had the eggs Benedict. Both meals were delicious, lots of coffee refills, and the service was excellent. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded...but well worth it. A welcome edition to Cherry Hill! read more
