This is our new "go-to" burger joint! Definitely a good little spot for lunch. I've tried a couple different burgers and they've all been great. My son got the mozzarella sticks and not only were they good but huge is an understatement. The parking lot entrance/exit is my only complaint but not really anything can be done to alleviate that. read more

By far the best burger I've had in Abilene. Since I know how to make a decent smash burger. I don't usually order burgers outside, but this place will definitely be an exception. You can clearly tell the meat is fresh, the french fries are likely made by cutting potatoes, fresh in the store. Service is fast and efficient and the place is actually nice to sit down and eat. There's nothing lacking in this place. I would highly recommend going here. Another advantage, there are no waiters, and they don't ask for tips to check out, you can give only if you want to. Definitely a welcome business model in a horrible tipping culture. read more

I got their signature burger. Turtleman Burger. It was very good, and its pretty much like a smash burger. No Waitress/Waiter, don't have to tip unless you want to. Onion rings slightly salted on outside. Refrigerated drinks on the side. Chill atmosphere. Prices are for just the food. It's an additional $3 for fries and fountain drink. An extra $1 or $1.50 for rings instead of fries. If you're in the area I recommend trying it out. read more

Pretty good! Stopped here with a group of baseball families. They were quick and the burgers were really good! The amount of fries they give is massive. Are you ready for a good burger? Turtleman's has been open less than a week, and they have been slammed every day! Potosi is a small town on the outskirts of Abilene. It's not a quick and easy place to have lunch. You have to want to drive that far to eat. Well, Turtleman's is worth it! Order at the counter, then they will call your name when it's ready. A little slow because they are SO busy! I, of course, started with the popper burger. Take a burger and add cheese, bacon, onion strings, cream cheese, and grilled jalapeños, and you've got a great popper burger! I like my fries a little crispier, but they paired well with the turtle sauce. Try it! We went back the very next day, and I tried the chicken strips. Chicken strips, gravy, fries, toast, and a drink for $10. A deal! I loved the gravy! Got more for my fries. If you have time for the drive to Potosi, Turtleman's is well worth it. Keep it up Brian! Really delicious smashburgers, great value for money and beautifuly seasoned burger patties. Their mozzarella sticks are also awesome and HUGE. And they have a very clean and nicely decorated dining area. The staff were all polite and helpful, I would definitely recommend stopping by here once in a while. read more

I do enjoy a good smash burger. I definitely was full after a double meet smash popper burger. I did not finish my burger or onion rings. We got there at opening hoping for hot fresh burger and crispy onion ring and fries. Unfortunately, onion rings were soggy, dripping with grease and luke warm, Burgers were luke warm as if they were reheated. Both burgers were bland and onion rings were bland. I would give a 3 starts out of ten. Little on the pricey side, two burger with onion rings and one fry and cheese stick were little over $40.00. Cheese sticks ok. the red sauce was cold. We will try again in few months to see if they work the kinks out. For starters they need to do with something about the greasiness. read more
