An amazing food truck with amazing pizza. They serve them quick, fresh and delicious! A top choice when it's an option amongst food trucks.

This one is a fave of mine, and I keep forgetting to review it, as its quite delicious and has many options available all the time. The Tuscan Wood Fired truck is hard to miss, with an outer wrap of what appears to be the inside of a kitchen, and line that is typically hard to miss, because - pizza! Again, the lucky bugger I am, they come to my office and setup annually on a Thursday, and unless i'm sick or out of town or dead, I'm there in line! They have a pretty decent menu offering, and can even cater to those that need to eat gluten free, which is an amazing option for a $4 up-charge. Anything from their Lucca pepperoni (classic pep and mozz) to their Siena (buffalo chicken pizza), to their vegan pizza with garlic sauce, they have your craving covered! The Mama mia pizza with the broccoli rabe and sausage and fresh mozz is a keeper, such a great set of flavors playing off of each other. They offer other spins like the Fat Tony (pork belly, sausage, pepperoni, red onion and mozz) and the Roc Pizza Plate (a garbage plate on a pizza!!!). They use quality ingredients, and their crust was perfectly thin and crispy to my liking this time of order. I ordered the Lucca pepperoni this time around, and it was a solid smattering of pepperoni on top of all that mozzarella. Classic, simple, and delicious. I obviously can't help myself, i added hot pepper flakes, which just tied it all together.

    Pizza food truck for wedding

My nephew used this truck for their wedding last weekend. The pizzas were awesome with a few choices to choose from even a vegan and veggie pizza as well as traditional pepperoni and the Buffalo chicken was very good. They also provided salad, greens and beans, Italian sausage with peppers and onions and baked pasta. Every was asked to take a whole personal size pizza due to Covid so everyone wouldn't be touching the pizzas. Every thing was delicious and servers were great and the bride and groom even received a Pizza peel that all the guests signed for them , that was a great touch

Let me start by saying that I am no expert on pizza. It's not the first thing I would order nor am I a huge fan of pizza and actively search for places to get it. I have tried their pizza and enjoy the crispy, thin crust. It's tasty and not soaked in oil. I am impressed with the idea of a wood fired oven in a food truck. The personal pans are a good size to share and come out hottt. One item that stood out from the rest is the panini gelato because it sounded so interesting to pass up. It's a great dessert - warm and crisp on the outside and cold and sweet on the inside. The best comparison I can find is that it reminds me of an Italian version of a Japanese tempura fried ice cream dessert. If you like that, then you will like the panini gelato.

Ate here at the most recent Food Truck Rodeo. I got the Pisa which is a white pizza with ricotta and garlic pesto. It was quick to order and get into the wood oven and then have my pizza. I am seriously impressed with the fact that there is a wood pizza stove on a food truck. it is pretty damn cool if you ask me. It smelled amazing and I did not mind the short wait. I was happy that this truck has it down and they know what they are doing. My pizza was delicious - very garlicky which I like. I added some crushed red peppers which was good to pull from some of the garlic flavor. I like thick pizza but obviously when you are cranking them out in just a few minutes for a food truck you have to make thin pizza. I didn't mind the thinness at all and it was cooked well. My only real complaint is that there was some condensation on my plate under my pizza from the heat difference. I didn't mind that but love if they could come up with a solution. I still want to try many other food trucks, but I would probably order from here again.

I love food trucks as much as basic bishes love lip kits. Summer time is a great time to be working in Downtown Rochester. We are very lucky to have a number of places close by where Food Trucks park to serve us. By 10:30am I am counting down the seconds until I can go out and explore. Tony Tomatoes is one of my top favourites so this review may sound biased...naturally I no care. Never have I had a bad experience and the pizza is worth every baking second. I've had a number of pies including my all time, margherita. Only, and ONLY, when they are not offering the best pie ever that is the Carbonara, I like to go with the Silvio which consists of white cream sauce, spinach, artichoke, and mozzarella! As I finish typing this I am counting down the hours until we meet again.

I should preface this review with the point that this is pizza from a food truck. I also had my first taste of it at the Food Truck Rodeo and pressure to serve hundreds of people quickly can cause a few errors in quality. I was impressed by how quickly it's cooked in their mini wood fired pizza oven. I must say they had a great setup and they fired these pizzas like pros in about 5-8 minutes. As for the final product, the crust was cooked thoroughly with nice blackened spots on the bottom. Although, the biggest let down was that it was gummy, didn't have any rise to it or any flavor. Yeast and salt, maybe a few herbs could have done wonders. I enjoyed the sauce, but felt there was a hint too much oregano. There was also a hunk of cheese melted per slice and minimal basil. It satisfied my never ending craving for pizza, but failed to deliver on the whole experience. Sample Tuscan's pie if you're in a bind. I'll give 'em another shot on a less chaotic night.

Best wood fired pizza in town! Everything is fresh to order and comes out hot and delicious! I am attaching pictures of the amazing Fat Tony and Holy Cannoli pizzas. It's unbelievable that these come from a food truck! Service is fast and friendly and the owner is always there making sure the truck runs smooth. Fantastic operation! I've seen this truck parked around the city for lunch, food truck rodeos, the jazz festival and they also do private parties.

This is their special dessert pizza. Apple crumb sauce topped with berries and whipped cream. Yummm

I would make the crust not so doughy. Too much crust. I would recommend a thin crust pizza selection.

I made reservations for 4:15. The restaurant opens at 4. I got there right around 4:10 tonight and…read moreit was packed. I chose to wait for my friend in the lobby. Right before my friend got there an older lady, a manager or maybe the owner told me I could only have my table for an hour. What? She showed me her reservation list. So?? It's not my fault that the restaurant was overbooked. I thought this was incredibly rude. My friend and I discussed going to another place and we were told that they would just make the other reservation wait until 6. My friend and I both worked in the food service industry for DECADES. I have never been told or told anyone they only had an hour to eat. We said we didn't want to feel rushed. I'm from out of town we were catching up. We were not planning on camping but an hour was simply not enough time. We are not rude so we ordered as fast as we could. We didn't ask for more time. We got garlic bread as an appetizer. They brought over some complimentary zucchini marinara or something. We both ordered chicken French and our food didn't arrive to our table until nearly 5pm. At some point the lady came to tell us that we didn't have to rush some other ladies were willing to get up. Thank you for letting us know, but it was incredibly tacky to tell us multiple times how long we could stay and what their plans were. And yet they still kept looking at our table making it very uncomfortable. We really only sat there for 15 minutes after our bill was paid. We were gone by 6. The original time we were told we could stay until. The garlic bread was okay. It was just their dinner rolls sliced in half and grilled/toasted. The Italian wedding soup was mostly vegetables (huge vegetable chunks). A few meatballs, some stringy chicken and a very few noodles. The broth was good. The chicken French was excellent for the most part. The spaghetti noodles were short. Almost as if they broken and impossible to twirl on fork to get a bite. It was messy, slurping noodles was so embarrassing. I ended up having to leave most of my noodles on the plate because I had to give up. It was a nearly $29.00 dish. I had specifically asked our server to put the garlic bread on my check since we were paying separately. She ended up splitting it between our checks. I wasn't happy with that. I wanted to pay for it myself. We tipped very generously each over 30% for apparently the huge inconvenience we caused. Giving this place a 4 is also generous. I'm not sure I would come back here again. For it being both of our first times coming here-the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The ambiance is nice, the lighting is good but the whole debacle with being told how long we could stay and then "not realizing we had a reservation she thought we were walk ins. " The food presentation (huge obvious towel swipe on my dish-hope that was a clean towel and there wasn't any cross contamination), the soup may as well been called Italian vegetable soup and the short noodles making it impossible to enjoy a pricey dish... the dessert menu is also lacking. Maybe giving it a 4 is misleading.

Once we confirmed a date and time, we notice communication was a huge issue with this caterer. It would take over a week to get a menu confirmation back and then with changes to the menu, another week etc. The same excuse every time, "too busy" or "running to an event". Eventually after a month of trying to get a menu together, the gentleman in charge gave us some attitude about us trying to confirm in a timely manner since the party was coming up. After all this, we decided not to move forward with them. Found a better caterer for the exact same menu and half the price. Update: see attached pictures, we were in communication and I definitely have the right company. Regardless, it was not an enjoyable experience.

Kevin made sure that we had plenty of food to feed our small Covid wedding of 60 people. No one left hungry that's for sure! And there were no left overs sorry to say but is a good thing. Kevin's staff delivery was super friendly and the set up was a breeze considering how Hot it was outside 85 !
