Right before my friend got there an older lady, a manager or maybe the owner told me I could only have my table for an hour. What? She showed me her reservation list. So?? It's not my fault that the restaurant was overbooked. I thought this was incredibly rude. My friend and I discussed going to another place and we were told that they would just make the other reservation wait until 6. My friend and I both worked in the food service industry for DECADES. I have never been told or told anyone they only had an hour to eat. We said we didn't want to feel rushed. I'm from out of town we were catching up. We were not planning on camping but an hour was simply not enough time. We are not rude so we ordered as fast as we could. We didn't ask for more time. We got garlic bread as an appetizer. They brought over some complimentary zucchini marinara or something. We both ordered chicken French and our food didn't arrive to our table until nearly 5pm. At some point the lady came to tell us that we didn't have to rush some other ladies were willing to get up. Thank you for letting us know, but it was incredibly tacky to tell us multiple times how long we could stay and what their plans were. And yet they still kept looking at our table making it very uncomfortable. We really only sat there for 15 minutes after our bill was paid. We were gone by 6. The original time we were told we could stay until. The garlic bread was okay. It was just their dinner rolls sliced in half and grilled/toasted. The Italian wedding soup was mostly vegetables (huge vegetable chunks). A few meatballs, some stringy chicken and a very few noodles. The broth was good. The chicken French was excellent for the most part. The spaghetti noodles were short. Almost as if they broken and impossible to twirl on fork to get a bite. It was messy, slurping noodles was so embarrassing. I ended up having to leave most of my noodles on the plate because I had to give up. It was a nearly $29.00 dish. I had specifically asked our server to put the garlic bread on my check since we were paying separately. She ended up splitting it between our checks. I wasn't happy with that. I wanted to pay for it myself. We tipped very generously each over 30% for apparently the huge inconvenience we caused. Giving this place a 4 is also generous. I'm not sure I would come back here again. For it being both of our first times coming here-the experience left a bad taste in my mouth. The ambiance is nice, the lighting is good but the whole debacle with being told how long we could stay and then "not realizing we had a reservation she thought we were walk ins. " The food presentation (huge obvious towel swipe on my dish-hope that was a clean towel and there wasn't any cross contamination), the soup may as well been called Italian vegetable soup and the short noodles making it impossible to enjoy a pricey dish... the dessert menu is also lacking. Maybe giving it a 4 is misleading.

After we parked the car, we walked in the back door of restaurant , off the parking lot, where we were faced with two flights of very steep stairs, so we decided to walk up the driveway in order to walk into the front entrance. Our table was ready for us and our waitress was wonderful. The bread with seasoned dipping oil was very good, as was the seafood bisque. The rest of the meal was terrible. I ordered scallops with homemade pasta, sweet peas, and prosciutto. The pasta was very greasy. It tasted like the scallops and peas were fried in bacon grease and poured over the pasta. There were 3 very small, flat scallops in my dish. The meal was very salty with crunchy pieces of bacon bits. As my meal started to cool off there were small chunks of grease forming on my peas. My friend's pasta dish was blah. As far as ambiance, the music was too loud, and the lighting was poor. it was difficult to read the bill. Very pricey meal for what we got. Not going back. Very disappointed especially since it was my 83rd birthday.

I ordered the pasta and shrimp special, which was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Unfortunately, my daughter is vegetarian and ordered the Gnocchi Rossi, which was quite disappointing. It lacked flavor and was very bland compared to my meal. The biggest downside of our visit was the service. We were trying to enjoy some quality mother-daughter time together, but our waitress interrupted us constantly--almost every time we took a bite. We repeatedly assured her that everything was fine, yet she continued coming back to the table. At one point, while we were still actively eating, she asked if we were ready for boxes. When I said no, she replied, "Oh, okay, you're just taking your time." It definitely felt like we were being rushed rather than encouraged to relax and enjoy our meal. To top it off, we were never offered dessert or after-meal options. Despite feeling a bit rushed and annoyed by the constant interruptions, we still left a good tip because the waitress was working hard and remained polite. Overall, the food was a mixed experience, the atmosphere was wonderful, but the service made what should have been a relaxing mother-daughter lunch feel hurried.

He was very professional and well equipped to handle our larger party. The overall quality of food was inconsistent. I ordered a steak medium well and it was over done, to the point of being burnt in some areas. The penne pasta with vodka sauce was too heavy and not enjoyable. The crab cakes appetizer was excellent, not overly breaded. Also enjoyed the hearty flavor of the Italian wedding soup and balsamic asparagus. The restaurant vibe was fun. Italian music played over the speakers and made for nice background noise. I also enjoyed the seasonal decor on display for St. Patrick's Day.

I don't always like eggplant parm - but theirs is thin and crispy and very flavorful. Even my husband LOVED it - and he used to say he doesn't eat eggplant. Whenever I am at a place that has meatballs I always order one for the table to share - and am admittedly hard to impress. Rosey's meatballs are INCREDIBLE. When I was leaving I was telling someone (maybe the owner) that the meatball was wonderful and she told me they are homemade. That was one hundred percent how they tasted and honestly, had they not been already closed when we were leaving, I would have ordered some to take home. If you haven't been and you love a good Parmesan or meatball dish - GO! Also - our server, Mia, was incredibly kind and did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome and helping us order. Thank you, Rosey!

The portions were HUGE, and yet we all finished every bit of our meals - no leftovers to take home. The food was amazing. Homemade, tasty, wonderful red sauce, everything was so good we just couldn't stop eating. They had to roll us out of there, and we all went home and took a nap.
