Atmosphere is cozy-family friendly. They have different seating areas, we were seated to the right of the bar with two other large parties. The server was very attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, my penne a la vodka was very bland. It didn't have the usual pinkish color so I knew something was off. I love Italian food so my standards are high. This penne vodka just wasn't "it". Disappointed.

Had a reservation on a Saturday night and the place was crowded. Service was excellent. There were two dinner specials and one appetizer special. Ordered a glass of wine and a water was brought along with it....nice touch! Bread was delivered to the table as well- yum! My daughter enjoyed her kids chicken fingers. They were very good. I had the grilled shrimp over arugula salad. The salad was very tasty. The shrimp were barely grilled and honestly a bit unedible for my taste. I should have asked for them grilled well done. I wound up taking most of it home, nuked the shrimp and finished it there. My husbands scallops were perfect and my parents both enjoyed their meals. Total was $159 before tax and tip and that included 4 bar drinks, but no appetizers or dessert. We will definitely be back.

My friends and I were looking for a nice spot for dinner and stumbled upon this place. This was probably the best pork chop I've ever had it was super tender and juicy and paired nicely with the portobello mushroom and goat cheese that was on top. The service was also great the waiter was very nice and was quick. This place is also very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

So the evening started with a cup of seafood chowder. It was just the right portion of a wonderful cup of soup. It had just the right balance of sea food and potato in a nice creamy mix. The others at the table both had the house salad which contained a variety of lettuce, tomato and cucumbers. They also both loved the dressings they were given. I wound up Pork Chop Creole and it was a wonderful choice. It was a pork chop cooked medium rare with a portobello mushroom on top. Along with this was shrimp, mashed potatoes all swimming in a wonderful white sauce. And under the potato pile there were also a few chunks of cooked potato that was a nice surprise to the meal. And on top of the pork chop and mushroom was a small hunk of goat cheese semi melted to finish the entree. For dessert the three of us had cheesecake, Creme brûlée and the ice cream dish that today escapes my mind. All were wonderful. I have family that goes there often. While this was our first visit, we will be back. Food prices were very fair, with top shelf service.

We had a reservation and it is recommended as this place was packed. Six of us were seated promptly and it is a very nicely decorated & comfortable restaurant. Although crowded, noise was not an issue. Our server whose name when we started to order was Victoria. One of our friends thought she remembered her name from a prior visit. (The friend had been here before and was right about the food but the server name was actually Jacqueline. She never let on until the check arrived) My wife and I shared a bottle of Pinot Noir which was good. She likes to google price on internet compared to restaurant prices. It had a fair mark up not outrageous. We started with sharing of appetizers. Crispy Calamari, Mussels A La Tuscany, Artichoke Francaise. All were very good and in good proportions for sharing. Two of us ordered the Seafood Pescatore , one the Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Penne A La Vodka with added Shrimp, and two orders of Chicken Broccoli Rabe. Well everything was great. Served in a reasonable time, no long wait. Portions were very generous and I totally enjoyed my meal. I was the only one to consume his plate, everyone else needed a go box lol. We even ordered deserts to share, with Irish coffee. Felt no pressure to leave and it was a very relaxing and enjoyable evening! Thank you Jacqueline and much thanks to the kitchen for a well enjoyed meal by all.

Our waitstaff suggested the pumpkin pie for dessert ; "very good" they said! Uncooked in the middle, crust hard as rock, flavor 'meh'.

Food Disappointing 2nd visit to this restaurant (1st time was great). Went for lunch; we were given dinner menus (dinner prices). The pinot noir gave me an upset stomach (too old?). The food looked more like diner food, at a higher price! I ordered Shrimp Francese; shrimp was perfect, but the sauce was too thick & greasy. Gave me reflux all night! Restaurant was sparsely decorated (Halloween); waitstaff was friendly and service was good.

Appetizers Broccoli Rabe, hot sausage, polenta and calamari.

The first time we visited, our table was directly next to the bathroom, which wasn't ideal, but the food and drinks were so good that it made up for it. We decided to come back again last night, and once again, the food was wonderful. The veal parmesan was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation but weren't seated until around 7:50. We then didn't receive our drinks until about 8:20, and our food didn't come out until around 9:00. Giving four stars because the food truly is amazing and has been consistently great every time we've visited. We just wish the service and overall experience matched the quality of the food, especially when dining with a reservation.

We stopped by Lubrano's after strolling the boardwalk wanting to avoid the greasy boardwalk eats. I wasn't expecting much since it just seemed like your standard pizzeria with a dining area, but I was surprised to learn the food offerings are elevated and done right. We came at an odd time, right in between lunch and dinner, but thankfully we're given the option to order off the lunch menu if we wanted. The lobster & crab bisque was one of the items on the lunch menu that I ordered - and the portion was MASSIVE. The flavor was there, but to my disappointment there were no signs of crab or lobster meat in this soup whatsoever, not even one chunk of meat. The appetizer salads given to every person who ordered an entree were a decent size, and the balsamic dressing packed a punch. I opted for the spicy rigatoni and once again, the portion size was healthy and the flavors were great. I tried some of the other dishes at the table, including the special of the day: monkfish, and all entrees were done well. It may have been an off day, but our waitress didn't seem too happy to serve us and would often cut us off mid sentence when ordering / asking a question. Often times she seemed irritated and short with the questions we asked regarding menu options, but I'll give Lubrano's the benefit of the doubt that this isn't their standard. Overall, this is a solid restaurant for Italian food and would definitely return when in the area!
