I told Dominic that my wife and I have eaten at the best restaurants in NJ and NY also in Tuscany and we've never experienced food this good. Just talking to him one time and you can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and when he tells you that he uses only the best of the best you can take that to the bank.

Took Another (Long anticipated) trip here. Love it love it love it. Food is amazing, staff is wonderful. Nicky, our waitress, was so attentive and wonderful (& it was a very busy night) ; the place is nice & clean. We shared mussels marinara (medium heat) for appetizer special & they were PERFECT; the mussels were on the smaller side which we prefer bc they're more tender, and the sauce was delicious--not too much heat, a little sweet, just right! For dinner I had the absolutely delicious stuffed pork chop from the menu, hubby got the "best-ever" fettuccine Alfredo special (w/peas & prosciutto added) tossed right in front of us in the huge cheese wheel. FYI--it's BYOB & Most of their pastas are made fresh in-house . Can't wait to go back again.

I meant to write about this restaurant in the last visit- again food was amazing. Staff were very attentive and the entertainment was awesome. They had a local crooner that sang Frank Sinatra etc. my husband had the tender veal parm and I had the chicken melanase. Delicious The owner also sang and he was great!!! Looking forward to our next visit~ The Scala's

We went to celebrate a couples wedding anniversary. What a great meal. The server, BOBBY was professional, but nice to talk with and took care of us. I had the Mussels in mild sauce for an appetizer. Delicious We also ordered the Fire cracker shrimp . Delicious too I had the veal chop parmigiana with linguine for a side dish. Out of this world We finished off with coffees and I had the warm Apple pie ala mode. WOW I'd go back in a minute.

I thought I left a review 6 months ago about how incredible our experience was dining at Cordi's! On a very cold winter night, my husband and I were unexpectedly served on the pizza side as the restaurant was full and though we thought we were out of luck, that night will always stay in our memories! We were treated like family by the charming Dominic, sweet Agio, and kind Frank! I felt like the restaurant had closed just for us. I ordered the penne and every bite was scrumptious. The wine complimented it perfectly and the garlic bread from Brooklyn was crispy, hot, juicy and mouth watering. A warm thanks and round of applause to this family-owned business as the chef is Dominic's son and is oh so talented! It's just not about the food but the experience and you will feel right at home.

So when we needed a dinner location in the Brick, I figured we would try this location. Upon my early arrival, I was seated in the west facing room with ample natural light. There was only one other table of "early birds" nearby and they were loud but entertaining. Our waitress greeted me and brought some water and an ice bucket. I perused the menu while waiting for my friends. To my delight, this place is MUCH larger than Manahawkin. There are at least three rooms. Regardless, by the time we left, it was very busy. reservations are highly recommended. When my friends arrived, our waitress reviewed the menu additions. We decided on the oysters, octopus, arugula salad and the cod special. Everything was excellent. Service and pace were perfect. Plates promptly cleared, bread replentished. We shared a tiramisu and I had a double expresso. We will definitely return. I will take some photos on my next visit.

The dining room is boisterous and lively, making it a great environment where both families and adult parties seemed to be having a wonderful time. For drinks and appetizers, I started with a lychee martini and ordered the crab cake appetizer as my entree. While the flavor was good, I've honestly had better crab cakes elsewhere. My fiancé ordered the surf and turf, which was perfectly prepared. The real stars of the meal, though, were the sides and dessert. We ordered the roasted brussels sprouts and the baked mac and cheese, and we both absolutely LOVED our sides. To wrap up the night, we dived into the peach cobbler special--it was incredible, and I would easily go back just for that! Overall, it was a fantastic evening with great energy, amazing sides, and a standout dessert.

I started with French onion soup which was sooooo salty. Flavor strong but salty. My Partner got the crab cake. They did enjoy that. So I got the main entree of filet tip carbonara. The meat was cooked well which I was okay with but should have been medium well. The pasta sauce again saltier than would like. I guess this is why there is no salt and peppers shakers on the table lol. My Partner got the skirt steak and fries. Again he enjoyed both but prefers his own marinade. Bottom line this place is more than your average place cost wise. Knowing how to cook and get a piece of filet mignon for $14.00 at ShopRite and a skirt steak for $25 at best and do it yourself doesn't justify the cost. The atmosphere was ok little dark, we did get a nice corner table. Otherwise tight seating. Our server was super polite and gracious for our tip. So overall if you have money to spend on okay food you won't be disappointed. Would I come back? no.

The restaurant is gorgeous as you can see by the video of that fountain, you feel like you're transported to Italy. But the restaurant isn't just pretty, the food is absolute phenomenal too. The first time we visited, our table was directly next to the bathroom, which wasn't ideal, but the food and drinks were so good that it made up for it. We decided to come back again last night, and once again, the food was wonderful. The veal parmesan was amazing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking. We arrived at 7:25 for a 7:30 reservation but weren't seated until around 7:50. We then didn't receive our drinks until about 8:20, and our food didn't come out until around 9:00. Giving four stars because the food truly is amazing and has been consistently great every time we've visited. We just wish the service and overall experience matched the quality of the food, especially when dining with a reservation.

Last weekend my wife and I decided to visit the Howell location. I guess lightening doesn't strike twice, sadly. We used the app to reserve our space and notified the hostess upon arriving. We were offered bar seating along with a free app. Things were looking good. We were greeted immediately by a busy bar tender who was super nice. We ordered our drinks and were asked what type of free app we'd like. We opted for the boneless chicken wings. Then for entrees my wife and I both ordered sirloins, i opted for the combo with ribs, she got the steak by itself. We both asked for them to be cooked medium. Her steak was grey (well-done) mine was perfect. I cut mine in 1/2 and gave it to her. I ate a piece of my steak which was very nice. Then i cut into my ribs which turned out to be the driest ribs i've ever eaten. I literally had to grab my drink out of fear of choking (I'm not exaggerating). I've heard too many stories as to why you never send food back, so we opted to hold onto what we had. Sitting next to us was an older couple. They both ordered steak, the lady returned her steak as it was overcooked as well. By the time they brought her a new steak, her husbands steak was cold. They complained and were given a gift card to return with. After our Lancaster experience we were beyond excited to try TRH again only to have the wind knocked from our sails.
