Lovely little restaurant with delicious, fresh food. The eggplant in the Pasta Alla Norma were little nuggets of deliciousness and the homemade pasta was perfectly cooked. There wasn't much bread brought out but the pizza crust was perfect to sop up some of the extra sauce. The Bianco e Nero (Nutella mousse over cream puffs) was light and delicious, and not too sweet. This is our family's go to. Best Italian we have found in the Nashville/ Middle TN area. We used to drive quite some distance to Hermitage and appreciate the bit closer for us, Hendersonville location. It's worth the drive. Everything we have tried and we've tried a lot, is fabulous. This was our third time at giving this place a shot and will be our last. The food is subpar, has been undercooked each time. This visit, the female taking the orders was friendly and very engaging. However, when my husband and I sat down at a table, one of the females working there asked us to move "in case a larger party arrived". The tables were half empty, with 4 other 4-seater tables open. She then asked if we ordered a lot of food. We did move tables, and by the time we left the restaurant, all but one 4 person table was available. As someone that had the chance to eat in Milan, Genoa and Rome I must say this is the best place that I've found in the US so far, and I've been to some pretty expensive restaurants. There's two main things: 1. The pizza is proper Italian, not overburdened by ingredients, light but filling and delicious. 2. The carbonara lacks the pancetta oil, it was too bland and it simply needs more mixing to bring out a little more saltiness. The calzone was terrible. I expected more cheese. It was a big glob of prosciutto. (aka raw bacon). It looked like I cut open a person. Cooked with the sauce on it . The bread was soggy. My daughter had the four cheese nocchi. It was fabulous. I will try again. No raw ham. read more

They simply have the best pizza in all of middle Tennessee! It's always fresh and simply delicious! It is family owned and I normally go to the Hermitage location, but I have driven to the Henderson location multiple times because it is that good! (Hermitage opens back up soon!) And the fact that it's family owned is appreciated and that their employees seem to be very happy and welcoming when you come in! "Yes, mamma." Those were the first words I heard when walking into Tutti Da Gio, a phrase I heard many times while enjoying this lovely addition to our neighborhood. I am excited to share with you my experience, as I am confident my words will be read many times over. I placed my order with the kind staff at the register and took up my position at the pizza counter, where the show began. It was the soft-opening weekend of Tutti Da Gio, and this place was buzzing with energy. "Yes, mamma!" could be heard throughout the kitchen as I caught glimpses of co-owner Giovanna Orisno zipping from place to place, table to table. This lady is in her element and loving it. The only one moving faster was her son, Vincenzo. You cannot bottle this guy's passion. It was impressive to watch. I started with an Arancini, and this little ball of flavor set the tone magnificently. For my entrée, because I am a big fan of gnocchi, I tried the "Gnocchi con Gamberi e Zafferano" (Saffron and Shrimp), and no, I do not know how to pronounce it correctly, but I will work on it. Wow! This place is amazing and a truly needed authentic Italian restaurant in Sumner County. It's Sicilian Italian, not New York Italian, they make their own pasta, and they have awesome pizza. We started with the arancini which was amazing, then had the gnocchi with shrimp and saffron, the tortellini with prosciutto, and a calzone for our dishes. The food is okay, but a little overpriced. And the fact that they only have one counter person taking orders causes a huge bottleneck of people lined up out the door without fail. They don't accept orders over the phone or online, so you have to wait in the line to make an order for pickup. read more

We absolutely love this place. I have never tasted pizza crust this soft and chewy...the Margarita was amazing. Dinners are authentic and delicious...having been raised in Pa. in a very ethnic area with amazing authentic Italian and Polish foods we missed the foods back home so much.....then we recently discovered Tutti Da Gio. When you walk in, you'd think you were in a cafeteria. Walk up to the window to order, you are given a flag with a number on it to take to your table . That would be okay....BUT for 1 appetizer, 1 entree, 2 sodas and 1 dessert the bill was $47 for LUNCH! . Plus I put a $5 in the tip jar at the counter. Sticker shock! The food wasn't bad, but it definitely was nothing to brag about. It was decent. Half way through the meal someone, either the cashier or the prep area guys, turned on a boom box and was blasting heavy metal music. It turned the whole experience into a nightmare. read more

The food was very good- BUT , in our car the temp read 91-- inside the restaurant it had to be 95 with NO air circulation at all. Looking at the ceiling- the was ONE het/ac vent for the entire restaurant and NONE in kitchen area. Service was very slow as it took 35 minutes to get our order ! Get take out ! read more
