So excited for a revamp of Kentlands and an opening of a froyo-bubble tea place combo! On a weekday afternoon, my tot and I popped in for some froyo. The lady was nice enough to let us sample some flavors before purchasing. I really enjoyed all the sorbets they had and ended up getting mango and my little one got strawberry (with lots of gummies, sprinkles, and fruit toppings). The toppings (sans the mochi) were all fresh and not stale tasting. Service was great here. Like any normal place, you pay by weight. This place sit adjacent to Bon Chon (like, literally open to Bon Chon, no door), so if you happen to eat an overly spicy meal there or need a pre-meal tummy-opener, you could always just hop on over here. If you're looking for the big sweet flavors reminiscent Sweet Frog (Chocolate, Vanilla, Oreo, etc.), this may not be your froyo choice, but this was great for me and we'll def be back and plan to try bubble tea next time. Bubble tea AND froyo in one place? And it's connected to BonChon? Seems like a win-win situation going on here. This place seems to have opened recently, but I have definitely heard of it before. Looking back on its history, it started in Canada and has since spread about! My sister was excited because bubble tea is one of her favorite things, and the site showed them having not just sorbet (a usually non-dairy option), but actual vegan froyo! Unfortunately, once we showed up, we saw that they only have sorbet and not that vegan froyo. Hopefully that changes in the future! Anyway, we couldn't help but taste a couple of flavors... though the main mission for us ended up being the bubble tea. Not only was it delicious... but they're so GENEROUS with their bubbles!!! It doesn't get much better than having a surplus of bubbles!! I'll have a more thorough update on the froyo some time later. But otherwise, so far so good! read more

Never knew this was here. A little surprised it was in the same facility as Kung Fu. The place -ambiance could be soooo much nicer. It was very warm in there, too, which is not so appealing when you are trying to cool off. Flavors they had were good but half of the flavors were out of order. Hope they focus on the decor a bit as I'm sure it could be even more popular if you did. read more

I love Tutti Frutti and this is one of my favorite locations, probably one of the only ones left in the area. The toppings are now behind the counter, so the employees will have to put them on for you. But I don't mind it if it means being able to minimize germs and people using their hands in the toppings. The employees are always super nice, and if you want a ton of toppings - they don't give you a hard time. I love the simple tart yogurt with fruit and occasionally mochi. They also have a kung fu tea in this location, which comes in super handy! And it's also connected to the bonchon chicken, so you can have it all in one location! As I was looking for an afternoon treat, I settled for fro yo. The location is a very congested side street, whereas people forgot about their driving skills and their manners. Try parking, near Cinco de Mayo, a little walking wont hurt yall. I walk in and was immediately greeted, and got a brief run down on how things work. So you get a cup, you then go and pick your choice of fro you, that comes soft serve. My only con is that I was they had bigger labels to tell you want each pump's flavor was. I picked vanilla, I go back and the employee poured my toppings of choice. I love how they have different types of chocolate candy toppings, those are the best toppings for froyo IMO. Twix and Heath candy bar toppings were my choices. Both were such a lovely combo on my sundae. Remember, that the price you pay is based on weight. So I kept it simple. My wallet did not hurt and my tummy did not either. I realized also that they carry bubble tea, how cool is that?!! I love how that they are so close to Bon Chon. So after dinner, I can cool my palate on some fro yo. I am now a fan of this fro yo place, and I need to come back again to try their bubble teas. Haven't been to any froyo places in so long, and this didn't disappoint. They have a ton of topping, probably too many to choose from. I went pretty basic with Taro and Coconut froyo topped with shredded coconut, pecans, and mango and it was so good. Gotta try to make it back soon. read more

I visited Tutti Frutti to get froyo with my friend after lunch! The place was relatively empty and actually has an open doorway leading into Bonchon. The selection of froyo flavors is relatively limited compared to other places I've been to, but there is still a nice variety. They scoop the toppings for you and this is the first place I've finally encountered that had popping bubbles! The flavors I got were watermelon sorbet, mango sorbet, and nutella, and for toppings I got the yogurt chips, mango, and mango popping bubbles. The watermelon sorbet only had a faint taste of watermelon and although the nutella flavor tasted like chocolate, I couldn't identify the iconic nutella taste. The chopped mangos I got for toppings were not sweet nor flavorful, but the popping bubbles were amazing. Overall, Tutti Frutti is an average froyo place, and the highlights of my order were the mango sorbet and popping bubbles. read more

I'm not from Maryland, I live in RVA .. so I'm used to having and trying "Sweet Frog" which is really good but let me tell you. When I tried the frozen yogurt from tutti frutti I fell so in love. All of their flavors are pretty good, especially strawberry and vanilla. The toppings they have are very delicious. The service is pretty good as well. Staff is nice and helpful. We went for frozen yogurt. There were only 2 flavors available - cotton candy and strawberry. We gave that to our toddler and realized soon that the strawberry flavor had a strong chemical taste to it. 2 adults had spit it out and we took it away from the kid. The after taste was horrible. The worker quickly shut off the strawberry machine and quietly said "sorry, it does that sometimes". He kept looking into the cabinets -- not sure what for. We asked for our money back. I'm sure the guy at the counter is just glad we went away on that note. That's not a good sign -- the machine is probably not even clean. Clearly no other experienced service manager on site either. Cept today I was on my way only to find a sign saying that their old menu is completely discontinued and instead being replaced by Kung Fu Tea's menu which I absolutely despise. It's really such a shame that this location is just becoming the same as the one in Pike and Rose because I really did love the drinks. It's truly such a shame. read more

Surprisingly this place also sells bubble tea which I wasn't aware of because of the store name. The frozen yogurt was also very good with a lot of options for toppings such as fruits, chocolate, can and etc. Their milk teas are definitely better than most place around gaithersburg especially their Thai milk tea. If you prefer fruit teas then I suggest you try their rose peach green tea. read more

When this location opened in the Kentlands, I was so excited. In the beginning, it was great! I enjoyed the frozen yogurt and went almost weekly. The staff were always sweet and also greeted me with a friendly hello. The past month, my daughter and I have found the service horrible. The sweet staff from the summer have disappeared, and this very rude disheveled worker has replaced them. In addition twice she has given us the wrong type of boba straw, stating they were out of the straws with the sharp points. Today will be our last time going here. We went to order our drinks, and the same rude girl said they were making the boba, and we had to wait. We were fine with waiting and continued to order when she rudely said, "You didn't hear me, it will be at least 35 minutes." We left and went somewhere else. Given there is so much competition locally, I am very surprised this location allows for such rude service. Sadly, they lost a frequent customer. read more
