On this visit, I decided to get a milk tea to-go, as I was passing through the area. I got their Coconut Milk Tea (cold) with Honey Boba and Coconut Jelly. It was my first time having any of those three items, but the combination together tasted well that I would get it again. I forgot to mention to the employee, my sweetness level and whether I wanted ice or not. I will know to do so (ahead) next time. Ok, this is my new favorite group spot. It's SO CUTE inside and very clean. They don't seem to allow samples, which was a bummer, but I took a chance and got my usual tart mixed with their seasonal pumpkin spice. It was delicious and not too sweet. You add your own toppings, which is also a big deal for me with my froyo. The topping options were pretty standard but nothing wrong with sticking with what's tried and true. They also sell bubble tea but that wasn't what I was going for today. There aren't many froyo places left in the area (*cries*) so I'm very pleased that I stumbled upon this place! read more

I was in the area with the family for an event and my daughters (9 & 11) wanted some boba tea. Bubble 'n Berry was the closest so we headed over. The store was nice inside and we discovered when we entered that they offered froyo, boba tea, and a variety of other drink options. The folks behind the counter were very helpful and gave us an overview of all the drink options. I ended up getting a classic Milk Tea (with black tea) and the girls got Taro Milk (with no tea). My milk tea had a good tea flavor and the boba had just the right chewy consistency. At first glance, the boba here seems like it's on the expensive side; however, there is only one size offered (24oz), so prices are pretty reasonable. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. This is probably closer to 3.5 stars. I live nearby and got around to trying it out! My niece and I went when they had just opened for the day. Clean, spacious and well lit. First time so it took us a few minutes to look at the menu and make our choices. The person helping us at the counter was really nice and answered a bunch of our questions. My niece got the hibiscus tea with boba. Light. Sweet. Refreshing. Not a very strong hibiscus flavor but still tasty. The boba was sweet and bit on the softer side. I like mine with a little more chew. I got the lavender milk tea with boba. Went with non dairy powder option but think I'd try Almond milk next time. A bit sweeter than what I usually drink. The lavender was very mild. Tough when it comes to lavender cause too much and it'll taste like laundry soap. It was ok. I'll get something else next time. The teas remind me of Ten Ren. I'll go back and try the froyo, but when it comes to bubble tea, I'd pick KFT, Gong Cha or TBaar first. Still, nice to have Bubble n' Berry in the neighborhood! read more

I truly love this bubble tea shop. Ok so it also has froyo that you can mix and match and get all the toppings but I'm here for the bubble tea. Everything is made to perfection with such delicious combinations. Peach lychee, Mango passion fruit, matcha smoothie with some unique jellies and poppies to boot. My daughter is obsessed with bubble tea and wherever we are, she always wants to try new places. We were in the area for lunch and decided to stop by and try. Its a cute little spot in a corner of the Redwood shopping center. We were greeted immediately and staff were so nice! The place was clean and had really cute colors. They offer froyo and a variety of milk teas...so many options. I tried the coconut milk tea and my daughter got the brown sugar. It was pretty good, but a bit on the sweeter side. My daughter liked hers, but its wasn't her favorite. If we happen to come back, we may need to adjust the sweetness level and Id definitely try some other items on the menu. When I walked in there was only one person working and she was super sweet and friendly. Customer service was AMAZING! I came in here with my whole family. My kids were super excited because they has oriental snacks that we usually get from the asian market there on the counter and super cute spoons! They had a good amount of frozen yogurt choices. But Honestly the only one I liked was the Birthday cake. Their peanut butter flavor was somewhat sour? We tried the chocolate and it was not that great. A new bubble tea and frozen yogurt place in a semi-old strip-mall. I dig it! This is one of the closest places near my home that offers bubble tea and it isn't so bad. It is not the best option out there and certainly not a place to travel far and wide to get. However, it is a good option compared to the placed nearby, which are very seldom. I do appreciate how clean this place is considering that it is new, but I can understand how quickly new places become dirtier. The place seems organized and easy to manage. They do have a lot of options for snacks in addition to the frozen yogurt and also some cool choices to mix and max. There is a good amount of seating considering that it isn't near a movie theatre or anything like that. It is a good place to say "Hey, lets meet here". Sit down and chat for 15-20 minutes should suffice. Overall, good to have a place in this location with a pretty good selection of flavors. It isn't overly sweet and pretty good. Today, February 1, 2019, I was trying to use a Local Flavor coupon I have that expires on February 3, 2019. And, so we're all on the same page, this is 2 days before its expiration date. After telling the worker there I had a Local Flavor, she called the owner who said they don't accept those anymore because their promotion ended. I asked how this could be if my certificate clearly states February 3, 2019 as the expiration date. The worker there said, "Sorry, we can't accept it." The owner then thinks it's alright to offer me 20% off my purchase? Is that supposed to make him denying my still-valid certificate okay? I've been a patron of Bubble N Berry for over a year now and I will tell you that I will never return here. I will make sure to share my story with family, friends, and neighbors about how unimportant their customers are to them. Again, I wasn't asking for a favor or asking to use an expired certificate. Samples anyone!!! When I walked in the young lady running the show quickly asked me would I like some sample cups! She must know the way to my heart!!! I sampled strawberry, cotton candy, and this sorbet flavor that was out of this world amazing. I ended up getting strawberry, coconut, and birthday cake which turned out to be a righteous combination! I contemplated putting extra toppings on it but I was on my way to the gym and I already felt guilty enough having all of that sugar. The young lady working was wonderful and attentive. She explained all the toppings to me and she was so kind and helpful. I give this place an B+! It has great lighting, great staff, great pricing, and a food product. My only drawback was that there was no sugar-free option. It's our new favorite bubble tea place in the area. My sister-in-law took us here for bubble teas. The place is clean and wide open. It has a nice atmosphere. They have Covid guidelines signs all over the store. Also, a few tables and chairs are not used. They have a lot of flavors to choose from; if you wanted milk tea, slush, or smoothie. They have frozen yogurt but we haven't tried it yet. We ordered the brown sugar, strawberry slushy, watermelon slushy, and mango green tea. All of them were good especially the brown sugar. The boba is fresh. It's my kid's favorite bubble tea place and every time we are at my sister-in-law's house they always wanted to stop by and get slushies. What I was really excited about was the assorted jellies as a topping in bubble tea (love them but they don't offer them in that many places in the area). I would give them zero stars if I could. My husband and I always go to their store for our frozen treats and spend usually $15-$35 and put it on our credit card ( like every other place). My husband went out to get us our weekly treat and built up our yogurts and when he went to pay and two young ladies told him that they ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! That they had signs ( very small, but who cares if you have an insane policy like that welcome people with that ) He asked if they had an ATM but they didn't and he said that he didn't have cash ( please note that he had two big tubs of frozen yogurt with all the toppings on the scale ready to pay), he asked them what he should do now because he wasn't able to get cash to pay them and they said to DUMP THEM IN THE TRASH!! How insane is that?!? My husband and I don't like to waste food and he is the kindest man around and he walked into our house very upset abs swore to god that he would never step foot in their business. First of all, what is that smell? It smells like an old wet rag in here, that should have sent me packing. We stuck around and got the kids all fro yo, and Caitlin and I got smoothies. Although the kids didn't complain, I tried all the flavors of fro yo and none of them really hit the mark. I got a pinacolada smoothie and she got the strawberry smoothie. Neither of them were what I'd call smooth. More like snow cones, very crunch chunky ice. This place had the same number of stars as Kung Fu Tea in Germantown so we decided to try it, thinking it would be of the same high caliber. We were wrong. We should have turned around when upon walking in the door it smelled like a stale fart. But we decided to persevere! After all, they have froyo for the kids...which they seemed to enjoy just fine. The scale however is not tared to the cups, so you pay for them along with the yogurt and toppings...they weigh about 1/2 oz so they are an extra .25. So we spent an extra $1.25 on our kids cups alone. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning. I ordered a smoothie with mango poppers, and it was anything but smooth. The whole thing was icy like a slurpee from 7-11. The flavors were nice but it wasn't terribly pleasant to drink (I'm not a fan of the slurpee). So next time we want bubble tea we will be going back to Kung Fu! read more

Wow where do I start? I came to this place when it was being built and ordered right when it opened. The staff are amazing. The owner is extremely nice and often gives me discounts. That doesn't happen much anymore because I've left MD and now am about a hour away but whenever I visit I try to support and come when I can. I recommend the lychee fresh tea with lychee jelly and bubbles (boba). I've been coming to this place for a long time. The honeydew milk tea is also extremely good, it can be a bit sweet so maybe dial down the sweetness to 70%. Place is super clean and I've never had a cup of frozen yogurt from here but the owner and one of the staff would always give me a bunch of sample cups.
