This place is adorable! The aesthetic is SO cute, colorful, and spirit-lifting! My daughter was eager to go as she researched cute spots for us to visit while in Palm Springs. Açaí bowls are my fav especially during the spring & summer. Tutti Frutti did not disappoint! My pitaya bowl was delicious! They actually get extra points from me because they automatically added granola to the very bottom of the bowl without me even having to ask (as I usually do but had forgotten to this time). Therefore, it was a super nice surprise when I got toward the bottom of my bowl and realized they had added granola to the bottom. My daughter got a Dole whip that was scrumptious also! This was a refreshing stop after traipsing along Palm Canyon during the bike rally. It was uncrowded with quick service, and we were able to grab a table in the air vonditioned interior. There are an amzing amount of options, including my favorite Dole Whip, but I wanted shaved ice, so I only had to decide which three flavors I wanted. My friend splurged on a cold canned Pepsi. Truly disappointed. The young employees could not answer and of my questions about the snow cone syrup flavors. Their answer to any question I had was "I don't know " if you are selling a product, and in a customer facing position, the employees need to have all the right answers to the customers questions. This is the third time I've encountered what feels like a consistently negative attitude from the owner. What stood out most today was the way she looked at my kids while they were simply enjoying themselves and laughing and it felt as though their presence was an annoyance. As a parent, that's uncomfortable and discouraging. I genuinely felt bad for the employees as well, as the overall atmosphere seems tense. This place used to have a much more welcoming vibe years ago, which makes the change even more noticeable. We were out in Palm Springs on Saturday along the main downtown area and found this yogurt and smoothie place. I was surprised at how comprehensive and large the menu actually is when taking into account all the juices, milks, and flavors you can get when making a smoothie. Customer service was great and friendly and patient with me since I don't like milk or any similar type of product. So they made me a large strawberry and banana smoothie with some orange juice, and my girlfriend got a small strawberry and banana smoothie as well. They are great tasting and actually took us over 1/2 hour to finish. Very refreshing especially being out walking in the heat. Frozen yogurt is obviously good, the toppings selection is great here, but man....on vacation when you want something on a Saturday night and drive out of the way to get it, you're expecting them to stay open until the listed closing time. I arrived 20 min before close, and they had the doors locked and waved me away. This is the second time this has happened. I hope a manager or owner sees this and corrects this issue. This place reminds me of Pinkberry, which I can't believe is like 15 years old now. They have a bunch of different tart frozen yogurt flavors, skewing heavy on the fruit flavors. Then even more sauces and toppings. If what you get doesn't taste good, it's essentially your fault because you're in control of all the ingredient selection. My personal mix tends to be the fruit-flavored froyo. Then I'm light on the sauces, since I don't want to mask the flavor. Think I just used marshmallow sauce, which seemed kinda novel. As for toppings, I generally skip the fruit, nuts and candies since they're so common. Interesting toppings like mochi, fruity boba, cheesecake bits and cookie dough get in my froyo bucket.
