This trip was one that I actually packed for. Whether H&M is recycling clothes to cut down on their carbon footprint or seeming charting trends and styles as I believe, I don't know for sure. I haven't done too much research. I do know that for a tied bag of clothes donated you get a coupon and you get a coupon. So now for the particulars...por fín. I have never been to this H&M outpost but I dug it as soon as I entered. I didn't remember seeing security which usually has me confused because I want to speak but I don't want them to watch me for speaking. Shopping ain't easy for everyone. So this H&M was cool. So this is where all the youngns are getting their NASA clothes. More importantly clothes weren't "jumpin' jumpin'" off the racks which seems like it should always be the case but no.@ Also, clothes weren't on the floor and oddly, there wasn't any music playing. Surely this was probably an error but either way, it gave the store a swanky vibe that I never felt in an H&M. After depositing my clothes in the bin by the register, the cashier gave me a coupon, painlessly. I don't know bout you but I always need socks. Never athletic socks, socks. So that makes me a sock snob shopping at H&M with a coupon, ham I am--going. So, I found the socks and before I started picking them out I noticed that my coupon had expired--months ago. So that made me anxious thinking about if they would accept it and if I could get this three for whatever dealio. Everything worked out well my friend. I with three pairs of socks, satisfied with my experience at H&M. If you are looking for deals, they will sometimes open up the consignment shop next door and I've seen some awfully cute dresses that would look great on a holiday card! The sizes seem to fit inconsistently from style to style. My main concern is with the returns... they gave me two free gifts when I spent $300+ (a luggage tag and a shoe bag) and if you decide to later return an item but don't have those with you, you can't return it. (You can't even buy the free gifts, or only get store credit.) Maybe it's a brand policy but, wow, how unwelcoming. I didn't buy and return this dress just to steal your free gifts. Maybe tell people that when they receive their unasked for free gifts. I also noticed this part of the policy wasn't mentioned at all on their printed return policy framed and put on their checkout desk.

I always find stuff for my 5 kids when I go there. The prices range on the higher side for consigned stuff, but you can usually find good deals and everything is cheaper than retail. I was initially sized for a custom tux shirt early June 2024 for my wedding on July 26, 2024. I paid $300 for the shirt. The shirt was not ready until August 8 and the shirt did not fit correctly. I knew there was a chance the shirt wouldn't be ready in time, however, I was told by Dash's that it was possible. I ended up purchasing a shirt from Brooks Brothers for my wedding that fit perfectly without any alterations needed. There was a major issue with the upper button/section of the shirt that you wouldn't expect from a custom shirt. I took the shirt back to Dash's on October 12 and the owner Victor assured me that they would get it fixed. On November 2, I returned to the store after being told the shirt was ready. When I arrived at the store, Victor told me there was a mistake and the shirt wasn't ready. He said they would have to send it back to the manufacturer. I did not hear back from the store until January 8, 2025 - in which I received a text letting me know that the shirt was ready and that they've been trying to get in contact with me. Prior to this, I never received a call or text with an update. Nonetheless, I proceeded to go back to the store to pickup the shirt, only for Victor to tell me it wasn't ready. He told me that there's a piece he was looking for on amazon and other sites that he couldn't find. He went on to ask me to look for that piece as well. Then he alluded to my height as being an issue. Mind you, Victor is an inch taller than me. Not only that, it was a custom shirt. So that's a poor excuse. At this point, I am frustrated because I paid $300 for a custom shirt that wasn't done correctly. Till this day, I have yet to receive the shirt. I've requested a refund and Victor refuses to give me one. His reasoning - "they are a small business." There has been no attempt to make things right by resizing for a shirt, or offering me anything to make up for the mishap. I've attached two pictures showing the issue with the shirt.

I called in late March since I hadn't heard anything yet, and he said to call back next week. I called a week later and was told it's not in yet but should be by April 15th. I called again on April 12th and he said "rest assured it will ship from Italy by April 18th." I was leaving for my wedding on April 23rd, and when I relayed my concerns he started yelling at me over the phone saying I don't know what he has to deal with, he "has to work with Italians," and said he has no control over it, then said it "wasn't my issue" which it certainly is. He rarely got my name right, he would call me by the wrong name often and even when I told him he would come back ON THE SAME PHONE CALL with someone else's order info. Incredibly unprofessional, rude, inconsistent, and all around a bad business. It's a wonder he's still in business. You can get this quality suit anywhere, you're paying more here for customer service and the personal touch. Save your money and go to a name-brand chain. Only reason this isn't one star is because I did end up getting the suit the day before I left for the wedding. If I hadn't called repeatedly, I doubt I would have it. Not once was I called first from Dash's about the suit I purchased. Not worth the hassle and headache.
