    Dry wall before
    Emmanuel C.

Overall great experience with Jose the owner. I am an active duty Solider currently not in the Chicagoland area and Jose was able to assist with a dry wall repair in my ceiling. He updated me through the process was ok with communication via text and phone. This process was super easy especially considering I was not present on site. I highly recommend them.

Rodney and his team did a wonderful job painting our entire condo! The walls needed painting and caulking in some spots and now the walls look brand new. They were very clear about communication, responsive, and reliable. They also painted everything more quickly than expected, which was great! They covered all of our things nicely and I love how our walls look now! They are also covid-safe. I am so happy we went with them and would definitely hire them again for future painting needs.

    Ceiling before recessed light install.

I wanted to give a big thanks to Jose and Rodney for the fantastic job they did in our home! We had an entire room needing new recessed lighting where there was none before. They got the job done in a timely fashion and the result is beautiful. We also had sconces put in a wall which never had fixtures there before. Several other electricians quoted a similar price as Tweaks and Finishes, but would not do the patch and paint work for the damages done in the process; they said I would have to hire someone else to patch the holes in the wall! Jose and Rodney did it all, from installation, to patching and painting, from start to finish. No one else that I spoke to offered this complete service! These guys are a great team and are great at what they do. I highly recommend Tweaks and Finishes for any job, big or small, and will be happy to work with them in the future!

A great experience! Jose from Tweaks & Finishes was very quick to reply to communications and then to submit his bid. He priced the job very competitively, scheduled it for later that day, arrived a few minutes early. He unpacked and installed the fixture correctly, carefully, and even requested my confirmation of approval (placement, pendant light height, etc.) at each step. He worked cleanly, fast, was 100% competent, and very friendly the whole time. No surprises or disappointments. Really an exceptional experience.

Fantastic guys. Knowledgeable and experienced. Upfront pricing unlike when I reached out to Jiffy (an online service provider). On-time and was totally professional and I absolutely love my installed dining room light. I will be using them when I move into my new home.

I highly recommend Tweaks and Finishes. Ther painted my living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway ceilings in one day. They were quick to come over review the work to be done, provide a quote, and completed the work in the same week.

Rodney did a great job painting and even did some minor covering of a small spot of ugly color on my walls.

Management knows about it, and despite the severity of what happened, no communication or update has been provided to residents, nor has there been any acknowledgment to the broader community. Understandably, this has created concern among dog owners who use the run daily and trust it to be a safe space. Many have only learned of the incident through word of mouth, social media, Citizen App, or directly from those involved. To date, management has not clarified what happened, how it is being addressed, or whether the dog responsible is still using the shared space. This isn't a small issue. A pet died in a shared amenity, and the people running this building have ignored it while continuing to market "luxury" living. That's not just careless, it's negligent. If you're thinking about moving here and you have a dog, understand that your pet's safety clearly isn't a priority.

Ah, where to begin. I've lived at many luxury apartments and this one is special - the management…read moreoffice here can only be described with one word: absolutely horrific. I guess that 2 words, but the "absolutely" was definitely necessary. THINGS TO KNOW FOR FOLKS CONSIDERING THIS BUILDING: 1. They will raise not only your rent, but utilities, which doesn't include electricity (mine went up by nearly 50%), and parking (went up from 300 to 350, even though there are entire floors of empty spots). 2. Expect to wait up to 20 minutes to be able to get onto an elevator 3. You need to pay to use the dining room amenity on the 16th floor even if it's not reserved. They will literally track you down via CCTV and fine you hundreds of dollars. 4. The walls are PAPER THIN. You will hear your neighbor's conversations/TV/late night activities. 5. The 17th floor is disgusting and has a permanent odor of wet dog. The leasing team is very dodgy and not forthright with this - if you inquire about a 17th floor unit, they will show something else of the same floor plan on a better floor. 6. The package room will lose your packages periodically. I've been handed packages from someone else's unit several times, and vice versa. 7. The unit floors are not even, expect to make adjustments yourself. 8. They will charge you for every blemish on the wall/floor/tile that everywhere else will consider normal wear and tear and tack on a "deep cleaning fee" just because. 9. Fun fact: a large pipe in the building burst, flooding floors 50-60 (not sure of the exact floors). People were MAD. That's what you're signing up for. 10. If you ever need to sublet, the process is unnecessarily long and tedious. I moved out yesterday and into 1000M (thank god). As a final parting special, the leasing office informed me that I still had to pay for a whole month of parking but because I don't live here anymore, I cannot access the 13-story high garage via elevator. The only way to access my vehicle is via stairs. TLDR: DON'T LIVE HERE. You have options, don't let the nice gym fool you - it's NOT WORTH IT. RUN FOR THE HILLS (or come to 1000M)

One of my friends who went to grad school in Chicago (whose food recommendations I trust with my life) told me I had to check out Hello Jasmine, so I hopped on the bus. I'm so glad I did. The cafe itself is ADORABLE. I happened to visit just before Halloween (10/28), and it was decorated in the most charming "spooky cute" way. There were little Halloween touches everywhere, and someone on staff is very clearly a Harry Potter fan. It somehow managed to feel festive, cozy, and cheerful all at once. I ordered the matcha fresh boba milk tea with fresh milk. My default is always 0% sugar because my biggest beverage pet peeve is when drinks are too sweet. (Despite being an ABC, one thing that definitely survived is my instinct to say "not too sweet, please".) The cashier gently talked me into getting 30% sugar because she said the matcha could be a little bitter otherwise. She was absolutely right. 30% percent was perfect. It was balanced, smooth, and so good that I accidentally drank it much faster than I meant to. (Oops.) I also ordered the pig blood rice cakes (made them spicy), and wow. I don't think I've ever seen these anywhere in Boston. They were seared, spicy, savory, just a tiny bit sweet, and 100% delicious. I was so excited to find something that felt a little harder to come by. 11/10, I would absolutely come back. In fact, my only complaint is that it wasn't closer to the convention center. I probably could have expensed lunch there, and honestly, those corporate dollars would have been much better spent here than on conference catering. I wish I lived in Chicago just so I could stop by more often. Hats off to Jasmine and the staff. It feels bright, authentic, and full of joy. I imagine it's exactly the kind of cafe where students go after a long week to recharge over a really good drink and something comforting to eat, and I'm so glad it exists.

Millennium's Customer Service was very quick to respond to my inquiry about changing the times and offered multiple solutions once I informed them that refund & subsequent re-booking was not an option due to an unrelated issue with my original credit card (lost/stolen during a recent trip). The level of customer service they offer is outstanding and, unfortunately, does not appear to be common today. Their response, understanding, and willingness to help (especially since the issue was in no way their problem) is what I'd expect from a small mom & pop lot, not a company running the largest parking garages in Chicago (and the entire US - according to Google). Travel to large cities can be stressful to say the least, and they definitely reduced my anxiety. I highly recommend Millennium if you're planning a future trip to Chicago and need to book parking. The pricing is completely unreasonable for such a short stay, and nothing about the garage justifies the cost, no special service, no noticeable convenience beyond basic parking. The only positive was the quick access to the Art Museum, but even that doesn't make up for how overpriced this garage is. I wouldn't recommend parking here unless you're prepared for an unexpectedly high bill. There are much more affordable and transparent options nearby.
