Jose and his assistant came out and assessed my project. I ask him to give me a idea of what would be necessary to complete the job, I also ask him to email me the scope of responsibility and a price to complete the project. Jose never responded to my request. He text me on a Tuesday and said that he was coming to my house to start working on the project the next day.....at that point, I ask Jose to provide me with references and an estimate for the work to be performed. He did not respond to my request and I never heard from Jose again. He never provided me with the cost of the work to be performed nor did he provide me with References. We had several projects that we've been putting off for a while. We needed to move an outlet to a different wall, we had a switch in the bedroom that didn't work, needed to add lighting and add an outlet for a mounted TV. These guys are great! They were referred to us and they are great for all kinds of jobs. We originally used them for various electrical work such as changing and updating electrical boxes, to light fixtures, to moving, replacing and rerouting outlets and switches. We were looking to knock out a wall in our kitchen and we had called them for the electrical part of it and turns out they were able to do the carpentry work as well!! After attempting to install a new light fixture myself I ran into an electrical road block. Jose of Tweaks & Finishes responded promptly to my request for an estimate, and scheduled the service call for the same day! Jose, accompanied by Rodney arrived on time, and treated me and my home with such care and respect. Jose was extremely knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed my electrical problem-explaining the issue(s) found along the way. A quick replacement of a burnt out dimmer switch restored my lighting, and mended the mess I created. Jose and Rodney also cleaned up the wires behind my many wall switches which they found to be a safety hazard, and installed my new ceiling light-all at a reasonable price within my budget.
