I was in on 8/7 for a gel mani/pedi and an eyebrow wax. The gel has already peeled off of 3 of my finger nails. For the price I paid, I would've expected it to last a bit longer, as it was not inexpensive. Also, when I was getting my eyebrows waxed, the lady who was waxing my eyebrows asked me if I was expecting and proceeded to point to my stomach. I feel that this is really inappropriate even if she meant it innocently. I am also not expecting I was just wearing a flowy dress. I was immediately self conscious and uncomfortable. I don't feel that that should ever be said to a costumer or anyone for that matter. I would just recommend being careful of etiquette when speaking to anyone including paying costumers. I am sharing this so hopefully it doesn't happen again to other paying costumers. read more

I have been a patron of Tweety's for many years. Everyone that works there, including the owners, are always very welcoming and accommodating. They all do a wonderful job but I especially love my girl, Suzanna. She does an amazing job and will literally bend over backwards to accommodate an appointment for her loyal clients. read more

UPDATE: I came to Tweety's Nest again this year to get a mani-pedi. This time I got an older gentleman (I never got his name). The pedicure was OK. The manicure was sub par. I had gel. The gentleman did not paint my nails completely, so now you see a natural colored line at the edge of the nail that looks dodgy. Also, it hasn't even been a WEEK and the gel is ALREADY beginning to chip! For the price I paid, I would expect that a little more work and care be put into the finished product. I went to this place one time and I'll never go back. I got there at 330pm didn't leave until 6pm spent 2 1/2 hrs getting a acrylic overlay and polish. I got shifted around to two different people got put last keep in mind i was there before the other people and didn't even get the right design and i had picture of what i wanted. i have to admit, i was a bit concerned for my nails when i walked in, after looking at some of the pictures here. but i was proved wrong. i came for a mani-pedi, and they did an excellent job. the woman working with me was very kind and warm. she made sure she knew what she was doing, and what i knew what i was getting. the salon is very clean. the pedi treatment was quite relaxing, after not having one for a while. i'm very glad we ended up here. and no matter what nail salon you support in dublin, ohio, you must call in advance and make sure they're not booked, just in case! read more

I told her (I believe her name was Liz) half way through my full set that I was in a time crunch (rude of me but I didn't realize how late it was getting oops) she was super fast and friendly and she did an amazing job!! We had a very nice visit to this nail salon. There were only two nail artists there when we arrived, so we had to wait about 20 minutes past our appointment time. I would say that is the only downfall. I think one of the artists may have been running late. I just expected to be helped at my appointment time, but I can understand being slightly understaffed. Tracy did my nails, which turned out great. She was super friendly and easy to talk to. For the price we paid, the experience was good and our nails look great. I'm sure we'll be back. read more

This nails salon is the best. I just happen to drop in one day wanting fiber glass nails and Tweety recommended Organic Get overlays. I went with her suggestion and have been extremely happy with the outcome! The salon's name on the outside still say H20 nail salon and I saw that there was some bad reviews. This is all when it was owned by the previous owner. Tweety and her staff take great care of all guests and they are very up front with everyone about time and if they are running behind. read more

I am very displeased with my time at Tweety's. I went there on my lunch break, had an appointment, and they said I would be out within an hour easily. So I get there and she is already rushing me to pick a color and sit down. As I do, I tell her I want my nails shorter than she trims them, and she does not go back and make them shorter like I asked. Then, she is painting over my cuticles. She is rushing the whole time, and I did gel so she did not let them sit in the light for longer than 20 seconds, and I own my own shellac light so I know that for them to stick it has to be 2 minutes each time. Overall, my nails did not look good after, they were way longer than I asked and all the way to the back. My nails were peeled off after 4 days, not even one week and I paid $30 for them to be gel and stay longer. They were chipping and getting caught on everything. I will not be returning to Tweety's. read more

I used to come here and love it before the change in ownership. I had Tracy do my nails last week. I paid $55 to get powder dip manicure. 2 nails came completely off after 4 days. Tried to get in for them to fix it but could not make it for the times they offered due to work. After a few more days, 4 more nails come off. I go in for them to fix it and she accused me of lying and picking the nails off myself and wanted me to pay at least half to get them redone. I am so frustrated by the poor business management, by the accusation that after being a loyal customer for ten years that I would lie!! Do not spend your money here. Definitely don't have Tracy do your nails! I will say that Liz (nail tech) is the best and should move to somewhere with better business management. read more

This was my first time having my nails done professionally and I had an amazing time. The day I came in they were low on staff due to people leaving for vacation, still I had a great time. Instead of just sitting and waiting the owner said I could sit in their massage chair. I had my nails done by Liz, she is amazing. I had a specific design in mind and she didn't do the nail art I wanted so I had that part done by another lady but Liz did the basic tips and nails prepared for the art design. As a male, I was absolutely pleased the friendly staff didn't mind my ugly feet. The aroma of the tropical relaxation pedicure pack (TRPP) was a superb choice that permeated my coronavirus mask. The girlfriend was happy, and so were my feet. I have never felt such smooth skin since I shaved my beard clean three years ago. Since this was my first time, it took courage but was well worth it. I was a walk in for a pedicure staying in a nearby hotel and just stopped on a whim. I got right in with no wait. The pedicure chairs were nice and comfy and big, they are massage chairs. Average nail salon. Friendly staff, seemingly clean salon. We had appointments for 3 to get our nails done. 2 of us got started and 1 had to wait until we were ENTIRELY done, so we ended up being there much longer than expected and running late for our hair appointments afterwards! I will never understand why these places take appointments when they seem to mean nothing. All our nails ended up looking good. This place is a definitely more expensive than average. My normal nail salon runs about $10-15 cheaper for the same services, and they have much fewer options for gel polish. They did allow us to bring in alcohol as we were celebrating my bachelorette party, so that was a plus. If I were in a pinch and in the area, I'd go back, but I definitely wouldn't go out of my way to go to Tweety's again. read more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! I came in for a balance and FOUR of my nails broke after just 5 days, gave them a chance to fix their mistake and they were so rude and unprofessional. They refused to give me a new set of nails without paying AGAIN when I brought my original receipt to show them. Absolutely NOTHING positive to say about my experience here. I came in for a balance on Thursday evening, there were two other customers already getting pedicures when I walked in. They said a few minutes upon my arrival, which I assumed would be 10-15 because there were 4 technicians working, I waited over 30 minutes for a technician to start my service, and that was only after I asked how much longer my wait would be. The lady, one of the other technicians called "the big boss lady", I can only assume is the owner of the salon took a cell phone call in the middle of the shop, while in the middle of my service and said "sorry I can't come anymore, I'm STUCK here with client", so unprofessional. She proceeded to do a HORRIBLE job on my nails, did not file them them down to remove the lift from my previous set of nails, didn't give me the length or shape that I asked for repeatedly. She rushed through (and very sloppily) had the whole set done in less than 30 minutes. That's not even the worst part, I asked her for a third coat of polish because the two she had done were still streaky so she globs on as much nail polish as possible for the third coat, so much so when my nails dried they were uneven thickness from her sloppy polish job. I had to repaint them when I got home because I was actually embarrassed. It is only 5 days later and FOUR nails have already came off when I can usually go two-three weeks before having any issues.
