We had just moved and needed a dentist close to our home. as a new patient of theirs at the time I had to have some more than routine dental work completed. It was done pretty quick and professionally. What really stood out was that Dr Zanzi (wife) who had performed the work called me the next morning to see how I was feeling. Being a new patient she wanted to make sure that I was okay. I have never had a dentist or doctor check up on me after a procedure. It was such a nice thing to do. They tell you that you need treatment and tell you that everything is covered, this and that covered and they check the insurance but a few months later they start sending statements with almost $1000 due because " hey never mind , we found out it's not covered. They tell you lies so they can get money from you . Happened twice again and this is a total scam practice from them . First time this happened I stupidly agreed to pay and now they do it again . I had copays of over $100 almost $200 each visit for the treatment and they said I owe nothing else but a few months later they say we owe because I guess they lied telling me they check insurance and told me everything else was covered. I feel guilty writing a bad review, as I had been going to Twelve Bridges Dental since I moved here in 2021. However, the past 3 visits raised flags for me, and my visit last week was the final straw in pushing me to find a new dentist. For the previous 3 visits, I've been told that my gums have been inflamed and while I know that I can improve my gum health (flossing more), I felt that the dentists could have kinder about ways to improve my oral health, instead of feeling shamed. During 2 appointments, the dental hygienist asked me if my husband and I are having another child. This is a very personal question for me, and I found it insensitive and unprofessional to be asked this question, not just once but twice. For my visit last week, thankfully the topic of a second child did not come up; however, I felt more shame than I ever have going to the dentist. I cried while laying in the chair with glasses over my face. To start the dental hygienist asked me about my venous lake on my lower lip--asking how long it has been there and the details of when/where I had my consultation (not her business). After 5 minutes into my dental cleaning, the dental hygienist stopped and took pictures of my gums. She put the images on the screen in front of me and talk me through how my gums are extremely inflamed and how they should be a normal light pink color. She recommended a WaterPik as well as PerioProtect trays. She made me feel extremely bad about my gums. The images of my gums remained on the screen as the dental hygienist continued cleaning (and remained on screen until my appointment ended--so that anyone walking by could see the images). A couple minutes later the dentist came in to do her exam. She saw the images of my gums on the screen and asked the dental hygienist what's up--the dental hygienist explained that my gums were inflamed and that she recommended a WaterPik, PerioProtect trays, and more frequent visits. Before I even opened my mouth for the dentist to do her exam, she pointed to my venous lake and said "weren't you supposed to have that removed?" I replied, stating again, that I had a consult last year and had not gotten around to getting it removed (as it is an aesthetic procedure) but I have a consult next month to do so. I asked the dentist if I needed to get it removed and she said no, but she continued to question when/where I was getting it done. Why am I getting so many questions about my venous lake when it isn't a dental issue?! Lastly, regarding the Perioprotect trays...this is a complete scam! The dentist claimed that the trays could help with bacteria that is between my teeth and gums. I was shown a 5 minute brainwashing video about PerioProtect trays at the end of my appointment. Come to find out, these PerioProtect trays are $899, and "are not covered by insurance because they're considered aesthetic care." I had to chuckle to myself because the dentists were badgering me about an aesthetic procedure for my venous lake, and they want me to spend $900 to get a different aesthetic procedure. The receptionist gave me a brochure about the PerioProtect trays--nowhere on the brochure does it talk about helping resolve bacteria in my teeth/gums--the trays are used for restoring teeth structure and strengthening enamel. So essentially these PerioProtect trays are useless to resolve my issue. Please stop making me feel bad about myself. My venous lake is already an insecurity for me. I see it every time I look in the mirror. I see it every time I see a photo of myself. No one else has ever pointed it out to me. But for the dentists to specifically call it out, and ask me questions about where I'm getting a consult and when I'm getting it removed, is just rude and, again, insensitive and unprofessional. As I drove home from the dentist, I sent my friend a voice memo and I broke down on the phone. I felt so silly for crying about an insecurity, but I felt terrible about my physical appearance. I don't like feeling bad about myself, especially over something so superficial like a venous lake. But I know that I should have been treated better at the dentist. Which is why I decided to switch dentists, and will now go to the same dentist as my husband! Further, the dentist that I switched to, has never heard of PerioProtect trays. I plan to discuss with the dentist there to get a second opinion, and to confirm that I do not need the PerioProtect trays. It's always best to get a second opinion anyways, so I am excited to begin my new journey with this new dentist where I hopefully won't feel as shamed :) read more

Front office has always been extremely friendly and helpful. Every one of the dental hygienist has provided excellent care and I haven't had one bad experience yet. Staff is professional and knowledgeable, and I never experience any pain during my routine cleanings. They have top quality equipment and comfortable patient chairs. They gave me a quote for dental work, which I had done, after only 2 months the crown they had installed fell off, within the same week the office contacted me letting me know my insurance only covered a portion of the cost they had originally told me was covered by my insurance, if I had known my out of pocket expense was going to be so high I wouldn't have gotten the work done. Now they're emailing, texting and calling me to collect money they say I owe. I asked them why they didn't confirm the amount with my insurance company, they claimed they had and insisted it was the insurance companies fault. Ultimately, they wanted the business so they misquoted me on purpose, did the dental work then proceeded to try and collect payment, now they're threatening me with a collection agency. This is a matter of preference for what type of care you seek. My child saw a prior dentist in San Jose 3 months ago and there were a few cavities on watch. We came here and they recommended 14 cavities!!!! We got second opinion from Rocklin Dental and they said she only needed 3 fillings, put sealant on molars and watch progress of others. So if you want a very aggressive treatment plan and pay more then this is a good fit. But it is not the right dentist for our family. read more

I've been a patient at this office for nearly a year now, and had my first cleaning with Dilpreet, who provided an exceptional and thorough cleaning. I am not sure who my doctor was as she never even introduced herself prior to performing my procedure. I noticed when entered the office back in 2022, there was a notice on the door saying they were underserved and to be patient with the staff. I didn't think anything of this besides that they were short-staffed. A lot of communication with this office was primarily via text- appointment confirmations, reminders etc. In the months leading up to March-April, when I was scheduled for some dental work, I was informed that my regular hygienist, Dil, would be on maternity leave during my June cleaning. My dental assistant assured me that another hygienist would take care of my cleaning, and I appreciated the advance notice. Furthermore, I noticed they still had the same "short-staffed" notice on the door but I didn't think anything of it. Fast forward to June, I received a confirmation text for my appointment a week prior. However, just a few days before the scheduled date, I received another text urging me to reschedule due to my hygienist's maternity leave. Confused by this sudden change, I called the office to address the issue. I explained that I had been aware of the situation for months and had been informed that another hygienist would attend to my cleaning. The staff member I spoke with claimed to have no record of this and offered me a new appointment for September. This was disappointing, as I needed a sooner appointment and believed the office had ample time to make appropriate arrangements given the prior notice. Then I was scheduled for a cleaning with the dentist for the end of July. I had already confirmed my appointment multiple times through text reminders, only to find out that the office claimed I had no appointment when I called to reschedule a couple of days prior. The response I received was not only unhelpful but also quite rude, with no acknowledgement of the inconvenience caused. This situation made me realize the potential frustration of showing up for an appointment that the office had failed to note in their system. It's particularly aggravating considering I had taken time off work to accommodate the dentist's limited schedule, which they had been aware of. The office's explanation for these issues being due to ongoing staffing shortages seemed questionable. It's puzzling how a dental practice could experience such a prolonged shortage of staff for over a year. Unfortunately, my concerns were not addressed and no resolution was offered. Fortunately, there are plenty of other dental offices in the area to choose from. If you value your time and expect clear and effective communication, I recommend seeking dental care elsewhere. This experience has been unlike any I've encountered before, and I say this as someone who works within the dental industry myself. read more
