Brisket (large) with sauce, sweet potatoes fries and baked beans. Delicious. The pickles are homemade and are good.

Nice place but disappointed in the brisket as it was very tough and hard to chew. The smoke turkey was outstanding.

I've been here twice over the past 2 weeks and finding more and more items that I love. Really enjoyed the Wednesday BYO burger starting at $6. Made for a fun combo. Came back for the smoked wings and enjoyed their sauces. They are smoked 2.5 hours then flash fried. Also had their crispy pork belly flatbread which had great flavor. The bread was super soft which I enjoyed. If you're looking for it to be crispy like pizza dough I'd ask for maybe a little longer of a cook. Super nice staff and going to continue to explore their menu!

I luckily won tickets for a friend and I to enjoy a Friendsgiving brunch here. The brunch was very good, I loved the private event and I thought it went very smoothly.

This is a BBQ restaurant but none of the food tastes like BBQ. No smokey flavor, no smoke rings, was this food cooked in an oven? Or was it cooked on a propane grill? Either way, , the food was cold, the ribs were tough and fatty. It took a while for it to come out. The white sauce is not Alabama white sauce, it was yellow and had no flavor. The Carolina sauce was mustard based, I assume because it was yellow, however they should have specified. There are two types of Carolina BBQ sauce, north and south, mustard or vinegar. But none of that matters because the sauces were flavorless. We even got the spicy added at the end, nope, it wasn't spicy and it was bland. The brisket was a thick slab of shoe leather. No flavor, not sure how they achieved a bark on the brisket and it came out tasting like NOTHING. Did I mention it was cold, because it was cold. The pulled pork, had zero flavor and it was GRAY in color. Gray meat is never a good thing which means it may have been boiled or parboiled before they put it in the oven or propane grill, both have the same effect. All the meat tasted just like that, meat. Really tough and unflavored meat. There were three positives, Our server was super NICE The pickled cucumbers and onions were AMAZING. The corn cake was EPIC. Last thing I'd like to say, I did not order any alcohol but that seems to be a big focal point. So I guess if you drink, come here, get a 32oz margarita, get drunk and you won't notice the disgusting food. The food LOOKS good when it comes out but then I realized there was no smell, no warmth, and the colors of the meat were off. Oh their bathrooms are nice and very clean.

The food was pretty good. Came out hot and crispy. The wings are great and are a good size. The aerfice is fantastic. They were training someone and the new person did great. It's located on e Carson at so parking is where ever you can find a place. As long as you don't go during peak hours of young drinkers you'll be fine. The inside is rustic and modern. Nice bathrooms and nice layout of the place. I recommend if you want some.good food and plenty of drink options.

Fresh smoked meats and other "bar foods" as their instagrams says. The BBQ, burgers, fried chicken and waffle fries are all fan favorites! Brunch is offered on weekends with a great menu as well.

My only complaint is the barstools have seen better days. a minor detail that really takes away from the experience.

Stopped in here, not by choice, but because Urban Tap was unexpectedly closed & it was pouring/freezing rain and I needed to grab a quick bite for dinner before a show at Club Cafe. I was surprised how totally packed the place was on a Sunday evening at 6pm. I was also surprised there was a bouncer at the door. I guess I shouldn't be surprised when most everyone out evenings on Carson St is under age 30, so they do a lot of carding. This place was no exception. It was super loud & no one looked to be over 25. I also saw someone on YELP posted a photo detailing their rather extreme dress code, which was kind of weird for a restaurant. I was definitely a little skeptical but needed food, so got one of the remaining tiny booth tables next to the packed bar. I was given a menu within 5 minutes & my order was taken fairly promptly. They had a featured special & some special beers of the month so I went with a $4 Ale that was decent & ordered a turkey burger. I was pleasantly surprised that my turkey burger was actually quite delicious & the bun was super soft. It came with a huge pile of fresh waffle cut fries. Everything was hot. I got my tab promptly when I asked for it as well & was out of there within 45 minutes. As a patron who "isn't under 30" this place would not be my choice for evening dining. The noise level was deafening, like being in a club as opposed to a restaurant. But, my food & service were good despite the noisy packed atmosphere so I had to go with 4 stars. If you're under 30 you'll love the place, I'm sure.

The brunette mentioned she had only been there for five days, but you never would have known it. She did an excellent job checking on guests and making sure everyone was taken care of. I ordered the 3-bone rib dinner with mac and cheese. I'll admit, I'm a bit of a rib snob, but these were outstanding. They had the perfect glaze with a nice crisp on the outside, weren't overcooked, and were so tender but not falling off the bone without being overly fatty. Easily some of the best ribs I've ever had. The mac and cheese was good, but it was spicier than I could handle. It would be nice if there were a non-spicy option available. We enjoyed a few beers, great food, and sat out on the patio listening to blues music on a beautiful summer evening. It was the perfect atmosphere, and I can't wait to come back. The only downside is that parking can get a little tight when they're busy, but it's well worth the visit.

Food and drinks are ready in just a few minutes and the dining area is ample with clean tables and clean floors. An upgrade of plastic utensils would be appreciated however. Parking can be a problem but there is some to be found on the other side of the street but lacks a crosswalk so be very careful.

The meats are smoked daily with a blend of hickory, cherry, and apple woods. Dining in, carry-out, delivery, and catering are available. So far, my husband and I have eaten three lunches from Big Rigs BBQ--two for dining in and one as a $250 takeout for family. We have tried most of the menu items and really enjoyed all of them. I have not yet tried every BBQ restaurant in the Pittsburgh region, but so far, Big Rig's BBQ is our favorite. For meats, we ate the brisket (5 stars, very tender and flavorful), baby-back ribs (5 stars, fall-off-the-bone and tasty), pulled-pork shoulder (4.5 stars, nicely smoked and goes well with the many sauces), original kielbasa (4.5 stars), cheddar-jalapeno kielbasa (4.5 stars), pineapple kielbasa (5 stars, an explosion of unique, delicious flavors), pork-belly burnt ends (4.5 stars, tender with a very flavorful sauce), turkey (4.5 stars, juicy and flavorful), and smoked turkey-club sandwich (5 stars, my husband loves its cheddar, bacon, lettuce, and dijonaise). For sides, we ate the mac and cheese (4 stars, American, cheddar, and pepper jack), potato salad (4.5 stars, with bacon, scallions, cheddar cheese, bell peppers, and mustard), cornbread (5 stars, with cheddar cheese and BBQ honey butter), BBQ baked beans (5 stars, very flavorful ingredients), and brussels sprouts (5 stars, tasty sauce). This BBQ restaurant also serves some salads. I ate a BBQ salad (5 stars) with my choice of protein, Nashville Chicken Breast. This salad might be the most loaded-up that I have ever eaten. Fresh lettuce and tomatoes as well as generous amounts of chicken, bacon, cornbread croutons that look ~2" in diameter, cheese, onions, and cranberries.

I greatly regret having to write this review. I contacted Two Brothers Barbeque some time ago to…read morecater my wedding. Initially, I had a wonderful experience. The individual I worked with, Terri, was initially responsive and accommodating and made me feel at ease about booking this business. I put down a deposit in early November. Later in November I reached out for some more information to aid in the planning of my wedding reception. However, I never heard back. I was not unduly concerned because this is a barbeque business and I thought this might be their "off-season". I assumed they would get back to me when they were able. I did not hear back from Two Bothers Barbeque, even when springtime rolled around, so I called them a couple of times. I did not hear back. At this point, I got concerned because our wedding was in only three months. I was eager to speak to them to have some questions answered. My fiancé suggested we drive to the business, so we could connect with them. When we drove to the business, we were rather dismayed to see many signs stating "Business for Sale." There was a phone number on one of the "For Sale" signs, so I called it and said that I had seen their "For Sale" signs and was interested in talking about this. At this time, I did not tell them my name or state that I was a client. I got a return call pretty immediately. When I received the call-back, I explained that I had emailed and called the business without hearing back, and that I was concerned that the business was for sale, as we were counting on them catering our wedding. The gentleman on the phone (the owner, I believe) said they were retiring and were winding down the business, but that they planned to honor all scheduled events. He said he would have Terri call me. I was extremely relieved - but only for a short while. Terri called after several minutes. I explained the situation to her. I told her that I was concerned because I hadn't received a response to my email or phone calls and then saw that the business was for sale. She said that the catering part of the business was for sale, as well as their food trucks, but they would still honor their contracts for the summer. However, she then said she would just refund my money if I was uncomfortable. I was taken aback - I had said nothing about cancelling the contract and was really just nervous about the prospect of the business being sold. I received no kind of apology for the lack of communication. Terri said that she hadn't responded to my email in November because I sent it too close to Thanksgiving and that she never received my phone calls. At some point during this conversation, Terri became quite hostile, raising her voice and becoming accusatory. She blamed me for the lack of contact and did not take responsibility for failing to respond. The situation became truly unsettling; in fact, may I say, deeply shocking. Terri did say that she had some medical concerns, which I do sympathize with. However, I have had a number of medical issues, some of them quite serious, and I have never treated a client this way. Ultimately, I stated that she could cancel the booking and send the refund, which was what she appeared to want to do in the first place. It really seemed like she did not care too much about the business or leaving us in a precarious position of having no caterer for our wedding. I left the phone call truly bewildered and told my fiancé I was sorry and that I had lost the caterer for our wedding. He said, "You shouldn't be sorry. You did absolutely nothing wrong." (He had been listening to this conversation.) We went home and brainstormed new possibilities, and, luckily, found another local business that was more than willing to cater for us. They have been a dream to work with. I know this review probably does not matter because Two Brothers is retiring from catering, but it is important that people be careful when dealing with this company. If you have a current date booked with them, please considering making a back-up plan. I'm not sure this business cares to uphold its promises, nor does it take responsibility for its own actions. Please be prepared for the worst-case scenario.
