Took a friend some weeks later to try the gin. She too loved it. And we are now big fans of their coffee liqueur. I will definitely be back.

What I thought was a quick drink, turned into hanging out with the folks here talking about football mainly. There are TVs here so college football was on as well. In my opinion, crown has a wide selection of quality, distilled spirits, at what I find to be reasonable prices. It is possible to find unique and interesting items at their stores. It is a chain, and they do have a robust searchable website presence. The staff are generally very helpful. So, if there is something in particular, you're looking for, and can't find it at a crown liquor location you're visiting just ask. Often the staff will be able to recommend another location and perhaps even be able to check with staff at that other location to see if the alternative store has what you're looking for.

After 5 minutes, I went up and asked them if someone was going to let me look, and the response was that they could let me "grab what I wanted" but that they didn't have time to let me look. Very disappointing experience. I had heard some really cool things about this place, and made the 1.5 hour drive from Louisville just to check it out.
