Terrible atmosphere- AVOID! The old man refused to rent a lot to to me because I am a combat wounded totally disabled veteran with an ADA Certified Service Dog. He discriminated against me because of my disability! The old man made up some excuse not to rent to me, that they don't accept motorhomes or RVs older than 10 years when every single occupied lot had a motorhome or RV that was ten years old. I posted a photo of my motorhome- try to tell me it's too old- look at it. I intend to file a federal ADA violation complaint against them and hold them accountable for their blatant discrimination- standby!

Pretty nice campground. Thankfully they do have pullthrus but they have no trees. Plants, shrubs or seperation of any kind. I know it's the desert but from the pictures it looked more like an oasis than a parking lot. That aside it was great though. Nice bathrooms and showers. The office/store is nice. Full hooks are always great and this place has them. This place is very close to one of the Joshua Tree National Forest entrances which is wonderful and why we wanted to stay. It's TwentyNine Palms. So it's a nice park in a high desert setting.

Booked a 1 bedroom cottage for 3 nights for my first trip to Joshua Tree. Kitchen was nicely stocked with bowls/plates/utensils, gas stovetop, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer. Could've used a sponge to do dishes more effectively. Living room was nice, spacious. DirecTV with a nice selection of channels, albeit on a small TV. AC units in the living room and bedroom were nice and cold. Bed was a bit stiff and springy and a bit small for 2, but it got it done. I had some kind of wifi while I was there, but I wouldn't guarantee it since it wasn't the same network they suggest. Try a couple of the non-password protected ones and you might get lucky like I did. There's a grill and patio area in the back, but we didn't use it. Great rates, nice place, and great location to get to the north side of Joshua Tree National Park. I always appreciate a place to stay with a full kitchen. Would definitely come back here.

This place is good enough. It has a golf course that we didn't use. The rv sites are standard full hook up and fairly level. We didn't use any of the facilities as we were just passing through. It is very good for visiting Joshua Tree.

Probably the nicest resort in 29 palms. The people are nice. The amenities are good.

Ask the Community - TwentyNine Palms Resort

Is this campground dog friendly? And how far to hikes or attractions?

Yes, dog friendly on the RV sites, not in the cottages

Premium vs standard RV reservation? What's the difference?

The premium sites are located nearer to the facilities or are pull through sites, also a few that back-up to the gold course...most of the standard sites are back-ins along the wall parallel to Amboy Road....

Does anyone know if TMobile has any service at the campsite, I need it for work purposes?

Jim is absolutely Right. If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call me at 760-367-3320. Thank you and Thasnk you Jim al.

The woman at the front desk was incredibly rude, dismissive, and disrespectful. Instead of feeling welcomed, I felt like I was an inconvenience for simply asking questions. As a disabled Army veteran, I value businesses that treat people with courtesy, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I've rarely encountered an employee who made me feel so unwelcome. Family campgrounds should be places that promote hospitality and make guests feel appreciated. Based on my experience, this campground failed to meet those expectations. I chose to take my business elsewhere and support a place that respects families, veterans, and potential customers. I hope management takes customer service seriously and addresses how guests are treated because no one should leave a simple inquiry feeling disrespected.

I think the experience would be better for everyone if visitors and long-term residents were placed in separate areas whenever possible. Other than that, we had a wonderful time and would definitely consider returning.
