It turns out I was actually in the store waiting behind them to pay for my items when her friend who was in front of me was trying to return some items without a receipt. I do remember the sales lady (Abby) going out of her way trying to find the receipt within their system. Molly 's friend gave three different names under which the receipt could have been found so finally after the third search it was found and it turns out she had purchased those clothes in September! After Abby had printed the receipt and showed it to her, she snatched it out of her hand and kept it. So she was trying to make a return 3.5 months later. They told her it was too long and they no longer had those clothes on the floor. The lady was nasty and took off in a huff. I doubt anyone followed them out either to encourage them to speak to the manager. She was a pill! I've always found everyone here helpful and kind and fair.

I tried on some jeans, and one of the younger, trendier workers that was assisting near the dressing rooms, I think her name was Robin, totally helped me style them. She was so amazing! The prices are somewhat fair, similar to goodwill, some exceeding depending on the brand, but cheaper than a designer consignment store. All of the clothes are donated, and what's even cooler is that all of the workers are volunteers. This one in Thousand Oaks has the most wonderful community of older women who use their time to give back to the community. They're all so nice and kind, and are always up for a conversation. Additionally, they have jewelry, accessories, houseware, and trinkets. The hours are a bit tricky, but it's worth checking out if you are free.

I understand businesses have policies, but I was disappointed by the lack of compassion and flexibility, especially for a disabled customer. The main one that keeps me going back is Aaliyah's Collection's booth. I love the stuff in her collection. I'm loving the vases and decor she offers. She created some gift boxes and in these boxes one of the items was a candle from this store. The candle was so cute it had been on my mind to come to this store in person. Wandered in on a Friday lunch break and I was instantly in awe of all the cute clothing, gifts and customizable jewelry in the back. Lorrie one of the owners was in the shop and she couldn't have been lovelier. She was so welcoming and allowed me to shop around at my leisure. She also entertained my many questions that I had about their charm bar and she was so sweet answering them and helping me understand the concept so that I could design my own necklace. After some searching I picked out a chain that fit my style and then grabbed a handful of different charms that represented me. Lorrie put the necklace together for me and helped me so much! She laid out the charms in an order that would hang well and looked cute, then she got to work on crafting me my necklace. This is one of my new and favorite custom jewelry pieces to date. If you are looking for something fun and customizable, you definitely need to make your own necklace or bracelet with Nash. I was happy to score this pretty jewelry piece and also walked out with a cute aperol spitz pillow that they had on sale. A total steal. Very cute gifts and small home goods items here. Also I really like their clothes and they have a fitting room in the back. What's awesome about their clothes here as they have a variety of sizes which makes this store and their clothing feel very inclusive for all shapes and sizes.
