I love the Chop House Restaurant. They have good food reasonably priced. I've also stayed there and had a nice room with comfortable bed. It's a quick in and out casino not big like Winstar but you do win money. The staff is very friendly too.

Absolutely terrible experience at Comanche Red River Hotel & Casino. I've been coming here on and…read moreoff for 6+ years and it's consistently disappointing. In the past the staff made the organization but lately it is easily one of the most run down and trashiest casinos in Oklahoma ... even compared to gas station casinos. Most of the employees are disinterested and mentally absent across the board. This causes the remaining OG staff to suffer and pull an extra load. For example ... You'll be spending money at the tables on a Friday night with friends and everyone still has to get up and walk to the bar for a drink because of the staff. The place is beyond filthy. Trash, cups, and vouchers are all over the floor. On a Friday night ... There are also crumbs or mud in the carpet in the front gaming floor and this is paired with a strong smoke smell. Although this does not include everyone vaping everywhere in the other side of the casino floor. Not to mention the random chairs scattered around. Also to re state a prior post that has not been addressed. The chips are still completely worn out, especially the 5s, 25s and 100s. Building a new pool doesn't fix any of this. The whole place feels like a money grab without even trying to make it a good experience. Advice ---- cut off people who are clearly too drunk, but don't mess with people who aren't. Getting cut off while sober and focusing on my game has happened to me more than a handful of times over the years on the tables. Each time I was never close to intoxication and also had a room at the facility. My Brother Tyler Decker is the Chief of Police in Fredonia Kansas and my Fionce's father is a Lieutenant for the Johnson county sheriffs department in Cleburne Tx. I believe my family and I understand what it means to be intoxicated. Please at least try to make it fun when taking people's hard earned money. No disrespect to the Comanche Tribe, just the casino. Also... why are there so many officers / security present here now? Something seems completely off here and it's not just me ... Please go to any other casino but this one!

The staff was friendly and accomodating and the meal we had at Apache Grill was fantastic. We enjoyed the casino as well. Only critique is how loudly the room doors slammed, waking you late at night or early in the morning. Overall, was happy with our stay and would stay again.

We received a king sized room on the fifth floor and it was quite spacious. we did notice that the wood finish on many of the surfaces were chipped, and overall the room was really showing its age. The mattress itself felt like an old spring mattress, and it felt like I could feel the individual springs in the mattress; I didn't get all that great of sleep while I was here because of that. There was no safe in our room that I could find, so we kept our valuables on us at all times. Apart from the rooms, on check in we had some hiccups with the staff who had issues with our check in process, so we had to wait around for 10 minutes while they resolved things. Afterwards, they realized they did not have us do an incidental, so they had to call us to bring us back to the front desk to get it from us several hours after we checked in. They said we could come by at our convenience, but we received two more phone calls within half an hour while we were out enjoying our time. Their mistake became our problem, and we did not appreciate that. Aside from that, the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I felt very happy talking with most of the staff there for anything we needed. The hotel itself is nice, with its common areas and casino area very clean. There was no smoking inside so we enjoyed breathing clean air when we visited the casino. There is a grill that is open many hours of the day there, and a dinner restraint as well is open in the evenings. Is it nearby several restaurants, so food is easily accessible which we really liked. Overall, it was a good hotel, but we're not sure we'd stay here again unless we just wanted to conveniently gamble our whole trip without needing to leave.

The restaurant and Bar provide amazing options so you don't need to leave the hotel to find dinner! I love their hamburger! Delicious! This last week was my 3rd stay here! The best perk for Elite Status travelers: the Delta Pantry! They made fresh chocolate chip cookies on Wednesday night. I was also surprised to see vanilla ice cream cups in the pantry... 15 seconds in the microwave and that cookie melted like it made for holding that ice cream! The combination was a sweet treat! Other provisions: snacks, bottled water, bottled sparkling water, juice, canned Pepsi products. For breakfast, they provide various muffins, bagels, an pastries. They have cream cheese packets and a variety of creamers or almond milk for your freshly brewed coffee! I am usually here for 3+ days at a time, the staff make this place feel like home. The housekeeping staff are the absolute best! So friendly! So fun to talk to! I wish I would have asked your name! This will always be my crash pad when I'm in Wichita Falls! The biggest problem was apparent dishonesty by the young man in the office. When asked about the breakfast advertised, he assured us there would be biscuits and gravy, pastries, cold cereal, and juices. In the morning - all they had was bad coffee. Nothing else. The young man in the office said they had a problem with a delivery. There were appliances there like a big multi-cereal dispenser, but no present breakfast. The second bit of low credibility was when we were looking for the ice machine and he indicated there had been an electrical problem the previous night and the machine was not currently working --but considering Sara C's review pic from Feb 2025 -"Out of Order. Across the Street Ice Machine Working" -I wonder if this is a continuous problem rather than a glitch from the night before. There were a few other problems: * The deadbolt was inoperable. The door seemed warped out of alignment and no amount of pushing or wrestling the door up or down allowed the dead bolt to engage. (We were tired, it was late, and we didn't feel like demanding a new room so we piled luggage next to the door as an alarm.) * The swimming pool was partially filled with brownish-green stagnant water. I remember the pool being out of service on a previous stay here, but don't remember if it was in this sad shape both of our previous visits. * One of the lights by the bed was burned out or otherwise nonfunctioning. The "Hotel" is situated conveniently on the highway we were traveling on, but we will look elsewhere if and when we are driving through Vernon again.

Oh well - I don't hold it against the hotel at all. The reason I'm not maxing out the 5-star scale is the lackluster breakfast. Overcooked scrambled eggs and biscuits, watery gravy, completely out of bacon - yes, these are first-world problems, but I've stayed at dozens of Holiday Inn Expresses that didn't have these issues. Breakfast aside, it was a good stay, and I would stay here again.

Penny, the front desk clerk when we checked in, is absolutely amazing. I even sent up a compliment to corporate so if the general manager reads this , please acknowledge you have a fantastic employee and she needs to be appreciated. She's like your grandma!!! And she kept mentioning the hot breakfast and we are looking forward to it even though it's just going to be the standard fare but Penny made it sound like the best breakfast in the state. The rooms were spacious, bright, and clean. We love the way soap is provided even though it doesn't smell the best but certainly cuts back on single use plastic. The room smelled fresh and updated. My only question is why the pot and oven mitt in a room that doesn't have a stove. Finally, the pool was open. We were promised a pool o Fort Worth but it was broken. The pool room was really warm. The hot tub was a little too hot but the pool was a good temperature. And all chairs were lounge chairs. They even provided wipes to clean before and after use. I can't ask for more. If I were to ever pass through again and need a room, I would go out of my way to stay here. Keep up the good work!!
