Excellent buffet for the $. I don't understand all of these bad reviews. The Turkey was REAL , the Prime rib was cooked very well. The buffalo wings were excellent. The cherry pie was delicious. The ambrosia salad was almost perfect. My wife liked the ham. My children enjoyed the pizza , Mac and cheese and also the desserts . We will definitely be going back next thanksgiving. The seafood buffet (only on Wednesdays) was amazing at that price point. If you have a players card, guests will receive a 10% discount. Reg price $39.99 but with discount the dinner was $35.99 + tax Crab legs, oysters and prime rib were fresh. I highly recommend this buffet especially at this price. read more

They stop serving crab legs, the buffet is done for. They do offer a $36 bucket of crab legs, but I haven't tried it yet. This place is on the pricey side, and that extends to other spots inside the casino--like $78 for a ribeye at the steakhouse called Zenith. I passed on that--no way! It was empty in there when I checked it out, too. Honestly, the only real saving grace is the eatery at the sports bar--it's the only place that might show some mercy on your wallet. read more

We were invited to tag along to the Wednesday night seafood buffet. I couldn't believe the line to get in! It goes from 4-11 so if you don't want to wait, plan on an early meal! Once we were in, I couldn't believe the amount of crab on my plate! The crab was good enough, especially considering the meal was only $20 per person. However, the star of the show was the fry bread! The Rolling Romantics stopped here on the first of July to get some rest and a good meal something different from just the road stops. Also the opportunity to get up to $100 free play was advertising as well. I got a club membership and got a chance to spin the Wheel. I won $25 wasn't bad. My Baby won $15.. We meet some nice people while here, they were also truck drivers. I most say that the Buffet was small but it offered some good selections but we weren't able to enjoy it because it was late and most of the food was already put up. I would have rather took my time and enjoyed the Buffet earlier if we weren't giving the wrong time. Two Buffets were $31.48 and if you have points you can redeem them. Now getting to the slot machines; that's an entire other subject. I choose to play the buffaloes and wage a bet of .50 and the machine started playing by itself. I put the service button on and it took a while for me to receive any service. Finally after a very long wait Ms Lucia Matt addressed my concerns and refunded me my money in free play on the card and also offered to give us a complimentary meal from the coffee shop since it was the only thing open. This Young lady, Ms Lucia Matt, exemplified what is like to care about your customers. We Thank U... Also the great customer service didn't stop there I went to use their restroom and Isabel greeted me and acknowledged that I needed to dry my hands and handed me a napkin. We ended up staying a little longer and so we able to get breakfast at the restaurant in which if you are a CDL holder you receive extra perks. I was able to get the steak egg and cheese sandwich to go;?which is not the policy to allow food to go out but Juneneth made an exception since we had to get back on the road... I also explained to her that I don't care for food heated and prepared in the microwave and she offered to have my bacon prepared in the kitchen fresh. Soggy unflavored veggies. Tacquitos so hard I had to break them by hand and they were empty. Crab legs with no meat. Thecsrcond night was even worse. My date could not even eat the prime rib itxwaa sovcold and dried out.. And it was only 6 p.m. at night. I will never go there again. I font care of we were there with free bedroom. This buffet was awful. I'm vegan and didn't expect very many options but was hopeful that I could at least have some pasta. I asked one of the servers if she knew whether the pasta had butter in it and she said she wasn't sure because all the chefs cook everything different. When I asked if she could go check for me, she said she couldn't which I find ridiculous as I've never once had any establishment say no. It wasn't even busy when I asked. Thankfully my diet isn't due to allergies. It's terrifying to think that an entree could be free of a food ingredient one day but not the next. We stayed at the Twin Arrows for four nights and I was dead set on not going to the buffet based on the Yelp reviews. Since the hotel is about 20 minutes from any other restaurant though we had limited choices and my wife and I broke down and decided to try it after the 2nd night. I am assuming they renovated the buffet since the previous reviews because I thought the food was really good. My wife and I liked it so much we went again a 2nd time. The only reason I am not giving a 5 star is because the price and the limited amount of options. You can go to golden corral for less money and have a lot more options. That being said it was $29.38 for dinner for two adults including drinks and tax. We absolutely loved the Indian fry bread with honey, couldn't get enough! The pork tamales were delicious and trust me I know tamales, I am Mexican and get them quite often. The desert was awesome too! The rest of the items were mostly good. I see some complaints about the prime rib being raw, but they offer to cook it more if you want so that's not a problem. I thought the prime rib was good! The Chicken Parmesan was dry and not good, that was the only bummer. read more

During Thanksgiving day most place would be closed and casino would be one of the places that sure would be opened. For 14.99 a Thanksgiving dinner with prime rib and turkey it cannot go wrong. As some review mentioned there were not a lot of selection. The prime rib was flavorful. I had two slice of prime rib that already made my meal worth the money. The turkey was tender and flavorful, I had the dark meat. Sweet mashed yam was good. The mini tamale was good too. There were not a lot of salad or fruit. Lamb stew could be tough and flavorless but added some salt and pepper from the table would greatly improve the taste. Soda and coffee were self service. Dessert bar only had a so so selection. Decided to try this place after playing Bingo. We were disappointed with the selection, but what we did have was pretty decent. I tried the pepperoni pizza, a red potato, green bean fries, a chicken wing, mashed potatoes, a corn muffin, apricot cobbler, and cheesecake. The chicken wing was the star! They were hot and juicy. I loved the buffet here. Highlights were fresh jicama and fruit at salad bar. Pork Posole and lamb stew amazing. Green chili stew great surprise with fry bread. Prime rib was ok but the pork sausage was the best. The guacamole was the real deal. Desert bar was full of selections that were amazing. The triple chocolate pie was the winner. All this for $14.95. 14.99 per person is reasonable but this isnt the best buffet you'll eat at. The baked chicken was dry, chewy and cold. The salad buffet looked like the lettuce hadn't been cleaned and was old. Had to try it but not by choice. It was the only restaurant open on a Tuesday night in the Twin Arrows Resort. The buffet was just alright. For $14.95 you were given a very limited selection of food. I don't think there was a discount for my 8 year old either. I'm pretty sure I paid full price for him. Prime rib was very rare and I did not finish which is such a waste because I love Prime Rib. The Taco bar was pretty good. I'm not even sure why they had a tip jar when you paid. They didn't take drink orders or offer refills, just cleared plates, which was fine. Just remember that when adding tip up front. In the future, I would probably head into Flagstaff for a meal. read more

My family and I tried the buffet tonight. We came before they had the re grand opening and we said we would not eat at the buffet again. We decided to come back and try it again. We were seated quickly. We went to dish out food and none of the food is labeled. I don't have any food allergies but it would not be good for someone who has food allergies. My husband and boys said the prime rib was dry and rubbery. I tried the tacos and accidentally dished out horseradish thinking it was sour cream. Later I saw the sour cream in the back row of unlabeled selections. The pizza was good. I tried a soup that had potatoes and beef in it (was good). There are two other soups to choose from but nothing is labeled. I tried the tamales they are a good snack size but it has no flavor. My husband said the bread sticks don't taste good. SO my boys and i decided to try it and the bread sticks have no flavor. We were hoping it would taste like an Olive Garden bread stick. The salad bar looked good. The dessert area looked good. Many selections to choose from but nothing labeled. So I decided to stick with the basic apple pie and it was delicious. All in all...we don't plan on going back to the buffet. This is the worst buffet I have eaten in any casino in the country. I thought a casino should serve a quality cooked food. I was wrong. I should have read reviews from others before coming to eat at this joint. Majority of the food is terrible. It's even worst than Walmart's food. The casino should get rid of the current head chef and hire a chef who knows how to cook food. It seems like all the chefs who are currently working at the Grand Falls Buffet do not care how the food is supposed to taste. Everything is over cooked, bland, stale and dry. Please do not eat at this buffet. You will be sorry and disappointed. I will never come back to this place again even someone offers me to eat for free. Stay way from this place at all cost. I forgot to mention the service at this buffet is beyond bad. It's on the Christmas day and the service staffs did not have any good spirits. Everybody was grouchy.
