The food at the salad bar was old and dried up. The mac n cheese was clumped together. All soups had a thin film across the top cuz they've sat for a while. The chicken wings were a bit dry and extra crunchy. Taco meat was sitting in grease. I think I may skip out on the salad bar at this location if I ever come back. My steak, cheese toast & rice pilaf was perfect. Steak was cooked as I ordered it (medium). The server was nice. She got me iced tea refills when I needed. She was grateful for her tip (given beforehand, so maybe that's why she was extra nice???). I would eat here again, but I would think twice about getting salad bar.

During lunch and dinner, they always serve burgers and fries, pizza, Mongolian style Chinese food, among others. That being said, there is still enough variety to make people happy. First, they have a sandwich bar where students can have someone make their own custom sandwich, there is a vegetarian vendor that serves different items everyday, They even have theme weeks, where they cook up international dishes. In my younger days I would have pounded down one of their BBQ specialties and topped it off with dessert, but as a senior I no longer eat like that. The AAC Roll, which includes avocado, asparagus, and cucumber, was pretty good and something I really liked, although the avocado flavor was very dominant. The Oshinko Roll, made with Japanese-style pickled radish, was just okay. The Sweet Potato Roll turned out to be very delicious. It wasn't just plain sweet potato on the inside; it was made with tempura-style sweet potato, which made a big difference. Lastly, we ordered the Hibachi Steak, which came with a salad and egg fried rice. I loved it, especially because the sauce on the steak had a really good balance of savory and sweetness. However, when we arrived, the staff gave off a strong "we forgot about this order" vibe, and we ended up waiting twice as long more.
