I haven't taken many pictures over the ten years we have been going but will say we have NEVER had a bad meal at Buttered Bunns. Nearly everything is homemade and absolutely everything is very good! And I'm a super critic! I'm attaching the pics I do have and will add more as I go, to help the business. They've always been open for breakfast and lunch 7-2 and it's amazing...but now are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday until 8pm. Full menu...but the specials are AYCE catfish on Thursday, steak on Friday and chicken on Saturday. My point in this review is to try and get Buttered Bunns enough business to continue the Thurs-Sat evening hours. It's a 90 day trial that they are doing. And let's face it, dinner in Miami is your choice of numerous Mexican restaurants (FYI the newest one is more expensive and no better that the smaller places), and Mia Bella - a mediocre Itialian joint, casinos, fast food, or Montana Mikes which made a brief rally that I praised here on yelp a few years ago and then they promptly plunged again to the home of extremely overpriced crap! As I say this I also remember Woodys. Always overpriced but the food was good when Jeff owned it. New owners (same as Main Street Cafe) will drive it into the ground soon enough. We do have a few pizza places that aren't national chains but none of them offer anything exciting as far as toppings. Same as or less than the chain places...and Cruisin 66, the new wood fired place is the biggest disappointment of all as far as toppings go. Oh and we did have a phenomenal chicken place -Wing Club- (wings, sandwiches, wraps) until last week when the city condemned their rented building after just giving them a license to operate in said building a few months ago. Talk about some sh*t there!! I think they are getting a food truck now so kiss that one good-bye. Back to Buttered Bunns who has always been good... Consistent, homemade, real, excellent service. We live in the next town over so it's a 30 minute drive for us but we have been doing it each week to support their new evening hours. Please do it with us to help this fabulous small business succeed! I can tell you that you can't go wrong with any breakfast...my fav is two eggs over medium, hash browns crisp, sausage or bacon, and hotcakes! So good!! Lunch is so hard to choose! The chicken strips are bomb! So are their sandwiches and "dinner" options too! The AYCE catfish tonight was the best I've had in a 50 mile radius, or more! Several casinos in Miami do AYCE catfish but it doesn't even compare! And the sides at Buttered Bunns are SO much better! The dining area is open and I love listening to the regulars talking with the staff and each other...we go once or twice a week but are from out of town and only a few servers know us and only from our visits to the restaurant. I think some folks must be there every day, especially for breakfast, but they also know the staff outside the restaurant. Anyway...it's a great place to eat and a Small Business in the small town of Miami. I hope this review sends you in to see them!! Oh!! Also...their pie is fabulous! Especially the coconut cream. Best pie crust I've had in a restaurant ever! Good fillings are common but usually come in a crappy crust. Not at Buttered Bunns, their pie crust is tender, flaky and flavorful! Seat yourself, a waitress quickly stopped by with menus and took a drink order. The menu is pretty big and includes breakfast and a kids menu. I ordered hot tea and am so happy to have received a cup of tea with a pot of tea back-up! Yes, all the tea please. The lemons on the side added to my tea joy. It's the small things. My SO ordered himself an open faced roastbeef sandwich. This is shredded roast on top of a sweet roll smothered in gravy with a side of mashed potato. He certainly ate it like it was tasty. (I did confirm - it is tasty.) I went with an a la carte breakfast of two eggs and one pancake. The pancake had a slightly sweet taste and is fluffy. The eggs were cooked perfectly 'over easy'. You can tell they are cooked as eggs should be over a low heat - no scorch marks on the outer edge. Bathrooms are in the back left corner and are cleanest where it matters most. Diaper station in the ladies room. During our visit many of the guests knew each other and chatted amongst themselves. All the staff we came in contact with were friendly. They kept a close eye on all the guests making sure everyone had everything they needed. All together a good stop.

At the bartender's suggestion, I ordered the Chicken Genovese and it was SO GOOD! The sauce was a combo or Alfredo & Marinara and the chicken was tender and lightly seasoned. Enough for two meals. The kids ordered spaghetti and meatballs which was a very hefty portion and a large meatball, enough to feed a small adult for only $7-8! They were very happy. Please don't change anything, especially that bun...it is amazing! I'll order my fries crispy next time but what we got was very good and I love that they are made in house! Prices were fair, one thought though would be to lower the cost of iced tea. We used to always get pop or tea with our meals but now only get water. And I see so many tables doing the same. I don't know what a restaurants cost is for pop now but I'll never pay $3 for it. Tea is cheap to make and could be a much lower price and I think the local community would appreciate that. Next thought is that we liked the pool table in the side room. Maybe add a dart board and a game or two when you start serving beer? Kind of like the vibe at OMG Lounge in Owasso (amazing burger and fries). So our overall opinion of the entire meal at Downtown Grill was very positive and we are super thankful to have someplace in town that we like instead of having go to Bluejacket, Chetopa, Edna or further. We ordered the walleye entree and the grilled tuna. The sauce on the walleye was a little sweet for me so I would order it on the side next time. But the fish was perfectly cooked.
