After getting a second opinion from two dentists, AND their in-house periodontist, my initial assessment was correct. These people either have no idea what they are doing, or they are scamming people at the cost of their teeth and/or insurance. Always start non-invasive, & non-surgical. They didn't do what they should have done, and wanted to jump straight into surgery. Way to much, when a simple cleaning fixed my issue. I'm actually glad they refused to do my cleaning, there's no telling what damage they would have caused. To sum it up, my second exam revealed my dental issue is no where near as bad as they made it out to be. They had me worried for nothing. There were a lot of red flags, and I'm glad I trusted my gut. Do not go to this place. They are rude and unprofessional. There's no need to shame someone for having to cancel appointments due to insurance changes. The cancellations even occurred before the window and made clear at reasonable times. No need to bring it up every 5 minutes with different nurses. Information is supposed to be kept confidential and no need for everyone else to hear so why shout when the patient is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU?! Also when a patient is saying that they're in pain, the nurse yelling and stopping saying, "What is it? I'm not doing anything!" is BEYOND ME. If someone is in pain from your lack of knowledge on how to use the medical tools correctly, is crazy. Why blame someone when they tell you they're hurting. UNPROFESSIONAL. Apparently, there is a common problem here on how this staff treats guest, and need some training on basic customer service. Says a lot coming from a medical place that deals with people's teeth. I love this office and all the girls that work there. Been there 10 years with no issues. Always run on time and listen to my concerns. Never had any problems with my treatment and the injections have always been very gentle. This guys bad review is a joke!!! He's complaining about parking signs?? I should've told my family to run from this place when I had my wisdom teeth taken out and Dr Drake broke the teeth off at the roots. She tried getting the small pieces out of my gums and I was in so much pain as the lIttle medicine they gave me started to wear off. My dad had to drive me across town to another oral surgeon. Two years later; they did the unforgivable. My brother is autistic. He has issues getting ready and being on time. When my dad was in the hospital fighting terminal cancer, I was back in town, so I scheduled an appointment for myself and my brother. He had to reschedule from missing one earlier, and then we missed his appointment because that week my father was on his death bed. After he passed away, we get a letter saying he's not welcome back as a patient because he missed too many appointments. You would think they would make some concessions for his disability and our family situation, but instead of showing compassion (mind you, my father was also a patient of theirs!) they shut our family out. So if you or your family members have special needs or require extra care, please do not go here. read more

The staff here is great! I've had several appointments here and they've always been quick, precise, and very easy to talk to. I used to stress about money when it came to dental work but the payment plans they offer make it very easy to afford. Let me tell you about this place ..... I had a toothache from the weekend previous so I walked into their practice on a Monday in severe pain. This place not only turned me away and told me "We don't take walk-ins" but when I asked "what about an emergency; I have a sever toothache" I was firmly told "No!" Who does that? Apparently they have all the patients they needed. I was prepared to pay cash for my visit. They could have made good money off of me but instead the 2 "ladies" up front (especially the blonde with shoulder length hair) were both cold, callous and rude. When I asked to speak with their office manager, they replied with "she's not in yet." No, of course not. How convenient. If I could've given them a -5 stars I would have. Lesson learned, Twin Creek Dental, be kinder to those that are even walk-ins because the way you treated me gets you 1 star and even that is too much! Avoid this practice. Especially if you aren't an already patient of theirs AND you need emergency services. Avoid the embarrassment and humiliation of being turned away. I have already spread the word to my friends, family and colleagues. They just shook their head. read more

My daughter has seen Dr. Drake. My daughter saw the doctor for x-rays, teeth cleaning, cavity repair and four tooth extractions. The late cancellation fee of $50 for an appointment not canceled 72 hours in advance is absurd! Here's why....... It usually takes 1.5 - 2 months to be seen by the Dentist. A lot of life happens in 1.5-2 months! Strategically the reminder call is made 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. If canceled, the practice makes an easy $50! Like most busy professionals, my schedule is dynamic and therefore hard to predict days in advance, let alone a few months in advance. Therefore, I've had to reschedule a few times and was charged $50 once (thankfully they gave me a break on the first). I respect the policy but think it's a no-win for the patient and an easy $50 for the practice. A more compromising approach: 1. Change the reminder call from 24 hours to 72 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. At that time the patient can cancel and still be within the cancellation window. or 2. Change the cancellation window to 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Ensure the reminder call continues to occur 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. I understand that for every last minute cancellation, someone else is robbed of an opportunity to be seen by the Dentist. However, I just think something is wrong with the current cancellation policy. As for the doctor, medical staff, and customer service - Not Bad! read more

Dr. Drake and her staff are the best! They are always very professional and thorough. They will always give you the options and let you decide what is best for you based on your needs and finances. The office is very neat and clean. I always see the staff cleaning and wiping things down. They all use terminology that I can understand and don't make me feel dumb because I ask questions when I don't understand. They are very reasonably priced. They are understandably busy because of the quality of their work, but I can usually get in in a reasonable amount of time. I will recommend Twin Creek Dental to all of my friends and family! I went here as a new patient to have an overall exam and check out everything. No work needed to be done but i have a little gap between 2 teeth towards the back, that i would get certain food stuck. So since this would be a simple fix, i went in to have them fill it. when they did that, they made the decision to go a head and do a little work on the tooth next to the gap which involved filling and drilling. Since then (its been almost 4 months) i am not able to chew on that side of my mouth due to pain. I went back into them 3x to see if maybe it was alignment, no luck. They referred me to and endo. i asked since this is now going to accrue visit cost and possible root canal and crown with this new provider, if they were going to take some responsibility in the matter since this was an issue caused by them. the response i received "In the event a root canal is needed that is the patients responsibility of the patient. We could refund you the co-pay you made for the filling" ... what a joke, don't go there unless your willing to let them mess up and leave you with issues you have to deal with on your own. read more

Do not go here! They only care about money! My first visit the Dr. Drake, barely looked in my mouth, they took an X-ray and sent me off with the recommended root canal$$$$$ money up front yada yada. Called weeks later to see if I scheduled the root canal and I said no. I was charged for a partial observation @75$. Today I called because I broke a tooth and they just wanted me to come in so they could look at it and see how long it would take to fix it. Are you kidding me? I said if I come in I want it fixed, they said that's not how they do it. Ha . Then she proceeded to tell me I had an outstanding balance, I said yes 15$ she said there's a late fee and now it's 35$ oh no. NEVER AGAIN! Going back to my trusted Dentist in North O. read more
