Been a while since worked here no matter how far you go up the ladder when feeling like a hostile…read moreor racially divided environment there is no corporate number the way they treat the employees where do I start cna week ha was a joke no activities or parties w/2 pans of chicken for lord knows how many ppl the real party was given by a employee who does all activities out her pocket sometimes employees chip in on their own parties for the holidays not to mention she also pays out her pocket to give the best dining experience ever for the patients yet she can't get a raise which did I mention she pay for all this stuff with no budget or help from the higher up(not much) let's be fair the more money they save the bigger their bonus at the end of the end of the year they take anybody in just to fill beds and keep the numbers and if you got good insurance watch out they will keep you but O might I add release date patient kicked out their room to sit in common area in trash bags & pray someone come get you cause if not healed or insurance jacked or even after appeal you will sit there in the common area with nothing to do til someone come get you even the hospital don't throw ppl on the streets like animals 5 star they had to pay somebody cause dead roaches lay on the floor in hallways etc and poor maintenance guy he don't have much to work with at all he spray but yet they come back every Monday is hell cause they are in a panic about the state coming so the weak links take days off so they not compromised and all the fall guys left in the building don't let them fool you the nurse mgr is a LPN not RN who once told a worker who asked her to grab the wheelchair she is so hands off and don't care she looked and asked the 2 employees who me grab the wheelchair and they were both tied up @ the moment she will sit in her office walk around with her phone and not acknowledge when cna are gone off the floor lights going off she would rather have a worker do others job then have the ppl responsible for it leave off the floor and get missing did I mention she is scared of the employees to the fact other employees have told others how can someone hold a title that likes to harass employees that do their job many employees have left and never came back due to how she treat & talk she does not know how to treat the employees watched one lady leave and never come back because she wanted her to do a shower for the day before she frequently kept asking the patient about the shower because the patient decide she wanted it the next day she felt she was suppose to stop what she doing (leisure) and shower her which was super unfair but she didn't care she will watch you don't sit ever even to chart honey she will get you & activities I feel bad for her she has no budget and no help what is even sad they take her help to put on the floor and she left again with no help by herself so unfair have prn's but yet will short her things she want to do but not able to do at all the pay they don't pay for experience at all if you work here period better join the union they treat their animals at home better than they treat their people then lie to the new patients come you will have a single bed or you can eat like this etc lies lies and lies cause only reason food got half way decent is cause state do in the building anytime no single bed rooms unless you have a medical condition which many times cna's had to tell the patient not going to happen the portion of food given a 3yr old will probably throw the plate you can be the best worker no appreciation I have seen special diet needs not be met although administrator try her best on certain things to get things done not all the time but when the cats away the mice will play I can type for days on this place but this is satisfying for me cause the employees have no voice except certain ones are allowed to talk but if you express concern too much they will strip you then it turns into watching and goes on up they are super petty you can make any excuse necessary for this post but this is the truth and let's hope this is not swept under the rug like they do major issues such as nurse mgr mainly or any other higher up will single you out for your voiced concerns and any opinions not looking for nothing my mental was worth the leave when dealing be prayed up and guards up when working or putting your people in this place not looking for no response their is nothing can be said about this review it is based on facts this is what happen when no one can contact corporate and yes they will be wrecking their brains about this review who cares now you see how I felt when no one cared but yet the ones you are scared of you let get away with god knows what GOD BLESS & I'M always blessed and highly favored & it's ok if ignored I spoke for some of the ppl not all of them miss treated still there Have A Blessed Day

She can no longer walk around d. The point is that the place was great while she was able to do all those things herself. Now that she needs help for everything g it's just as bad as all the other places out there. Crappy help that they are afraid of because they can't afford to have them leave so they cater to the help Instead of to the patients. It's not as bad as other places though. But it's also not cheap.

The staff is wonderful and very caring, from the medical staff to the cleaning staff; everyone watches out for the residents and shows them respect in spite of their disease. The place is clean. They keep the residents busy. The best for me is that they communicate with me constantly and never make me feel like I'm bothering them. In fact, they thank ME for my time. The doctor there is wonderful. I just can't say enough about this place.

This was the dinner they just served me, which I refused. A half a slice of some unidentified deli meat, and one slice of cheese and two pieces of sandwich bread. Note the generous portion of potato chips. This is clearly a nutritionally designed/balanced meal to insure my body has the proper nutrients to sustain the 3 hours of intensive physical therapy scheduled for each day. Sarcasm intended. Let's see what each day holds in store for me. I will continue to refuse such substandard food service from this facility.

I want to specifically recognize Alissa Crawford, who went above and beyond to ensure my mother received the care she truly needed. Her advocacy, attentiveness, and personal investment made a meaningful difference in my mother's recovery and in our family's peace of mind. It was clear that Alissa genuinely cared, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. What moved me most was witnessing the level of humanity in the care provided. Therapists celebrated small victories that meant everything to our family. Nurses were consistently present, reassuring, and deeply compassionate--not only toward my mother, but toward us as well. We were never made to feel like a burden for asking questions or needing reassurance during such a difficult time. As her son, watching your parent fight to regain independence after a stroke is heartbreaking. TGH Rehabilitation Hospital gave my mother the support, structure, and encouragement she needed during one of the hardest chapters of her life--and they gave our family confidence and hope when we needed it most. This was, without question, the best care I have ever witnessed. If you are looking for a true home for a loved one and you are lucky enough to get a spot for them at Haven Place 21 you will be overjoyed by the care and love your loved one will receive while living there. He has been in their great care for 5 months now, and our entire family is very pleased with all they do for him. I visit at many different times and find every team member of every shift to be compassionate and loving for all of their residents. Dad is treated with dignity and respect. The service attitude is modeled throughout the entire complex. The facilities and grounds are beautiful and well kept. I only have one negative -- cell service is spotty indoors, but that gives me more reason to take Dad outdoors to explore the gardens (and beyond).

For the amount of money they cost you would think you would get adequate care. They take his laundry basket to take care of his clothes and don't return it for several days. He ends up not having any clothes to wear until one of the sons goes to the desk to complain. Because he doesn't have clean clothes to put on, his bedding gets soiled and they leave it like that, so we know he is not having his bedding changed in a timely manner. As health care providers, it is their responsibility to make sure their residents are cared for with dignity and respect. Thankfully he has family visit several times a week to keep up with the situation, God help any resident that doesn't have family nearby. There is another resident that is allowed access to others rooms and he steals things from them. I would never recommend this facility to anyone who loves their family member.

Every speech therapist and OT as well as Grace M for food therapy have been nothing but professional and personable. Sarah, Patrick, Caylee, Dr. Kaleigh, Angie, Krista, Tara, Grace M, Victoria, have been really good with my children, my children feel comfortable with any of them and that to me speaks volumes. I will not fail to mention the BEST receptionist... all 3 of them! Estel, Tiffany, and Vanessa. They definitely set the energy there and I love them oh and Kim the owner! She really cares about the children! Love this place. Keep it up ladies and Gentleman.

Horrible. He was late. Diagnosed me as an addict because I said I've smoked before. Tried to make…read moreme come off of my meds I've taken for years. This "dr" is using his position as a cash grab. Recommending 9 hours of outpatient therapy, which he is the only one to do it. This man gave me a 70 panel witnessed drug screen. Completely clean and STILL misdiagnosed me. He even wanted to give me a monthly injection to "stop cravings for opioids and alcoholism" which I don't use at all. I drink socially and he forced me to come up with a number per week etc. He has not found ONE PERSON safe to work as a nurse. It's all a cash grab. 750 for the eval, 500 for the drug screen and wanted 5500 dollars for treatment. I reported him to the medical board. He's had several disciplinary issues himself, had to relinquish his own license more than once for inappropriate patient conduct. If you are ever sent to the IPN just beware. They want money and they WILL find a way to make you pay. Awful place, not a good person. No empathy. Just money. Walk wide circles around him.

We found Pacifica Sun City Senior Living on the internet before COVID hit in February 2020.  We met…read morewith the director and was able to walk around facility and get a good look at the place with one of the sales folks.  We knew we didn't need to look any further after visiting Pacifica.  It was just what dad needed.  We brought dad down from New York to Pacifica in August 2020 and it made a world of difference.  He loves his room (2BD, 2BA). The outside vendors (PT, OT, PCP, Podiatrist, Lab Retriever and RX) have been tremendously helpful.  Pacifica has been able to help look after dad and get him the necessary care without him leaving the premises, even as he has deteriorated.  Unfortunately, dad has declined due to a terminal illness (brain tumor and dementia).  Pacifica was one of the first facilities to get their residents COVID shots which is tremendous considering New York has not given any vaccines to the elderly - yet.  Dad got his second shot last week. This past week, we took a look at the Memory Care Unit at Pacifica - just in case, as a next step.  It is a very bright, clean and inviting environment.  When we were there the residents were in a group playing with a beach ball and they were smiling and having fun.  It made us feel better about possibly having that as a "next step". Mitch, Joann, Marco and Christina have gone above and beyond even under very trying circumstances with COVID.  They are the reason the Pacifica community is able to function as well as they are.  We can't thank them and all the other staff at Pacifica enough for all they have done and are doing for dad.
