I took my son and grandson to play there yesterday had breakfast in the snack bar. All in all I…read morespent almost $230 . The employee with the dog moved at a snail's pace and paid more attention to the dog than the customer. I noticed there were no rubber tees on the mats and asked him for a rubber tee to use. He said" we sell the rubber tees" . I spent over $200 and he's going to charge for use of a tee.Ive been golfing for over50 years and never seen this before. Simply bad business on his part. His attitude was take it or leave it. So I left it! As far as the course is it was a nice shape and fun to play on the putting was in good shape as well.

So about a year ago we paid for a round online w cart included. It was a regular day not a holiday…read more We show up 15 min to our tee time and the young lady in there says there is no carts available. Remind you we have prepaid online for the cart and golf fee. I say I drove 50 minutes to play here and I'd like my money back. She says ok which I thought cool Ill be on my way to play elsewhere. The guy in the back name Freddy comes out and tells me there is no refunds after the young lady said she would refund us. I tell them if there is no carts then why am I getting stuck paying for 1 if there is none available. He goes on about how it says (in the small writing no one can see on there phones) no carts are guaranteed. So I say just refund me the cart at least and Ill go on my way because Im not walking and if I dont get a cart do to your shortage at least give me that. I will eat the cost of the round because Im not walking but give me the 20 for the cart back because you dont have it. He goes back and fourth with me for a while and then 2 carts magically appear from the back after he gets on his walkie talkie. Now this tells me 1 of 2 things. Those carts were saved for other people he wanted to give them to or those are the ones he rides around in when he's yelling at people on the course. The dude is rude and acts like he's a cop or something. Even if you just try and small talk the guy he wants to show his boss up personality. Now Troy that used to be there was a cool dude. They should bring him back. Fast forward a couple months go by and we go in on a holiday weekend and this time we didnt pay online because I know the hassle I previously had about him not wanting to reimburse us for cart shortage. We made the tee time over the phone. When we pull up I already see there are no carts. I walk in the club house and there is the Demon himself staring at me probably remembering the last time we had our run in. I say good morning (850 am) our tee time is at 910. He tells me there are no carts and there are 7 groups in front of me. I couldnt tell you how that many groups could fit in that 20 min gap but I said its all good and walked out. I dont understand why the guy acts like that. He's a grump and hardly ever see this guy talking to anyone. He let his little promotion get to him. I understand there are rules he must watch over while on the course but lets not be a prick in the clubhouse before we even reach the first tee. Have some kind of friendliness to the public. Another time I was paying at the desk and he runs from behind the desk to the front and starts yelling at some old man about going off the side of the curb. He said "We have new carts I better not see that again or you wont get another cart." Now the guy was in the wrong but dont embarrass the old guy. Anyways enough about that guy. The only reason I go back to play there is because I used to live there and the course is always green and in great shape. The greens roll true and the fairways are usually cut nice. The members there are always cool to join and for a public course I think the landscaping team does an awesome job. If anything those guys should be the ones getting the money on that team of workers. If you dont mind hearing a gun shot and sirens every now and then, this is a cool place to swing em!

I advise everyone to avoid Leguna Seca Golf Ranch as a venue for your wedding…read more My son and daughter-in-law got married there this past Saturday (7/19/2025) and while the location made for a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and photos, so much of their contract was not honored that it made things very stressful. We were supposed to have the patio (where the ceremony took place) and the room adjacent to it until a minimum of 3:30pm. We were also contracted to have two bartenders dedicated to our event, the use of their speaker system, a coordinator to help keep the ceremony on schedule, bridal photos on the golf course, and a slew of other things promised but never delivered. Instead, after the ceremony (about 1:00 or 1:30), Leguna Seca personnel rudely started telling the bride, groom, wedding party, and all guests that they had another event that day (which turned out to be untrue) so we were to clean everything up and leave immediately. It was a mad scramble to gather all of our stuff before Leguna Seca staff tossed it in the garbage and locked us out of the room (which they tried to do before we were done). As a result, my kids were not able to gather with their friends and family after pictures were done so we did not get to toast the bride and groom, make our speeches, watch them do their first dance, etc. This was extremely upsetting and robbed my kids of some very special memories of their special day. Shame on Leguna Seca for not living up to their end of the contract but feeling free to take many thousands of dollars from us for the venue fee, golf fees on Friday, and large alcohol tabs (Friday while playing golf and during the rehearsal plus Saturday during the wedding). To make matters worse, on wedding day we had to share the main bar and one bartender (the only kind and considerate staff member we encountered) with golfers which made the line to get a drink out of control. To say I am a mad Mom because of what this venue did to my kids special day would be a gross understatement. Fortunately, my kids are resilient and awesome and chose to focus on the positive aspects of the day instead of Leguna Seca's unprofessional actions.

Love how they have a back room to set the buffet up in and keep your stuff in. I got an amazing package through them although I booked my wedding 2 years in advance and I know they changed things so not sure what the current rates are but I was ao grateful to be able to have an affordable wedding in the Monterey area. So much food at our buffet with cake included. And everything tasted amazing. Even the appetizers were mouth watering. The drinks are also great - and strong! They did signature cocktails as well for me. They let us set an amount for the bar with certain selections for open bar and then guests could do cash bar for top shelf selections if they wanted and both options were utilized. They have a fully stocked bar with so much to offer and the bar staff is the absolute best. They were very easy to work with, no scary overwhelming contracts, just good communication. There were staff changes during my time as a bride but both my main points of contact were easy to work with throughout the process. They let us pull up right by the back room and store our wedding items in the back the night before and come the next day to get everything- very generous of them. Any time I needed to discuss anything, they were responsive. They also let us do a free tasting - we were seriously full all day, such great food! Everyone is so nice. I am giving 5 stars but the only hiccupy things that happened were they originally told me the timeline for my wedding would be 5 pm - 11 pm but then later on they said they needed to change it to end at 10 pm due to noise ordinances. They let me start at 4 though and luckily I hadn't sent out invitations yet so it wasn't a big deal but I had to change all my other contracts with all my other vendors which was kinda annoying. It did push up the whole day such as getting ready, first look photos - a wedding timeline is a very sensitive thing and even changing it by an hour took extra planning time with all my vendors so that's not a small thing to have a bride change. But it all worked out and I preferred the earlier timeline actually. They also only give 2 hours of setup time, but you can stage a lot of things in the back room so its totally doable - we had to be really organized and prepared for tight setup time. Also there was overlap with golfers still being there and my guests arriving so even though they have a huge parking lot, the parking lot was very filled up during the guest arrival time which worried me a little but it all worked out with everyone finding a spot. I was also told by some of my guests that dinner service felt a bit rushed, like staff grabbing away plates while people were still finishing their food. I didn't witness this first hand so I truly dont know what was up with that but I had a whole table of no shows due to a family emergency so we had plenty of extra food and I truly hope people could even get seconds if they wanted. I dont like hearing that food was literally being pulled away. However, there were so many compliments from my guests about the food, staff, and experience. People loved the cake and they gave me a custom cake flavor so very appreciative. Overall, everyone loved the venue. They leave drapery up and even though its definitely an older building (it passes well for a rustic vibe) they work on drawing your eye to the areas that they uplevel plus the ocean views and huge windows are stunning. I would 1000 percent recommend this venue. Not sure what current rates are or what changes they may have made since I booked. I hope they keep costs reasonable- the wedding industry is so tough and I get it, and they could charge more, and I know it is a ton of work but its so lovely that couples could literally have their dream wedding wiithout feeling price gauged. They are very fair there and that's such a rare thing to be able to say. I truly love that they seem to really care about their clients. I am super grateful and love it there and will go there every year for my anniversary dinner!

No weights. -Spa. There was no water dispenser and no hair dryer. In the women's locker room, there were lockers, one shower, new bathrobes, one pair of slippers (that we saw), and fresh towels. The pro shop looked well stocked with golf clothes, footwear, accessories. I'm sure there were golf clubs (I didn't really look, but I'm pretty sure I saw some bags). Lastly, they have strict dress code- both at the course and at the range- no denim, no t-shirt's, no sweats. Didn't know this prior to coming here.
