    Teeing off on 10.

There's been a big change at The Club at Pasadera! It was purchased in November 2023 by Concert Golf Partners, which has the resources and professional experience to continue the many improvements started by the prior local owners, who over five years had invested millions into TCAP after taking over from Chinese conglomerate HNA in 2018. Under the guidance of a superintendent who spent at decade honing his craft at Spyglass Hill in Pebble Beach, the TCAP course is now in fantastic shape and features some of the best holes on the Monterey Peninsula. The front nine plays similar to a valley course, while the back nine has major elevation changes like a mountain course. Jump at the chance to play it if you get the opportunity. With wide fairways but dozens of bunkers and water in play on 10 holes, this is a course you're sure to find endlessly interesting ... and challenging!

A blushing bride signature cocktail served a la creme.

I attended a wedding here last weekend, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The best part is the bar staff will gladly add whipped cream and a cherry to whatever drink you please. Unfortunately, they did not have Schlitz or any canned beer at all, so we were unable to get my favorite celebratory beverage, a Schlitz cocktail. But, like good seamen, we adjusted the sails and still were able to find a drink that works. I will turn over the rest of my review to my friend Pat H. who told the story of our pleasurable bar experience better than I can: --- "We were worried they might not have whipped cream at the bar, so we brought our own and put a bottle behind the bar so they were good to go. But when we came back to the bar after dinner and asked for whipped cream and a cherry on top of the bride's signature 'blushing bride' greyhound, the bartender said they didn't have whipped cream. I asked her to double-check, and she looked. I peeked over the sink full of ice and champagne where I left the bottle and it wasn't there, and she said they don't have any. So I left with my blushing bride without cream. I turn around and see a disappointed Bethany and Jeremy and they send me right back to her. I go back with my blushing bride and ask the same bartender again to check if they have whipped cream and a cherry for my drink like a crazy person, but this time her eyes light up and she says, 'Yes, there is one bottle!' Before applying the whipped cream to my cocktail, she holds back and says 'I thought I've seen everything, but this takes the cake' about five times in a row. Then she finally applies the whipped cream and adds the cherry on top and says one more time 'I thought I'd seen everything.' Then Jeremy comes over and says, 'Would you like sprinkles on that?' And unscrews the sprinkles cap that was up his tuxedo sleeve and shakes on the sprinkles perfectly. I think she had a heart attack."

I went to a private party and it was great! The service was on point, the food good, and the atmosphere was lovely. The only drawback was the limited bathrooms for the number of attendees. I cannot get over the paella pan with seafood. Divine!

Our wedding was August 5, 2017 and I could not be happier. After emailing and speaking with multiple vendors in the area we decided to meet with Debbie at the Nicklaus club. The venue does not disappoint on grandeur. You arrive to a beautiful iron gate and drive up through ponds and gorgeous greenery. The old Spanish style of the clubhouse is great! There is ivy, a beautiful courtyard with fountain, basically just gorgeous! Debbie took us on the grand tour explaining the entire wedding process along with history of the club. It was the only venue we physically went to look at and we were sold. On top of that you get the entire venue for the full day of your event. The price was way more reasonable than most other venues in the general area. The provide their own catering, liquor, tables and linens, and even extras like candles for the tables, and specialty chairs which usually cost more at other venues. Made it super easy to plan! We had a great tasting and even better they allowed both our parents to attend as well. They really made us feel welcome and that we would "own" the place on our wedding day. Even down to what furniture I wanted where. For example I was able to drop off all my decor, including two huge wine barrels, on Friday morning...come back Friday afternoon for my rehearsal, show up Saturday morning at 10am to get ready and then have my wedding at 5. To top it off we got to store our stuff there to pick up Sunday morning so none of my family had to stay late to collect things. I did not have a wedding planner and thanks to their lovely coordinators I didn't really need one. Paige and Danielle were very responsive to my millions of emails back and forth. They were there to walk us through the rehearsal and even pulled strings to make sure a treasured family crest was hung in the ballroom on the wedding day. The actual day went off without a hitch and Monterey delivered on the beautiful weather. Multiple guests came up to me and said this was the first wedding where they actually enjoyed the food! Paige, Danielle, and everyone who works there made our wedding day a literal dream come true!

A great golf course to play if you're in the Monterey/Marina/Salinas area. Fairways were in incredible shape as were the greens and bunkers (which I unfortunately visited more than I would've liked!). Very nice practice area (range, putting green, chipping green with bunker that mirrors what you'll see in the course. Thanks to Kurt Burmeister for the opportunity it's to play!

Such friendly and helpful staff! I have golfed here twice and the course is just lovely. Today, I enjoyed a glass of sparking Rose' (maybe 3) in the sun with a yummy poke on the outdoor patio. I love this club.

Nice place, great staff, good food. Well placed bars and food catering areas, ample seating in and outside.

I found this venue on Instagram and didn't see it in-person until I was engaged. When we were visiting venues, we fell in love with the event space, both the ceremony site (overlooking the golf course) and modern indoor reception area. We booked the venue one-year out. It was the first & only venue we looked at! We knew it was the location we wanted to be married at. We thoroughly enjoyed working with the Fairview team!! They were very attentive to our details and made our plans & visions a reality. From all the vendors we worked with, everyone was professional and courteous. The baker made us a delicious and beautiful 3-tiered cake, each layer a different flavor. The florist followed my inspiration photos & the DJ read the room well, playing the perfect songs and introducing everyone with a great flow. I highly recommend having a day of coordinator. Well worth the money to have an stress-free (less stressful) day. My husband and I chose the Elite package because it was the best fit for our 150-guest list. Our guests enjoyed the venue, loved the bartenders and appreciated the kids' meals for their children. And the sparkler send off at the end was a fairytale experience! It was truly a joyous day. We are so thankful for the Fairview team and couldn't ask for a more perfect wedding day.

Holly Farm - Holly Farm team 3

    Holly Farm

    (136 reviews)

If you are considering Holly Farm as the venue for your wedding, and you just want the tl;dr, then…read morehere are my three most important suggestions for you: 1) You should absolutely go with Holly Farm. 2) You should accept every piece of advice Erin, Ryan, and the rest of the incredible team have for you along the way. 3) You should start getting excited right now about La Creme because their food is out of this world. Picking Holly Farm as our venue was the first choice we made in our wedding planning process, and trust me when I say that it was by far the best one. The pictures speak for themselves, and yes, it's as amazing as it looks (though if you haven't visited, you should take the excuse - it's truly stunning in person), but the real game changer is the team. The Holly Farm fam has been at this for decades, and it SHOWS. They cater to your needs and your vision, whether you want to be super hands on and into the nitty gritty on everything, or whether you want somebody to completely take the reins for you. We were so so appreciative for Erin's help during the planning process; any time we were stuck on something, she had a recommendation ready that was never just "off the shelf". We didn't want to be totally consumed by wedding planning all the time, and even though Erin had a big list of vendors ready to go, we were more than happy to listen every time she said "here's the 2 who I think you guys would love". It's really really telling to me that every single vendor we spoke to - without exception, including the ones we didn't end up choosing - all said some version of the same thing: "oh man I LOVE doing weddings at Holly Farm". Here's what I'll say about the weekend itself - it truly feels like you are staying at a luxury resort where you and your friends are the only guests. The entire staff is so attentive, so friendly, and they take care of all the details and logistics so that your only job really is to just enjoy the weekend and stay relaxed. We cooked a huge friends and family dinner in the Adobe and they cleaned the entire kitchen for us! Anytime we were hanging out in the evenings they rolled the portable heaters up without us asking! They moved our rental equipment around to make cool outdoor spaces for us so that we could get more use out of it than just the wedding itself! And nothing felt so satisfying as passing by Ryan on a path and hearing "hey I just lit your fireplace for you!". Of everything we loved about our wedding, the thing we loved most was getting to have this full weekend experience with our closest friends and family in one place, made truly special by the care the entire Holly Farm team put into making us feel at ease and at home. And one final thing - lest I leave you with the impression that this is only about good vibes - the operations for the wedding itself were incredible. Every vendor knows the team and knows the venue, everything works like clockwork without you having to supervise anything, and Erin, Ryan, and their staff have things so tightly coordinated that we didn't have to stress about logistics at all once the weekend got started. I can't emphasize enough how big a difference that made to us compared to some horror stories we'd heard from other weddings. Here are some final quick hits on other things you might be wondering about - but seriously, pick Holly Farm: - I didn't write an entire review for Tamie and La Creme, because it would be just as long, but they do amazing work. This is straight up excellent food, not excellent "wedding" food. - The rooms and buildings are very cool and very comfortable. - Yes, the Paraiso suite is "open air". Yes, it really does stay warm. Having a roaring fire in there, plus a heated blanket on the bed....A+. - The optional River House for extra space is definitely walkable (~3 mins), but it's nice to have flashlights at night. - Having the flexibility to use the space however you want for the entire weekend is a highly highly underrated perk. We had people hanging out on Thursday and Friday and it was a ton of fun. Highly recommend making plans that utilize the space every day. - We were nervous about the higher cost at first, but asking friends and family who stayed on site to pay for rooms turned out to not be a very big deal, and what we charged them was still way less than area hotels. - The music has to switch from DJ's speakers to house speakers at 9:30pm, but the house speakers can stay on all night if you want. We had just as much fun after the switchover. - No curfew is also a huge perk not to overlook. Erin and Ryan if you're reading this THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN YOU GUYS ARE ROCK STARS!!

Our wedding was an absolute dream come true. The love we had for each other and for our family and friends that traveled from across the country to celebrate with us was reflected in the beauty and spirit of Holly Farm and all of the wonderful folks that work there. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the warmth and charm of the space. It was as if every inch of the venue was designed to make us and our guests feel at home, while still capturing an elevated, magical atmosphere that was simply unforgettable. Everyone at Holly Farm went above and beyond to ensure each detail of our wedding weekend was flawless. Their attention to detail was extraordinary, and it was clear they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Ryan and Erin were so caring and attentive, and they made us feel like family. They were there for every little detail and made us feel completely at ease. The food, catered by La Creme, was nothing short of five star restaurant quality. We've received countless compliments from our guests about how delicious everything was! This was a big deal, especially coming from our families who are used to extravagant New Jersey weddings with an abundance of food. They all told us it was the best wedding food they'd ever had, which is about the highest praise you can get from a family who knows food! Everything about The Holly Farm was perfect--from the gorgeous, tropical setting that felt like a hidden paradise against the coastal backdrop of Carmel to the impeccable service and food. We couldn't have imagined a more beautiful, heartfelt, and memorable experience, and our friends and family STILL haven't stopped raving about it! Our wedding weekend was made even more special thanks to the onsite haciendas where we, along with some of our close friends, stayed. The houses were cozy yet luxurious, and perfectly appointed with a level of service that truly felt five-star. Each detail was perfect, from the unbelievably comfortable beds to the wood burning fires that were lit by hand each night and the wonderful house staff that made everyone feel at home the moment they arrived. Getting to spend the whole weekend in such an enchanting space made the whole wedding feel so much more special, a truly immersive experience vs a single-day event. We loved discovering the countless nooks and crannies throughout the property where our friends and family could relax, chat, and soak in the surroundings. It created a sense of intimacy and closeness that made the entire experience feel so special. When the weekend was over, we genuinely didn't want to leave. Heck, we may even crash the wedding that's probably getting ready to kick off this weekend! The Holly Farm made every moment magical, and we will forever cherish our time spent there with the people we love most.

We truly got to enjoy every minute of our wedding day with no stress, because we knew that Makenna, Chef David, Amanda, and the whole team were on top of every detail. Our wedding was 240 people with a morning ceremony/lunch, a full space flip, and an evening cocktail/reception. The Barns team seamlessly pulled off two layouts in the same space in one day, with different meals, bar offerings, decor, and rentals for each. Beyond the amazing team - the venue itself is truly stunning; it's so beautiful that we only had to minimally decorate to create a warm and elegant atmosphere. The space is the perfect balance of rustic and modern, and the barn is deceptively large; we were able to fit everyone on the dance floor! The attached garden is perfect for photographs and a quieter space for guests. We were even able to do an Indian Baraat, due to the unique downtown layout with street access. The Barns are walkable to multiple downtown hotels, so if you do a hotel block or ancillary events, guests can easily move between the spaces without worrying about late-night transportation. From the start, working with our sales manager Amanda was a joy. She coordinated a pre-booking tasting for us and showed us many different layouts for the space, to help us feel confident that the Barns would be the right fit for our wedding. Amanda helped us with flexibility throughout our planning process - helping us contract reasonable spend minimums well ahead of having a firm guest count. Our event manager Makenna went above and beyond to enable our vision. She accommodated a remarkable number of requests, questions, and add-ons with grace and professionalism. Makenna kept us organized, and her meticulous notes ensured no detail was forgotten. She liaised with our photographer, DJ, florist, and rental contact to ensure everyone was working off of the same schedule. She took the time to understand the context behind each of the cultural aspects of our wedding ceremony and event flow, and ensured that the spirit and the intent was carried through. Finally - Makenna was a constant source of creative ideas; she knows every detail of the Barns in and out, and has thought through every possible configuration, down to the height of plants that might block views and where the sun might fall at different times of the day. We were so lucky to have had Makenna's expertise, dedication, and creativity throughout the process. Chef David and the culinary team at the Barns were truly exceptional. The team learned how to make multiple Indian dishes for our wedding, and managed two large multi-cuisine meals in one day. We're still hearing rave reviews of the food 6 months later. Throughout the whole process, the team was open to feedback and refining flavors and sizing to match our vision. Finally, we appreciated the level of attention given to dietary restrictions, including willingness to label tray-passed items, which we had never seen before. We highly recommend getting married at the Barns at Cooper Molera. The team at the Barns worked with us for 18 months to bring our vision to reality, answering countless calls, texts, and emails to ensure every detail was perfect. Love how they have a back room to set the buffet up in and keep your stuff in. I got an amazing package through them although I booked my wedding 2 years in advance and I know they changed things so not sure what the current rates are but I was ao grateful to be able to have an affordable wedding in the Monterey area. So much food at our buffet with cake included. And everything tasted amazing. Even the appetizers were mouth watering. The drinks are also great - and strong! They did signature cocktails as well for me. They let us set an amount for the bar with certain selections for open bar and then guests could do cash bar for top shelf selections if they wanted and both options were utilized. They have a fully stocked bar with so much to offer and the bar staff is the absolute best. They were very easy to work with, no scary overwhelming contracts, just good communication. There were staff changes during my time as a bride but both my main points of contact were easy to work with throughout the process. They let us pull up right by the back room and store our wedding items in the back the night before and come the next day to get everything- very generous of them. Any time I needed to discuss anything, they were responsive. They also let us do a free tasting - we were seriously full all day, such great food! Everyone is so nice. I am giving 5 stars but the only hiccupy things that happened were they originally told me the timeline for my wedding would be 5 pm - 11 pm but then later on they said they needed to change it to end at 10 pm due to noise ordinances. They let me start at 4 though and luckily I hadn't sent out invitations yet so it wasn't a big deal but I had to change all my other contracts with all my other vendors which was kinda annoying. It did push up the whole day such as getting ready, first look photos - a wedding timeline is a very sensitive thing and even changing it by an hour took extra planning time with all my vendors so that's not a small thing to have a bride change. But it all worked out and I preferred the earlier timeline actually. They also only give 2 hours of setup time, but you can stage a lot of things in the back room so its totally doable - we had to be really organized and prepared for tight setup time. Also there was overlap with golfers still being there and my guests arriving so even though they have a huge parking lot, the parking lot was very filled up during the guest arrival time which worried me a little but it all worked out with everyone finding a spot. I was also told by some of my guests that dinner service felt a bit rushed, like staff grabbing away plates while people were still finishing their food. I didn't witness this first hand so I truly dont know what was up with that but I had a whole table of no shows due to a family emergency so we had plenty of extra food and I truly hope people could even get seconds if they wanted. I dont like hearing that food was literally being pulled away. However, there were so many compliments from my guests about the food, staff, and experience. People loved the cake and they gave me a custom cake flavor so very appreciative. Overall, everyone loved the venue. They leave drapery up and even though its definitely an older building (it passes well for a rustic vibe) they work on drawing your eye to the areas that they uplevel plus the ocean views and huge windows are stunning. I would 1000 percent recommend this venue. Not sure what current rates are or what changes they may have made since I booked. I hope they keep costs reasonable- the wedding industry is so tough and I get it, and they could charge more, and I know it is a ton of work but its so lovely that couples could literally have their dream wedding wiithout feeling price gauged. They are very fair there and that's such a rare thing to be able to say. I truly love that they seem to really care about their clients. I am super grateful and love it there and will go there every year for my anniversary dinner!

I advise everyone to avoid Leguna Seca Golf Ranch as a venue for your wedding…read more My son and daughter-in-law got married there this past Saturday (7/19/2025) and while the location made for a beautiful backdrop to the ceremony and photos, so much of their contract was not honored that it made things very stressful. We were supposed to have the patio (where the ceremony took place) and the room adjacent to it until a minimum of 3:30pm. We were also contracted to have two bartenders dedicated to our event, the use of their speaker system, a coordinator to help keep the ceremony on schedule, bridal photos on the golf course, and a slew of other things promised but never delivered. Instead, after the ceremony (about 1:00 or 1:30), Leguna Seca personnel rudely started telling the bride, groom, wedding party, and all guests that they had another event that day (which turned out to be untrue) so we were to clean everything up and leave immediately. It was a mad scramble to gather all of our stuff before Leguna Seca staff tossed it in the garbage and locked us out of the room (which they tried to do before we were done). As a result, my kids were not able to gather with their friends and family after pictures were done so we did not get to toast the bride and groom, make our speeches, watch them do their first dance, etc. This was extremely upsetting and robbed my kids of some very special memories of their special day. Shame on Leguna Seca for not living up to their end of the contract but feeling free to take many thousands of dollars from us for the venue fee, golf fees on Friday, and large alcohol tabs (Friday while playing golf and during the rehearsal plus Saturday during the wedding). To make matters worse, on wedding day we had to share the main bar and one bartender (the only kind and considerate staff member we encountered) with golfers which made the line to get a drink out of control. To say I am a mad Mom because of what this venue did to my kids special day would be a gross understatement. Fortunately, my kids are resilient and awesome and chose to focus on the positive aspects of the day instead of Leguna Seca's unprofessional actions.
