This is my second time stopping into Solely Wine (first time was for a Yelp event) and both times…read morehave been great! When I had first visited and found out that they do wine bingo, I knew I had to come back. My bestie and I used to love going to Wine Market & Table for wine bingo, but after they closed a few years ago we never found anyone else who did it. Solely Wine has solved that! They have a nice selection of wines available by the glass, but they also have a much larger selection of wines, separated by type, that you can buy by the bottle (you can't grab them yourself off the shelf, a staff member has to do that) to open and drink there or take home. My friends and I each started out with just a glass of wine and then ended up buying some bottles to share while playing bingo since we were staying for a few hours and it was a better price point to share bottles. It can get expensive buying by the glass. They also have some snacks/appetizers available for purchase if you get hungry. The inside has lots of different seating options: cozy arm chairs and couches, large family-dinner-style tables, and smaller tables along the windows. They also have a beautiful patio! Towards the back they also have an art gallery and additional seating, although I don't think that space is always open. The bathroom is kept very clean and the staff are helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another girls night.

I also love that they're connected to an art gallery, it really adds to the overall experience. I came here for a Yelp event and had an amazing time. Inside, the space is peaceful and inviting, with comfortable seating, games to play, and lots of natural light and live plants that create such a relaxing vibe. The owner was incredibly helpful. I wanted to try a wine flight, and she guided me through selecting options based on my preferences. The wine flight comes with four glasses and is about $24, which felt a little on the expensive side. They accept cards and also have a rewards system (which I definitely signed up for). There's a wide variety of wines, from dry to sweet, so there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my flight. There was one red (Gamay) that wasn't my favorite since I tend to prefer sweet to semi-sweet wines, but I've been trying to expand my palate, which is why I love the option of flights. It also said it paired well with pizza, so maybe if I was eating that, it would be better. I enjoyed browsing their wine selection for purchase. I really admire how everything is well organized and easy to explore. They sell Stellar pretzels which I've had before and are so good, but solely had cinnamon dolce flavor that I never had before, neither had Kiara, so she bought some and I got to try the them (thank you Kiara!), they tasted just like a churro, so delicious, like a dessert! I can definitely see myself coming back here with friends or even just to enjoy the space and unwind. Such a great vibe overall.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza along with a glass of wine, and both were absolutely delicious. The pizza was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor--the kind of comfort food that pairs so well with a good wine. The wine itself was smooth, enjoyable, and really elevated the whole experience. What truly stood out, though, was the service. I had forgotten to grab a Coke, and the staff member helping me was kind enough to go above and beyond by bringing me a bottle. That small act of kindness really made my visit feel special and appreciated. Overall, this was such a great experience--from the food to the wine to the exceptional service. I'll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable outing.

Staff was nice enough, but when we arrived there was a dog roaming around and staff seemed bothered. May be it was just an off day and although we won't be returning I hope they continue to succeed. The one thing I would avoid is the charcuterie board, for $25 it was terribly disappointing and overpriced.

The charcuterie was very tasty and the Mediterranean chicken Pinsa flatbread was delicious. The Pinsa was somehow light, crispy, and chewy all at once - we loved it. I recommend asking for the fig jam to go with the charcuterie if it is not brought to the table (ours wasn't so I asked and received a very addictive fig jam and stone ground mustard). The old fashioned was perfectly crafted with a large square, clear ice block, Marasca cherry, and fresh orange zest. Now that they have a full kitchen, they will be bringing entree options to the menu so we look forward to going back to try. The large garage doors were up and the outdoor seating was packed. There was a band setting up outside but we didn't stay long enough to hear them play. Overall, such an enjoyable experience.

You don't have to go to California or the Bourbon Trail for a great wine and bourbon tasting…read moreexperience because right in the little town of Zionsville is an amazing tasting bar. The bar is owned and locally operated by Ron Hopwood. Ron makes and bottles his own wines and bourbons. Most of the grapes are locally grown. I have passed by his bar for years because I was skeptical of Midwest wines until I had a bottle of his chardonnay at the local pizzeria. The chardonnay was so smooth and delicious, that I walked down the street to his tasting room. The cozy upscale bar is FILLED with Hopwood wines and bourbons. He offers tastings or you can buy a bottle or glass. and sit at one of his lovely tables and sip. He even sells charcuterie boards and dipping breads to pair with your wine. Awards for the wines cover a wall. Ron is most proud of winning the 2019 American Wine Societies award for best cabernet sauvignon. The wines are inexpensive and they offer special pricing to Club members. To be a member, one needs to commit to buying 2 bottles/month or 2 cases/year. It's such a great deal that I am going back over this week to join. Ron has special events for Club members! Hopwood is a great place to sneak away on a date or with your bff. It is cozy and delicious.

Unfortunately, I did learn that Hopwood Cellars is closing its doors for good in June, so it was a good thing I came back to visit. Hopwood Cellars is one of the best wineries in Indiana that I have been to since living in Indianapolis. The owner is a great guy and very friendly and helpful to the customers. His staff is very knowledgeable on the wines, and the ambiance is beautiful. The Cabernet Sauvignon is my personal favorite wine. They also have a great Chardonnay as well. The winery does sell flights of wine so you can sample a few wines. The wine milkshakes are supposedly out of this world, so I would stop by before the end of June 2025 to try one, or else you will miss out on the opportunity. The bar area goes around the facility and is very nice. They have a wine sample card you can purchase to try a bunch of wines as well. The staff definitely knows what they are doing, and they are very professional on presenting the wines. I'm sad that Hopwood Cellars is closing this year because it was a good winery and one of my favorites in Indiana. I wish the owner nothing but the best, but I know he will succeed in whatever business he decides to do next. Farewell to Hopwood Cellars Winery! We will miss you!

The inside was actually bigger than I was expecting. There was a beautiful bar located on one side of the house. Overall, decor was elegant but not pretentious. You could come in casual attire and not feel out of place. Our waiter was very personable and had a great sense of humor. He took time to explain the menu and was extremely helpful when it came to helping us decide on what to get. Everything sounded fantastic especially the starters. I didn't get a cocktail but I did get a lovely cup of hot peach tea that was very delightful. My friend's cocktail was beautiful. We did get a sample of one of the sparkling wines which was very nice. Mt friends ordered several items and I tried most of them. The carrots were my favorite. I ordered the tots and caviar as my main meal. This is definitely the upscale, adult version of tots. The potatoes were very crispy and I was shocked by the amount of caviar for the price. All the food was beautifully presented. And everything came out hot. Meaning temperature hot. You could tell everything was cooked fresh. Overall, it was a great culinary experience. But don't hesitate to get in here, just watch your step a bit. It's dim and romantic with a retro vibe. We ate at the bar which always tends to give a good feel for a new place. There were two barmaids who came and went as they had to serve tables too, but service was quite attentive. We were primarily served by Melissa (I hope I remembered her name right!) and she was so helpful with answering questions. We happened to come on the half price app day** so naturally we tried the Breaking Bread... incredible, easily sufficient for four people to share. It was warm, soft, cheesy and full of flavor. The marinara was delicious as was the blended cheese dip. We took half home and enjoyed it the next day. My husband had the smoked salmon sandwich. It was beautiful to behold, smelled so delectable, and off the charts delicious. After I took a bite I was jealous. I did thoroughly enjoy my BLT+E with a wonderful runny egg and thick fresh tomato. I think I would have liked it better on toasted bread vs. the bun. Everything on the menu sounded good. I had a peek at the brunch menu too. I had a cocktail called the Farm Market which was so refreshing and like a taste of summer which I needed badly on this bitter cold evening. They have a great cocktail list and of course an extensive wine list which is set up in unique categories and fun to read. My husband was happy with his wine. They also have port! Four kinds! Melissa kindly gave me a taste of one and I am SO coming back for a port flight. A word on accessibility- the main entrance has two steps up and there are sturdy grab bars on both sides but you do need to be a bit cautious at the bottom. I was told there is a rear or side entry that is wheelchair accessible. It was way too cold to explore but I'll check it out on our next visit in the very near future. If you're thinking of giving the Cork a try, don't hesitate. It's fabulous. **Yelp advises they are removing Tips (boo) so I'll note again here that apps are half price all night on Thursdays.

The Burgers are fairly good. If i was judging the food quality alone, it'd be like 3 stars. But the menu offerings, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service are all boosting the overall experience. The atmosphere is lovely in a historic general store with antique shelves and woodwork.
